How accurate is Otter?

A shout-out for @otter_ai, one of my new favourite things in the world. Switch the phone on, interview someone, and you get an audio file and transcript that's 95% accurate. Oh to have had this service twenty years ago.

Easy, surprisingly accurate and a must if you need to take notes in Zoom meetings.

I’ve just experienced the most amazing thing. A 45 minute video of me chatting in an interview, into @otter_ai. 6 minutes later, fully transcribed with keywords. Simply wow!

I often use subtitles, but on live programming even I can see they are very often pretty useless - what system do they use? At the moment for webinars I am using https://t.co/zl2ERNgcbU, which is instant and really accurate - why are TV subtitles so slow and inaccurate?

A voice transcribing app @otter_ai is simply amazing. The accuracy of its transcribing astonishes me and as a grad student who uses interviewing research, it’s very helpful. I wonder if I can upload voice recorded data (MP4, MP3, or WAV) on this app and make it transcribe them🤔
