Performance by Poly in Frames
4:00AM Jul 29, 2020
Hey, it's midnight here in Eastern Daylight Time. We are with hackers on planet Earth. h o p 2020. We are at the beginning of the fifth day at the end of the fourth day. And what a day it's in. I think we found a lot of people have been enjoying many, many talks today. The workshops have been spectacular. We have villages where you can check in the villages are long running, they're running right now. There's a lot of things going on. I'd like to start playing our midnight session, but we're not quite ready for this yet. So I'm going to go away for just a couple of minutes. Then we will come back and I will announce our winner performance because we have a announced performance. It's going to be in just a few minutes. Stay tuned.
While we're back, we had to queue up this next video. So unfortunately, Bolsover is not going to be with us this evening, we might be able to get bowled over back again, during the rest of the week, this is to be determined. We had a bit of a scheduling issue. I do have a some content that I think is going to be very good. So let me tell you a little bit about it. And then we'll get it fired up. It's how long is it for us to do we get the timing on Ah, it's pretty long, though. It's pretty long. I think it's close to an hour. So so this is a performance by performer known as Polly in frames. And this was a neat reference that we got via DJ Spock. DJ Spock, I'd like to thank has been really helping to coordinate performers, which essentially we're starting at midnight, New York time throughout the conference, and DJ Spock as a DJ set coming up a little later in the week. So you want to Tune in for that as well. So because Moldova was having scheduling difficulties, he solicited a submission from Pauline in frames, also known as the wheat eat dance collective. And I'll read you the abstract here is only two or three sentences because I haven't yet funded program. Pauline frames otherwise known as we tweet eat dance collective is a well known artist at the eight quality parties in Hamburg. His cult like noises that sounds like Gameboy NAS Amiga c 64. And childhood. He never fails to get in the hearts of his audience and to make them dance like never before. Since 2015, he works together with drummer visit Gali, who performs his program drums live on his drum set. And it just paste that description into the hope announcements matrix. So you might have seen it if you're paying attention to the announcements. There's also a couple of URLs to some of the some of the work And so with only one one further comment for us, thank you, you've been doing tremendous work, you've been producing essentially all of hope, since the very first moments
on the bad after that. You I might maybe watch the performance a little bit, by the way, the the performance of 53 minutes long. So
thank you. So there's every reason to hang around here and I see what we got coming up on the on the on video. First, I will be enjoying it with you. So let's, let's go ahead and get into it. We're going to enjoy Polly in frames. This is the last programming episode for the fourth day of hackers on planet Earth. And we will be back right for us.
Yeah, I'm gonna do a downlink change. So I changed the title on the dock. So there'll be a little bit of lag for everybody on the on the stream kind of seen at the top of the hour. And so then I'll play the video right after we come back. Okay.
Also a very slight delay and then we will be back tomorrow morning for day number five of hackers on planet and I am seeing
