Good morning everyone. I'm Adrian crawler and I am representative for Matthew X. I live in capital have been banner and I've been active in my in my communities since I've moved there. About 10 years ago I've been President of capital D Manor neighborhood association. I've been an officer and and V max. Friends of the Library lightweight amphitheater Finance Committee, among others. When I moved down to southwest Atlanta, I moved from midtown and saw such a difference in the way that the way the city is just a big difference is, straightaway. And I've met I've said, That's a lovely act that I thought, oh my gosh, we need we need to advocate and organize the community to, to make them that to make it a better place to live. So that's on my community side. On my professional side, I am a community health worker at Morehouse School of Medicine. And as I have been assigned for the past seven years to attend MBU, X, Y, and Z on a regular basis, to go get information from the community and also bring bring information. Such as such as already I've attended. I would say the majority of meetings and X y&z I'm also very familiar, I would say, an active neighbor and the US, V and T. Stephanie, what would I see some of the people in New York from those areas? And I think they would back it up on that. So I guess, my superpower is not is not my professional career, but my superpower that I can bring to this committee is my community engagement, my community contacts. I love that people are like, going into tabling at a at a community event and meeting people. And so that's, that's, that's a big reason why I want to be on this committee. Because I think I can bring a lot of those contacts and community engagement, knowledge and familiarity with the communities that I'm representing, to, to the, to the benefit of the of the committee. I also. So I assume that you're gonna ask me why, why I want to be on the CRB. And it's because I really want to, I believe that every interaction that the police have with the residents of Atlanta require respect. So in addition to the transparency that any government agency of US citizens, and accountability have to weigh in and said, I believe that they need to be accountable. But I think it needs to all come from a basic basis of mutual respect. And you, I think, I think every citizen, every police encounter any citizen, whether it's on the phone, or in person, there's that there needs to be respect. And and then the other way around to I think every encounter is that you need to give the benefit of the doubt. And that's that's hard because we need to build trust that we build trust with between the police and the community. But I think we need to really advocate for there being the basis of respect for the police officers trying to do their jobs. And that's that's my philosophy.
