Welcome back to another city times broadcast of men's basketball between the 19 and for city knights men's basketball team against the 12 and 11. Southwestern College Jaguars. We're back finally after our long when these teams faced off on January 35th. The Knights cruised to a 97 to 60 victory at Southwestern, Vince, one of these teams win streaks is going to come to an end tonight. What do these teams need to do to avoid that loss? Well,

it's great to be back here again and the Knights are definitely glad to be back here had to do several of their practices in the last couple of weeks off campus due to weather so they're very happy to both be back home to practice this week. And to be back home in front of some of the home fans here at Harry with Jim. The Knights as you said, met again Southwestern on January 5, and Coach Charlton's made a reference to that in an interview we did yesterday, he said were two different teams now. Goes that was quite a while ago, they're playing better. They just beat Miramar on Friday, um, as you alluded to, and they're placed there number four in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference against number two San Diego City College nights. We to look at, we can look at for Southwestern guard Aiden lockets. His 10.7 points per game leads the Jaguars in scoring and then center. Caleb Wilson is someone else we're going to be looking at. He's pulling down almost eight rebounds per game lead the team. We were looking a little bit earlier at some of the stats. And Wilson is number one in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference in blocks at four. Little over four blocks the game, almost more than three blocks more than the number two and Pacific Coast Athletic Conference. So the Knights are really going to have some some could have some problems. They're going up against the big Caleb Wilson. He's also a great rebounder number six in the PCAC but the Knights have some of their own stars. Bradley KJ Bradley continues to lead offensively 18.5% points per game and six assists per game. He's leading the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference in assists per game and fourth and conference scoring so Dave Allen Alex Crawford also is another name for the nights that we've been seeing all season. And he's he's leads the team in rebounding almost seven per game contributing 14.7 points so I think if the the other another big thing to look at his scoring wise, the Knights score almost 1012 points more than the then Southwestern per game. So that's kind of what we're looking at. We're about to get into it. So that's right and forward to a joke.

although there is a rare case of good three point shooters that aren't that good at free throws none of those that has happened I can't think of any off the top of my head but I know there are a couple that shoot you know well known three point shooters and then shoot about the maybe in the mid 70s Or this you know still pretty good but not not Steph Curry good you

Pretty good points off of turnovers. San Diego is really taking care of those 13 points off of turnovers for the Knights seven for Southwestern. The other big disparities bench coming through for the Knights as we kind of alluded to earlier with that. Distributed scoring. Bench points. 21 so far for the Knights and 13 for Southwest are

thinking 66% from the field was good. How about 66%? From three? Yes, shooting well and they're not just two for three? No, they are. They are six for nine.

They're almost doubling up their conference average of three points. The Knights are new, they're averaging 34% from three shooting 66 here in the first half.

Putting some serious pressure on the Jaguars who started off strong they were winning for the first couple minutes in the game. And and we're finding their spots and those offensive rebounds are keeping them in it for a little bit but three here and three they're three here and a three there and all of a sudden yeah and

if you don't you know those offensive rebounds are great but if you do not convert those, you know, second chance points there. As you said they're only shooting overall 29% So

get as many opportunities as you want but if you don't make them not going to win the game,
