for the warm up session.
So why are they here? Are you ready?
Yes sir. All right. So here we go.
Hello and welcome to seven sentinels. This is Grandmaster Flash and I'm Peter Simon with you. Today we are conducting speaking sessions on this platform classical corrections we have here with us why they he cooperate from Dublin, Ireland originally from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. This is a speaking one obsession.
These are the daily dosage profession specific speaking materials and nursing profession specific speaking tasks.
Why they he'll cooperate Can you please tell me something about yourself? In three to four sentences?
Yes, sir. Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. It gives me immense pleasure. By the way, my name is Vijay Coakley. And I'm 37 years old. I'm an India Indian and I came from a city called Mumbai in north India, my mother tongue is Marathi. But I can also speak Hindi and English and I love my country because I'm patio battered by nature. Right.
Why did you choose nursing as your profession?
Yeah, so there are several several reasons to choose nursing as a profession. First of all, it was my childhood dream to become a nurse. And besides, many of my relatives are nurses and their stories inspired me a lot. And furthermore, like nursing is a profession has oceans of portunities in the both native and abroad and above all, like nursing is nursing profession is like service oriented, and where I can say, you know, serve the humanity so I chose nursing.
What is your fundamental reason for taking the occupational English test?
Oh, yes, it is my actually long term ambitions to be a nurse working in the urban of the European country and it is a fundamental requirement in this country to be as a registered nurse. And the second thing is, quality is in the OT we are dealing with no real life, real life of the health scenarios, so it a better understanding and that's why I choose
which country is your most favorite destination? For migration and work? I guess
my favorite country. My favorite destination is Ireland, as it has a world class health system and the facilities and you know the Ireland I would have like get like a greater possibilities are there to explore myself there. So I this is my favorite car like you know my destination comment
on the special qualities of the contemporary nurses.
Yes. As a nurse, I would like to give a bunch of advices to the upcoming nurses like to be dedicated and truthful, what they are doing. Secondly, be passionate, be compassionate towards their work towards the service they're providing and to update their knowledge because technology is so look creating. So we have to be like updated with your all knowledge. So these are the advice I would like to give them to the coming nurses.
What is the regular routine of an ideal nurse?
I am mostly like mostly our day starts with the taking handover from the previous staff nurse followed by the inventory check then doctors around now then like giving the medications checking the vital signs of the patient. And like this way the whole day goes and it ends with the giving the handover to the premier next tasks.
This is Adrian
Luton for the nurses as
far as your profession is concerned who is your role model.
My role model is my mother because she's really caring very soft hearted. And I have seen her always serving the people who is in need she always give the priority and whatever she can do she always gives and her service is like inspired me always to be so kind and so the manatee so I prefer my mother is my like role model for my life for my chosen career everything.
Yes, that's very nice. Talking to you. Thank you very much. It was a good warm up session.
Thank you so so
why they he called Let me give you some feedback regarding the present session.
Right. You have said the Ireland No.
You cannot say you have to save the United Kingdom but it's just Ireland. Okay. There are particular island that is there are many islands and one particular island we are talking about like Okay, so you cannot say the island you have to say Island. Okay. The teacher is that particular teacher. There are many images that particularly the island means there are many islands in one particular now there is only one island that's what so no need to somatically Okay, mystery, and then you are very confident that's not a problem, but I don't know why there is some sort of feeling in your heart and bring in some sort of a hesitation. I don't know why, but that's bothering you come out of the you know, you're speaking everyday you're speaking to everyone. That's not a problem for petrol for you. So the gentleman de France to be fair to yourself, no need of any hesitation as you're speaking in your everyday life like that you have to speak you're already in Dublin and we are speaking every day in English. So there is no problem there is no problem. So no need to worry about anything just to speak out straight. Number one,
and your tone is flat. Your tone is flat. That means you're talking like this. Yesterday I went to the market to buy some vegetables. Yeah.
There is no you know, yesterday I went to the market to buy some vegetables. So this is something given something the hunt said something musical something learning something up and down. This is called height. You know, intonation, stress, rhythm, rhyming a lot of things and they're here. So
what are you going? Where are you going? Where are you going? What are you going? Yeah. What is your? What's your name? So flat tone,
you have to notice the difference between flat. This is just because our
fear, fear or anxiety could we Yes, nothing else
you're very excellent No problem. See everyone has some areas which are weak. So that hesitation is a weak you are very competent, subject wise, language wise, vocabulary wise, grammar wise pronunciation, lot better than many students. Of course there are many other students who are even better than you. But that's not the matter here. So why do you feel that anxiety? Why do you feel that hesitation and tension or worry, you're doing well just to do your work, do your role perform your role? And that's an exempt. That's enough, I think, to worry and then okay. So housekeeping. UNC is fine accuracy is okay. Grammar, right. So other than that, nothing else problems, no problems. I did not know this. But when I get your audio then automatically forget everything. So it will be and I'm going to show you all those things. And then here
of course there are there
are slight occasion there are some occasions where you add some pauses and breaks. But unnecessary words are not their length is fine. Then what you have to do is you have to practice speaking, you can take one reading and take my whatsapp and just open up the audio message. Okay button Okay. Message button and just read it out loudly. That's the only way how you can practice improve speaking as naturally as possible. Then next what you can do is you can try
what you can try is
some television channels like CNN NBC, CBS, ABC, ABC and some major channels. Then you can go there and you see number of native speakers speaking. So stick take a sentence catch one word and one word in the good pronunciation. Pronunciation is fine, but it should be refined still even for them. It's better, to be the best so try your level best. And then next, second today word to me sentence one word, you get it speak. Then second today what you can do is catch two words and speak on the third day. Speak because two words, two days and on the third day catch three words at a time in the morning in the morning. In the monitor is what is strange in the morning in the morning. So it's some style you learn. You learn see not human like
you will learn. Yeah. So the tone
automatically because we do not know how to speak. So when we try to repeat the native speakers, automatically you'll get the tuning fine tuning. So I normally speak in the morning
in the morning
you will listen to them and you repeat the three words collaborate together to form a unified pattern with stress and you know up and downs that you know. So that's very important. So that is how you will improve that's You're fine, you're fine, you're fine, but you need to be refined. So that's what I'm changing.
The next one is you're doing well.
That's fine. The next one is that fear and when you see to see that the light is in front of you not behind you. Okay, because we'll be watching you. So you know that Amiens look at all see your face like that. We'll see that that that's everything fine. Then there are three options here now. First, what I'll do is I'll train you as I have trained for speaking this warmup. Then I will ask you to prepare then you will come and do the performance here the live session and then I will record it. Now I my autopilot is already there. Simon's autopilot my artificial intelligence is there. It is already typing all your words. And these will come for you. And I'll make it a PDF and send you I'll give the length of the author site my other site and that link you can go there and you'll see how we are speaking and all the words are coming along with that one. If there is something you spoke and something else is written that means your pronunciation is a problem. If you say lacking and I will type lagging. That means your pronunciation would not match. So you pronouncing wrongly or something. You're saying a lazy K ing and it is typing hola GG ing. There's a mistake. So you will know that on Discord you will not see I told lacking in it is lighting lacking that means there is something problem with my pronunciation. You can rectify those words, how you're pronouncing, sitting, sitting, you're saying I am sitting and it is typing sitting as EA T ing. So that means it's a mistake is sitting and sitting. So like the pronunciation can rectify. Is it a long oval or a short word? So that's how you will improve your check performance and check your performance.
The next one is next one is
the video I have put the video already on the YouTube you can go to the YouTube and you can see the performance how you're speaking whether silencer is speaking, does he have fear? Does he have tension, self confidence what he has and why I'm not able to have that confidence. Why am I anxious? So now what you can do is you can pick your radio, phone, start your video, put it in front and you try to speak then afterwards you check your recording. Okay, take your recording so you will improve your confidence level like that when you record your own video. Okay, and you take your own video then you will see what are the problems no one is better judge for you than yourself. So that's what I tell you. There next when the video is there, you can go there and all my suggestions you did not write but these are already tightened. So you need not write any of my suggestions. They will come as a lecture will come as a PDF some as a document a book in your name. So, three pages book it will come into your name along with the pictures and the questions and the slides and everything. So, you can go through that one and see what are the suggestions given underline that one put number one number two, this is for examples have told what no definite article before the name of the country. So you should not use the before the name of a country like England that's all no though. England, Ireland Northern Ireland, India, northern India, okay, like there is number one, then tune what is the tone is a flat tone. So how should my tone be sort of like that? You make some points like that, based on my suggestions,
yes. Definitely. So,
so other than that, everything is fine. Now coming to the point. Now I want you to give your feedback regarding this session. Are you happy with the session what extent what inspired you What motivated you earlier how we were hesitating. And now how do you feel? Are you comfortable with the style of picture is a personal session I cannot call everyone is not a good session. It's you. You're very You're very special for us. So that's why we are giving time personal time and we are training others can watch on the YouTube no problem. So that's it. Yeah, you come on. You have one minute, two minutes but
yeah, of course this session is very beneficial because as per the last session, I heard it, like the recording the YouTube and I found myself the pronounciation is not that clear. So this time I was like you know little bit conscious while talking to pronounce properly so it will be fluctuating my video and the script. But it makes me like little bit in a flat tone because of my concentration. But I will make sure that I will follow your advice and I will do the corrections accordingly in me and I hope the next video will be more better than this and I will fulfill your expectation as well. To make you happy is like my you know
make me happy as well. Yeah, but it was right now
I have while you were speaking I don't know the two points. One is you said pronounciation situation. It's a mistake. Pronounce is correct. But it is pronunciation not pronunciation. You will. You will be the last
question pronounced pronunciation
Yeah, that one mistake you have done. So next, who did not know maybe do you know? No. So you know now before you know now next second thing is you said more better, more better. Better itself is competitive. Then why more my wonderful those words which you cannot use er then you use more like beautiful. You cannot say beautiful, more beautiful. Good, better. Er is already there in that one then why do you want to use more? More better, better is already there. So there is a mistake second mistake. So this is the way how I'll give you mistakes, not done these mistakes and learn to practice it without mistakes. And next time I should not hear these two mistakes and I remember I can forget your name but I don't forget these things because they are already implanted in my brain okay, because I don't forget the name much I bother about the mistakes much. So that is my priority. So next time if you speak I already remember. Okay, so the next one, right? Yeah, many of your friends maybe who want to who are interested like you and wants to study with me. For example, they want to know many people asked me said give us a demo that this but I don't use demo sessions. I never give demo sessions. We are using a long back but now I don't so for them, such people who want to know about me. What do you think you are studying? You are studying for the last one week me and how do you feel the difference? Is there any benefit? What Why do you? I Am? I Am My name is Satya Lakshmi. My name is Phil actually, I'm your friend. I'm asking you. I want to join some odd Training Center and I want to prepare myself. Can you guide me or suggest me a good Institute or a training? So you wonder, Oh, maybe you want to suggest a grandmaster blood and Simon Peter? Why? Why do you want to suggest you can tell me some reasons?
Because before I joined like two three Institute's and I really found this is something as unique what you are teaching the the way you're teaching like the minute and my like you know minute things which is negly integrated and neglected. With by by us and sometimes they are not focusing as you are giving the time, like full your time and and the quality, the quality of your teaching. is one of the best part of this. Like classes were a which I never found in other where I was, you know, enrolled before in other classes. The and I'm definitely am I'm definitely sure that they will improve and what is lacking I found from you like the my writing my did a reading the way you are teaching the to analyze to find the answers that is more and the vocabulary you're giving and to relay synonyms you're explaining during the listening test or reading test or the grammar mistakes so they improve us in the during the speaking as well. So overall is really beneficial. So i That's why I can suggest Grandmaster classes to everyone who is looking for ot classes
Yeah, thank you very much. That's
really nice of you to share your feelings. Why do we ask these things because we want to improve our quality. Maybe it is good. Maybe it is not better maybe it is not the best. So we want to grow from good to better to best so that your training will be outstanding because you are very precious we tried to do on the best time so that you are improvement can be noticed ish, and that you will get success in the long run.
