So I wanted to tell you the story that stands out in my
past about dogs that do things that are really difficult for people to understand. And this particular German shepherd that I knew had been a survivor of almost losing his leg and the owner had put in a high tech, Wi Fi, shock collar system
and the dog was able to go into certain areas and had to stay away from certain areas. And then there were a few exits. What the dog decided to do was to go over the fence where the Wi Fi wasn't, but it was an eight foot tall fence that was wrought iron. The dog got stuck at the top and it skewered his leg.
And he was stuck up there until the owner got home. It was the most difficult thing for me to look back at and say that high tech dog training was a good idea.
