    So first of all, we're really excited that the Vice President is visiting our city and underscoring, in particular addressing issues around child poverty, because so many children in New Haven need that kind of boost and support, in short, to ensure that they have a productive future life. If we don't invest now, then we're going to have many more challenges in the future. Have

    you thought about how the city is going to take in and spend the billions or millions of dollars you're expected to get for what for childcare in your K 12 schools

    or New Haven Board of elders come up with a community conversations around how we're going to spend this money. We want to make sure that it's a long term investment that we don't just spend it on this one time opportunity, but the invest in things that are going to give back for many years to come. So everything from broadband to job training, investment in minority owned businesses, to investment our children's so that the funding will give back for decades to come.

    Is there a message that you really want to communicate to the vice president today or her administration,

    one of the most important things is stay the course keep going? We're seeing incredible results now on the vaccine on the economic support that we desperately needed to get out of COVID and beyond. And so my message to her is, stay the course and keep having the impact that you're having
