Welcome to Just curious media. This is let's talk Cobra Kai. I'm Jason Connell.

And I'm Sal Rodriguez.

All right. So once again, you sound kind of far away, because we're doing a very quick phone call connection to update our audience.

Yeah, this is a very interesting time right now. I've watched nine episodes of season three. I think you watched all of them already.

I have seen the entire season three, five episodes on Friday, five episodes on Saturday. And I'm still reeling from it, Sal. I can't believe how good it was exceeded my expectations.

Yeah, to me, I would really liken it to a roller coaster ride. It's like an actual ride. And now I was different than you though. I didn't do five and five. I think I did three than I did three than I did two. Now I have one left. I need to process it. I need to make sense of it all I need recovery between episodes. I know I need to be. I need to be ready for it. I mean, this is the last episode of season three, we've been waiting so long for season three. Here's the last episode. You know, I want to savor it like a good dessert.

I couldn't control myself, I'm sorry. But here's why we're reaching out to the audience. And dropping this quick update is because Sal and I are back in the studio tomorrow next week. And I like to under promise and over deliver. So at the very least we're going to be releasing one new episode per week of season three of Cobra Kai on our podcast. Let's talk Cobra Kai. And if we hit a rhythm and somehow do more than one a week, hey, that's a bonus. But at the very least you'll get the one. We're super excited to share our thoughts, insight and everything else about each episode with you all.

Yeah, I just want to remind everyone, we got no advanced copies. So we are watching it on Netflix, just like everybody else. Believe me in a perfect world, we would have dropped 10 episodes at 1201 right after Netflix dropped 10 episodes. So unfortunately, we're having to kind of do this as we can, based on our availability and based on the actual schedule brought to us by Netflix, or really specifically Johnny Lawrence. Yeah,

thanks, dialogs, we should have asked him for an advanced copy a press copy, if you will. So maybe Season Four that's in store. We don't know if we could do that and have them all ready to go and drop them at the same time. That would be incredible. But we watched it with everyone else, which is kind of cool. So it's nice to know that all of the fans were all delving in together and spoilers are all over the internet now so you better watch it so you can avoid any sort of spoilers if you will.

Oh, no, you know, when you when you're when you're at this place in time with a series, spoilers are like landmines on the internet. You really I'm serious. You know what, just yesterday, just yesterday, my girlfriend was reading me. She goes, Oh, here's an article about Kumiko she starts reading the article. I was like, no, no, no, no. And then she read something that was so insignificant, and yet it was a mini spoiler. I was like, no, no, I don't want to know how many episodes she's in. I don't want to know anything. You know, let's wait until the end. So believe me, I am not even going online until I see episode 10.

Well, while I have you here, Sal, here's what happens in Episode 10. No, just kidding. I would never do that to you.

I swear my brains short circuited when you said that I was like, I was like in a different different dimension when you said that?

No, I wouldn't do that to yourself. Of course. I would never fact when we first started this whole venture season one season two of Cobra Kai, I'd already seen them all you were doing them one at a time as we did a podcast. So no spoilers for me.

When we did seasons one and two of the let's talk Cobra Kai podcast. I was right there. Like if I was doing season one, episode three, I had not seen season one, episode four. I was right there. You know, I was at that place in time. This time, we are going to record season three and I will have seen the entire season. So it's going to be sort of a new energy for me. I'm interested to see how it's gonna go.

Well, we're gonna circle back around and do notes on each episode. So that's going to help me get refocused because I don't want every episode to then bleed into the next episode. So we'll have to show great restraint and tackle one episode at a time because they all work on their own and of course, collectively they make for this incredible series. So it will lead up to our grand finale, season three episode 10 of Let's Talk Cobra Kai, it'll culminate into a great finish, which will leave us hanging for hopefully a season four but let's not get into that at all. Let's just take what we have and enjoy it.

Well, I'm excited. These episodes are amazing. I mean, they they went above and beyond. I mean, after season two, I thought where are they gonna go? How are they going to beat this? Oh my gosh, season three. They go all over the place. Really? I probably cried a few times. I I definitely got a lot of great laughs. I sat there with my jaw open many times, an amazing season and very excited to talk about it on our podcast.

I am to kudos to the creators, the writers, the actors, the crew, Netflix, everybody, YouTube, Sony, everybody involved because like I said in the beginning, it far exceeded my expectations, the bar has been raised even higher if that was even possible. So we're super excited to delve into each episode. So that's what we'll be doing. And really quickly, I just wanted to also mention that sound, I do this podcast because we love the show, of course, but we also love our fans. And we really want to see if we can take our show to new heights this season. So really, we always ask people do the obvious thing, subscribe, rate and review. But in all honesty, we truly need our fans to just give us a five star review on Apple podcast. It's a simple thing. It's like one second, but that can make such a big difference for a bootstrapped StartUp podcast company doing a show about Cobra Kai. And also, if you get a chance, please subscribe because subscriptions mean, you have automatic downloads, and it definitely helps our numbers

we do appreciate. Every interaction to me is appreciated. I mean, especially the comments, all the things that create this dialogue between us and our listeners. I really value and it's very important to us. So keep it up. Get involved with us. We're reaching out to you reach out to us. Yeah, and you know, what about this? Show us some mercy. How about that.

There you go. Cool, iconic style. So yeah, that's really it folks. Just a quick update. Sal and I will be back very, very soon. this coming week with at least season three episode one of Cobra Kai
