human design chart
Hello, everybody, welcome back to tapping this week. I'm Deborah Donnndelinger. And today we are talking and tapping about finding your own timing. Every year around New Year's, I will start to bring up this idea of finding our own timing because I really get annoyed at the pressure to do new year's resolutions and this whole follow the herd mentality around the holidays and New Year's. So I want to talk about timing from from three different aspects. The first is that according to your human design chart, which is looking at how your energy is wired, we each have a very, very unique way of relating to time and finding the energy to do things and start things depending on what centers are defined in your human design chart, and even if you know nothing about your human design chart, you can still relate to this. Some of us have a really good sense of when it's time to start something and some of us always feel the pressure to start and we don't know. Okay, what is it mine to do or not? Some of us might feel that inkling for something starting to build like an energy building up, but we don't quite have enough starting energy yet. And really the invitation is to wait until we do have enough starting energy to get moving. Some of us really need to sleep on our decisions and spontaneous impulsive. Let's do it. Now. Timing does not work for us. So as you think back to your relationship with timing, what comes up for me is that those of us in a school setting or a work setting, we haven't been allowed to follow our own timing. We've had to follow someone else's schedule some external structure. So let's do some tapping as we think about how frustrating does it feel? How limiting how jarring how supportive has it felt, to be following these external structures from either school or work or religious communities. When you notice other people affecting your timing, how does that feel to you inside your body? What I noticed for myself is this frustration and the cycler and the gut area and it's like this sort of annoyance of being pushed in the wrong direction. So take a second to notice what you feel and then we'll do some tapping. I'm assuming that you know the tapping points if not hop over to my website and look at the how to tap page as a written description there's a video there's an audio should be pretty straightforward.
side of the hand
is I noticed I feel a little bit frustrated and not being allowed to follow my own timing.
I deeply and completely accept myself anyway.
As I noticed, feeling a little bit frustrated about feeling out of sorts.
Having to conform to somebody else's timetable.
I deeply and completely accept myself anyway.
I noticed how supportive It is sometimes to have external timetables.
It gets me moving it helps me be productive.
I deeply and completely accept myself and how I get things done. Moving to the points I begin with the eyebrow eyebrow feeling frustrated.
under the eye, feeling out of sync
under the nose noticing my own time I
should point noticing when I feel flexible
collarbone and noticing when I don't
under the arm, this frustration in my body, top of the head, this pressure in my body. Okay, stop there, relax your hand. Gentle breath. And do you notice for me, oh gosh, that first point got me completely relaxed eyebrow point. This is a sidebar. But have you noticed when you're tapping that some of the points just all of a sudden everything drains from you? Or is it more of that as a general general relaxation? Or you might actually be noticing that you get more tense as you tune into the issue that we're talking and tapping about whatever your response is great, but noticing it is just sort of feedback for yourself how tapping works for you. So the second aspect of timing is paying attention to to nature and the rhythms and the traditions that have been around tied to the seasons. And I have a bit of a of a bias against a lot of holidays that become very commercialized and rigid without tuning into the energy behind the holiday. And for me, the winter holidays are about a sense of realizing we need other people to survive and appreciation that we have other people and also really like, okay, we're going into the, you know, the dark weather. We don't have any crops to harvest, we really are now relying on the fruits of our labor from earlier in the year. So there's a little bit of a trusting that we have enough. So as we start to tune into the natural rhythms of the world around us, we can actually find a flow that supports us rather than feel like we're being jarred and pushed along. The third thing I want to say about finding your own timing is that this is a concept I've gotten from gene keys, the energy we bring into the start of something carries through and flavors that entire endeavor. So if you look at when you're starting something, how you're feeling about it, what your intentions are, what your energy is, and notice whether there's a sense of pressure or guilt, that energy carries through for things that are important to us. Take a moment to do some tapping to find that centered place around what is it that you really are trying to achieve with this? And what is it feelings, if you're noticing you're coming from a heavier place, shift that before you move into it? acting out of guilt or obligation doesn't work for most of us. It does work for a few of us, but not all of us. The last thing that I find really interesting about timing is jinkies and Human Design teach us that the starting energy for the year doesn't begin until January 20 of 21st If you've been following any of the just for today, work in my book or in some of these podcasts, you'll notice that throughout the year there are some very distinct energies, we have energy to create, we have the energy to collaborate, we have energy to tidy up. And the starting energy is actually coming in for us around January doesn't mean you can't start things around the other parts of the year. But there is a powerful creative force. The other timing that ties to us when we look at the bigger astrological picture is our birthday. And three months leading up to our birthday or often time of integration. So my birthday is in April. So I really match up well with the January timing as well. But my years have very different flavors, very distinct things that are happening unfolding. So nothing will stay the same for you. Your timing will change your interest will change. So as you think about finding your own timing, feeling supported by your structures in your household, in your community, with me Nature and even with astrology and the stars, do you feel supported? Do you feel like you're in the flow? And things are showing up for you helping you move forward with what's important to you? Or do you feel a little bit chopped like you've been batted around from side to side like a pinball machine, and you don't know where you're going? So take a second and notice how supported and aligned Do you feel with the world with the universe.
And let's do some tapping side of the hand
as I noticed that I feel not quite aligned with the universe. I deeply and completely trust myself anyway. Because I noticed that I feel a lot aligned with the universe.
Things are working out so well for me
and I feel connected and supported and powerful as well.
I deeply and completely accept myself.
Because I noticed that I bounced between feeling somewhat in the flow and completely in the flow.
I noticed that it's actually always getting better.
Moving to the points, feeling aligned with the larger picture.
Feel like I'm being supported on what I want to create.
Noticing when it feels out of alignment for me.
What if the universe is on my side?
What if I get to show up as myself? And that's exactly what the universe wants. As I pay attention to who I am and what feels aligned to me
I noticed how it gets easier, and I feel supported.
Stop there another gentle breath.
Oh, nice job, everybody. So my invitation to you is to really notice the timing what feels aligned for you What's the energy you're bringing into starting, and then find your own way with me due to any resolution setting a goal setting. I have several articles on my site from previous two years around resolutions that you might enjoy. And I also have a new product that I guess I'll tell you now because it makes sense. It's called getting it done. It's a really cool course that combines tapping with SM structures to help you go from having an idea but it's very like unformed and you feel a little bit scattered to fine tuning it and figuring out where you're aligned is less than a three hour process and what you can cover in those three hours as I walk you through it step
from brainstorming, to deciding to discerning to eliminating to coming up with an action plan. So really Powerful course, had a couple people test it for me and they
said it sounds like it feels like I'm right by their side and also it helped
them see things in a different way they hadn't considered before. It's on my website. It's called getting it done. I forget what it's priced at $45 I think.
Yeah. So if you're interested to check that out.
Okay. Thanks for listening. I'm really excited for this year 2020. It's going to be amazing.
Oh, yes, absolutely. So thanks
for listening. And until next time, keep on dancing. Bye.
