I guess it's my turn. I'm really sorry to see you go off your CDAC Miss Edwards. It's extremely difficult to get people to participate in the boards and commissions that we have in the communities little tiny town at 900 people. And over the last few years since 2013. When I was on the planning commission, one of the challenges that we had is getting people to participate. I do understand that the CDA C's came with the last charter, and that there wasn't a lot done with the CDA C's and it might have been frustrating to kind of wait to try and figure out what did you do next? I would hope that you would at least as a leader in that group, help next person? Maybe they have an opportunity to get more active. I had an opportunity to walk with Miss Monica this weekend. That's something that's really important to hear from the citizens and give feedback directly to the mayor's office. That's really the only way that we're going to do it. Everybody in their own little cluster. It's difficult for us to communicate our pain points. Mr. Bennett, Reginald Bennett lives down here on California Street and his house was hit by a car a few months ago and it was warm. And then a couple of days ago, we had somebody speeding down Oakland that almost hit his house a second time that Mr. Bennett has put boulders up around his house. But the concerns that people that live off of Oakland have with speeders, it's different than what somebody might have on third. And so that's what the CDA sees do they elevate the level of conversation I was in your district today for the power outage. And I got calls from some of your neighbors to say as soon as the power went out, AJ, the power's out and its input from the actual citizens that keep us on our toes. It was a cascade of phone calls from the citizen to me from his Manica to me. I was able to get over to downloads manager on downs manner and talk to Mr. derail read and get a real understanding of some of the challenges that they face over there how they've been plagued by problems since the Housing Commission fell apart. But that information can't get up to people in the administrative offices without the help of the black clubs and the CDAC. So I'm sad to see you go but you know, you can be a resource for people. Mr. Harvey, there was a WebEx in January, put on by the Michigan regulatory Association. I mean administration about medical marijuana for municipalities. They provided a lot of information to elected officials. I was on a call. The clerk was on the call. They're moving at the pace appropriate to do it, right. Unfortunately, the city was sued a few years ago, there was somebody who wanted to put their own ordinance on the books that totally disrupted the process in 2019. If you notice in 2019, the mega companies came in from California and Colorado. And because we were in litigation, the previous city council did not have the logistical latitude to move. And so our city got stuck in the mud. And so it's taken a lot for that process to get out there. The city is working diligently on trying to make that something that's viable for those people in our community who actually want to be in that business. It's a very sticky situation, but 67 days we've been in office, so I would ask that this this latest group of government officials that you'd be patient with us, and I'm sure people will get the information out to you shortly. So I made it a point during the previous cities city council meeting, to say that I would prefer not to put people's personal business out in city council. In fact, in a discussion about the border review, someone made the mistake of perjuring themselves. They made an improper statement in an effort to sway the vote, and that is a crime. That's a federal crime and the clerk I'm sorry, to treasurer came on and admonished that person, and based on my knowledge of the law, and my experience studying law. I did not want to see a person who might have been passionate about something perjured themselves and so I asked the clerk I interrupted and I said, please stop with the information that she has, she could have gone on and it would have created a greater framework for that person who had perjured themselves. But I didn't want to do that, because I thought it was inappropriate to bring personal matters into city council. But you guys all have a document in front of you and I want you to look at the word
