To do, because so we understand that's what we have to share about what happens, what about graduation? Hold of what about graduation?
Well, That's what it
i think i
We have All kinds particularly

and important to know this in Order, because the
leadership and department and divisions who work Hand in hand with this grant and each department I
sorry, will we
not find each support from it all of our initiatives, we have great ideas for students. They support us. So we're just friends. We work in priority to have that broad business, because that research is right, It would be, it would be along the Finance to finances, put on The Schedule they should
important, usually, said early on, I know we did have mentioned before in terms of our ecosystem of support services. We are just surrounded students. We surrounded potentially kind. From graduating and having to come back because they're looking for more opportunities, and that's what we are able to Do. Description there. We're talking about our university partnerships here.
Storage, for example,
this. After this wonderful story is a young lady who Incorporated, and she told us about them, a student. Not only did she now one of the best employees, and that's what he do. We go to
we love talking about even before they get here for our K 12 partnership.
We take that very seriously. Partnership. We take that very seriously, because we know we engaged. Not only are they allowed to graduate high school, but they're very long. That's probably
the biggest issue that we talk about every single day are pending. Well, we were there already, and they're kind of taken after us by going with the support services, where they're still racking
those are the things that, I think that we are showing our work, another huge issue we're able to point the students in the direction additional resources that they need to keep the price down, because it is very, very sensitive. There was a recent study out there because there's not Enough

well. We all know our familiar with our digital intelligence, of artificial intelligence being used to commit fraud prior to race law, particularly for community Colleges pandemic. What's
happening is that community colleges and for automated intelligence called and what they're doing is AI intelligence is how they're carrying institutions to keep financial aid and sophisticated enough to enroll in person, to apply to the colleges they've been gone so far,
to even show up in the classroom and do enough activity just to get beyond the normal federal reporting and So on this slide, you will see where the college you will see where it says, because, as you come.
Connect. Education talks about and they're getting behind the scenes are embedding themselves in our automated roles to connect them. Community College, created in terms of applying our students, California,

you're

And one of my colleagues, some institutions across
this case, intelligence have already dispersed. Money, and I can get back, including here in Michigan, at Macomb Community College, where, unfortunately, they were successful in other institutions as well, which is where some of the headlines are coming across. What we have to realize is the services and offerings that we have, and we're really excited about it, our gift of intelligence has a dark side. It also is inquiring more human resources camp in that Private security space where they robot and those application classes.
Company assignment and so a lot of villages, it requires a group of persons to be on top of people. Really doing well, the number and some of you i

I'll they're not sitting up. Not a good look. And like most of us, we were, we were terrified. So we were able to know whether that was a universal problem, whether we and not to be that excited when we found out. This largely around the foods that

results, of graduation, and at the core, the FBI reported on this issue for colleges, and colleges in particular, to overwhelm the system for colleges that are unbelief, the system for colleges that are earning resources to another, for example, some institutions are providing they're not going after those third party sources. They are reinventing them. AI is moving on to other
areas. Every day. I'm just overwhelmed with how, how but let me, I didn't do this. I wanted to introduce our new Vice Chancellor, Doctor Roger, was up for a while now, and he spent Some time at the community colleges. Are following, uh, do

relations. Thank you
very much. One of the things that we grapple with, definitely in education, and particular higher education,
more specifically, in the faculty, the faculty has to deal with a lot of AI today. Students don't have to write a paper. They don't have to write a paper all. They have to admit and give an AI, and the faculty has to be able to look at that. I want you to use your own creative knowledge and develop this type of paper, or develop the information you need. And I'm happy to have to be able to tell and because we want to teach this wonderful thing, I visit a young man from graduate school track. He said about the United States has always promoted improving information, improving on everything that everyone else talks highly about. This impact our
team? Impact our cyber security and risk management and our interest insurance coverage? No impact, because we are already contracted with an outside firm to look at by this issue. We're part of the risk management team at state level, larger than children.
Right now.

Reserve announced. This is the first rate cut since March of 2020 nearly four and a half years ago, during that highest interest rate has been increased 11 consecutive times with no reduction in an attempt to combat growing economy. The current rates are the one year rate is approximately 4% and the two to five year rate is an average of 3.4% after a market decline in 2000 8,000,000,010 year period, interest rates were less than 1% and most of the time less than half percent. Rates at 4% and some investments within our portfolio increase number four further reduction guidance implicated for the next two years as a market stabilizers
of actual revenue. 25 for the period August, 31 2023, and August, ready first, 2024, increases in tuition revenue due to increase in tuition referral. Tuition Revenue. We did increase the commission over August of last year. 14% is phenomenal. I anticipated 3% and currently we're at 14% not including anything that will happen this spring. I will be conservative and renewable at 14% right now, but we are hopeful that that will be even higher, just knowing a beer salaries under expenditures, over time, under practices, a difference of about 1.5 this is strictly related to a timing difference carrying A very monthly payroll, a high monthly payroll. Five monthly payroll is 26 payroll during the year. So you go to the anomaly, you will have three pay periods during the two months of the year, where family is two pay period. So we see within August of 2024 there were three payrolls that period in 2023 August of 2022 payroll for The comparison fiscal year 2025 as of August, 31 and August, or just have two months of activity related July 1 and as of June 30, 2025 so this is two months July and August. So we don't have a lot of activity and report, but again, I will highlight the 14% increase your very first planning report, reduction on targeting, targeted expenditures. There's nothing notable to discuss other areas, nothing, nothing remarkable or notable to thank you. General, General grant and contract represents our federal and state branch as well as our contract training opportunities and other grants. It represents about 15, $5.8 million in grant activity that we currently have in the fiscal year will be after the board to approve another grant opportunity tonight that we receive accountability and transparency staffing update given by uptake district together on.
A project information workshop related to HR, so we can take a look at first.
Dr Deborah, everybody
here for all their thoughts and prayers at night.
Thank that I want to make sure that you
have to all relate to The HR budget, the personnel, the approval budget, position, money,
campus leadership,
and have that conversation. I know we've been moving into moving people, awesome people, but what are we doing to actually help and provide the position? It's not the same old, same old. AI, you just mentioned a lot that doesn't affect one aspect of it. It affected how we look at job description and the responsibility and the role and how we do this. So we got to look at it from that perspective and say, You know what? You lost your
position. What can we do to be anything of that position and then fill that position in more strategic way. It's not about what you can do right now.
It is about what you do right now, but it's an actual term. It's what, how we're going to do, what you're going to do to be successful and sustainable, having these discussions and bringing back a Solid student. Mean negotiating union.
It's an opportunity to do better at work that happens only when you do how therefore do their job, but what I've asked girlfriends, what I've asked People, that's what we need to give them the resources.
Emergency Preparedness the city one is the critical incident mapping project. We are in idle pages right now. Maybe one day we can bring it here to the board to show you the. As a result of that? Well, that is almost done. That is the state grant that we receive all the Higher Education receive a grant to help with critical families, just to remind you what that is. A software system is allowed to go to all our service providers in each of our communities that we have a campus or a facility. And what that does is, to an emergency, they'll be able to bring that up into their vehicles. Or Now, if you don't understand the fire truck, now you have computers in their part of their truck too. You can't they can bring it up, and they'll know exactly. They'll know exactly what the level of core here district offices on fire. So they'll know exactly what he put into so that is almost done, so probably another 30 days of that project will be before that has moved on. That's a big project going to every building, every location, to verify where we have the other one is coming again on the call. Covid RFP season. Now it's up to four that we have to worry about. So again, the answers are providing masks. Everybody wants them. Hand sanitizers. We're constantly reminding going to wash their hands, all those traditional thing. But since we are all rolled back into the fall semester, it's 12 minutes rolled back in, we're kind of going to that fall season, which means we're all together, and there's Halloween party, and then there's Thanksgiving, and then there's the Christmas holiday, and then there's the new year. So we're all going to be tightly compared into old and other institutions. So just remember, now, if you haven't seen on the television, there have been four vaccinations. It's called salsa influenza and encoding. We should probably have a clear understanding right now that covid influenza, there's going to be just a different variant every year, and then vaccines are going to have to be classified to help with that. So that is where we ask. So again, we're monitoring it closely. We'll be looking at faculty. Good news is the faculty still have are receiving a cycle of shell so if there's something that happens to the faculty, we can convert down temporarily, over to Tiffany corny, reporting back to their interface program, so we are still well prepared like we were with covid. We have all those systems in place, but now we have a few other issues with those other diseases so long, so we are monitoring it very closely. Okay?
Process, yeah, we call it public health, respiratory, emergency respiratory, yeah, I we call it covid Just because we've been calling covid for a while. But, yeah, we might be able to look at a name change on it, because it's now four different respiratory diseases, and we're kind of PSK up equally. Worldwide. So, you know that's one thing is we travel, clearly, planes and everywhere else we go to you know, these things are easy to move around. Don't forget to Detroit. Yeah, virtually,
that further questions with respect to the agenda, if not, may I have a motion.
