use like a live experience to motivate you. I basically did the training camp bonus rounds, because on December 14, which at the time that you're listening to this is tomorrow, my Kajabi plan ends, which means by December 14, I need to have all of my shit off of Kajabi and into my new platform, which is circle. So what I decided to do was let me do a round of training camp where everyone's starting at the same time, and use that as like an accountability thing for me to just rebrand. And post the new recording of all the training camp modules just like one every other week, because that's the normally I would have them drip out anyways. So I don't need to do it any faster than that. That way I can work through rebranding and updating all of the training camp content over these next four months. And then that's going to land us in December. And at that point, I'll have the aligned business portal drop for those people. So they can go straight from training camp into aligned business portal, test that and it will be like so much content for these people. But more importantly, it's a way for me to do it, where I'm not trying to do everything at once. And also I have actual people in the door who I'm creating for, which I just think makes everything easier. And it was kind of like an accountability partner in a way because like, I needed to have it done because I told these people, I was gonna do it for them. So that's what I did. So okay, let's see, I scheduled myself to start working on it after that launch. So if you are like, Okay, I know that I want to put this, I know that I want to do this offer, you know, in 2023. But I need to figure out all the specifics of it so that I can plan it, you actually don't, what you need to do is set a time when you think you want it to have it done. And then just backtrack from that. And like schedule time to plan. So what I did was I was like, Okay, I know that I'm going to do this thing, but I'm going to let people beta test in December. So let me just get through the launch of the bonus round of training camp, start working on that content. And then after the launch, for that bonus round, simply schedule myself to just start planning for it. So I basically planned like planning windows and then like execution window and and just like very vague tasks. So like I just put in us on on on my calendar like this is the day that I want to create the plan for the aligned business portal. You don't need to know what all the details are and plan everything at once. You can sometimes just plan planning time. So for whatever that's worth. And basically, as soon as I started working on it, I started talking about it. Now I had an advantage that not everybody has, which was I was using the same process that I was then going to teach. Right, I was creating a new offer. And the offer that I was creating was about creating a new offer. So me just doing going through my own process of how I create new offers was also kind of fueling the content and also it was making it a lot easier for me to talk about it. So I want to acknowledge that like if you're not in a business to business kind of industry, you don't have that same advantage that I do if you are in a business to business industry and you are creating something where the content is related. to what you do, then I say, use that advantage because people want to see what you're doing. Like, that's why I create behind the scenes episodes of this podcast, because people want to hear about it, they want to know about your process. And if you can just let them in, like, just kind of pull back the curtain, it is a really easy way for you to start marketing. But regardless whether you have that kind of extra little leg up, I guess or not, you need to start talking about stuff way earlier than you think. So I tell people all the time, I'm like the second thing, you know that you're going to be offering something, as long as you're not promoting something else, start talking about it. So don't talk about everything that you have coming up at the same time. But like talk about the thing that you know that you're going to be promoting, as soon as you know that you're going to be promoting it. Because what you're doing is you're allowing people you're giving people a heads up about what's coming so that they can start to pay attention if they want to. And to get the details as you go along about is this for me? Is it not for me, different people have different processes that they go through to make buying decisions and need different amounts of time. And there's nothing I feel like there was once this time on the internet where people thought that they needed to keep their stuff like secret until they launched it. And that's not it's not true. Don't keep things secret, please don't keep things secret, tell people what's coming down the line. And I think that that was a big part of why so far, I mean, I consider five hours of being open for enrollment with five enrollments to be great for me, considering the size of my audience and my email list and stuff. It's a really high conversion rate for me, but I think that I also who knows, like where I'll be at the time that this comes out. But I think that this offer is going to do really well. And I think that a big part of that is the fact that I started talking about this really, really early. So people have known that it's been coming for a long time. And because of that when it came, it was like a whole bunch of people had already made up their mind. So as I was talking about it, here's the other piece as I was talking about it, I started getting questions from people. So I get emails and a couple people DM me on Instagram, and asked me like, I'm in this position, do you think that it's going to help me with this? Are you going to address this, and that is what I created my bonuses off of? So people were asking me about specific things that they were kind of concerned like, am I gonna get this? Is it gonna address this? And I was like, Oh, well, it doesn't fit into the content itself. So in some instances, I just made sure to speak to those things as I was creating the content. But in other instances, I created entire bonuses. So there's like a bonus workshop in the portal that is called like how to stick to your ideas and not waffle when it's time to sell. That's because somebody DMS me and said, my problem is I always waffle and it's time to sell. And so I asked her a few questions about like, what does that look like for you? And I literally just created the bonus based on that. So okay, so how do I go about creating it? So the first thing that I did actually was I got crystal clear on Well, first of all, I had my my bathtub epiphany. Okay, so that's actually the first step. And that, like I said, like, your intuition is going to drop little, like diamonds in your lap and little kernels of ideas and like, listen to them, because they are coming up for a reason. You might listen to them and realize, oh, that came from some other motivation. And it's not the or it's not the time for that or no. Okay, that dropped into my lap. And now that I'm looking at it a little bit more, no, but like, sometimes though, you're talking yourself out of a really great ideas, because you think it's not what you quote unquote, should be offering. So again, this is why I start the aligned business portal with kind of getting you in the headspace of just accessing those ideas and starting with that little kind of kernel of an idea. So that was the first thing that I did, then I sat down and I went through what I think my people who would be perfect for this offer, what I think they're kind of experiencing, and what I think they are doing to try to move through it. And then like what I would want to tell them about that this is a process that I walk you through in the portal as well. And then once I got clear on that, and I knew who the people were now this is not something that we do in the portal. This is like totally optional. And to be honest with you. I didn't do this for a very long time. And I don't think you need to do this. But I'm at a point right now where I know that I can stay grounded in my own ideas and also hear the feedback so I can do this. If you're not at that point and hearing from somebody oh you should do this is going to make you is going to like send you into a tailspin of questioning your ideas do not do this. But in my instance, I got on a couple of calls with people in my queue. Unity, who had already told me, I'm not ready for training camp yet. But I'm wondering if you've ever considered doing something like this, or I'm not, I'm not ready for training camp yet. But I know that you're putting this out there. And I'd be interested in in being like an early kind of tester or something like that. So I got on calls with those people. And I basically just ask them questions like, what are the what are the things that are holding you back. And I, it confirmed for me a lot of the things that I already knew. But what it also allowed me to do was get their language for how they were talking about the problem that they were having. Because it's really easy to start talking to people in your language as the expert in what you do, and you end up talking directly past them, they don't understand what you're saying. So it can be really helpful to kind of get their language.
