Let's say you're talking to a subject, mentor, and new to the role or the mechanic for a while, maybe, what would you say to them if there were three things you'd want them to do or be for you.
Number one, be really, when they turn up, and I think most people do, but accepting that they're going to be probably terrified and actually really encouraged them and be like, it's okay to be terrified and actually have a conversation and really support them through especially at the beginning, and be open as well. Like they might bring something that you think oh, that that's not a big issue, but that might be an issue for the trainer to be open to that conversation. And also, just just supportive like and also working on the relationship with that end as well. Because not just the trainee, they also need to be like, working on it and checking checking in on people especially wellbeing isn't necessarily just about oh, how that lesson though, like, every day then he's like, how are you? How are things going? You know, and I've had one of my lesson plans, she was like, you're very good look a lot better. You looked a bit stressed last week because you actually are, how are you feeling now? And I'm like, No, I am okay. So we all have difficulty checking in on that as well.
