But then also, if you're brand new to podcasting, I'm going to skim through a few practical steps for you to launch your podcast. So I'm not a huge fan of New Year's resolutions or word of the year or setting intentions. Just because I know that 365 days of one particular goal is not going to work for me. I am more of a short term person. I know that sounds so crazy. But I really love the idea of like having a 30 day goal or just more attainable because I tend to lose focus when there's not a clear end in sight. And I know that sounds really silly, especially for like a word of the year. But I just wanted to start this podcast out with that tidbit about me. With that being said, though, New Year's offer a blank slate for me, I love hitting reset on things. I love being able to say like, you know what, let's throw everything out that we've done and start fresh. And that's kind of how 2024 is gonna look for this podcast and my brand. Because a lot of things have changed in the last year. Now in 2023. I did a few things that I want to highlight in this episode. Number one is I did not prioritize this podcast that's changing for 2024. I went on a break, which I don't regret doing. I did not release episodes for a couple of months. And then when I did come back, I came back slowly and sporadically which I do not recommend. But it was just what I could commit to doing at the time. Now as a podcaster who is doing my own production at this time. That was kind of all I could do. But things are changing for this year. We are going to be very intentional about how often we're publishing it's going to be weekly. Sometimes we'll throw in bonuses here and there. And that is something I really wanted to do as a blank slate change in 2024. So we're doing it. We are starting out weekly podcast episodes this week. So if you are ready for podcast education, make sure you hit that subscribe button on your favorite podcast player. Now, the other thing that changed towards the end of 2023 is I invested in a new brand. So I hired a brand designer to come in, and I am in love with my new branding, there are still a lot of things that I need to like go in and update. But for the most part, my brand is finalized and Gaffin. Creative has a new logo, a new look. And I'm really excited to share more about that as I like to an official launch, but you can head to Gaffin creative.com and see the new branding and what that looks like there. But with that comes the idea of hitting reset on this podcast, because when you are planning a podcast, you're creating a lot of things, you're creating a message, you're creating artwork, you're doing a lot of things for your podcasts that really sets the brand. And because I got a new brand, I also need to look at my podcast. So I have temporarily updated my podcast cover art, will it stay that way forever, I don't know. It was more so of just I'm launching this new brand, I need my cover art to match it. So that is there. But I also wanted to do almost not an audit, but a brand refresh of this podcast. So as I was doing it, I was like, You know what, I'm going to host another podcast planning challenge. I hosted one in June of 2022. Gosh, that's been so long ago. But I hosted one back in June of 2022. And it went really, really well with my audience. And so I was like, You know what, I really want to do this. Again, I want to do it for new podcasters. But I also want to invite existing podcasters that come in, do the challenge with us as well, and refresh their podcast. Because if you started your podcast more than six months ago, things could have changed. So it might be time for you to do that. So if you're interested, make sure you head over to Gaffin creative.com forward slash challenge. That's where I'm hosting the podcast planning challenge. And you can grab access to that with a workbook for $9. Now,
