You know there's obviously a lot of work to do but it really is a lot of reasons to know that there is this reason, you know, I've met with Lisa there, and then with everyone from from entrepreneurs who have taken advantage of, of USA ID support, and have grown their business as a dnn as a small business, it's been about, oh good and then chocolate to a farmer, I met with these young entrepreneurs. One of them is in high school, young women won't believe they can do anything and even though, when you look at the numbers of purchase and repairs made by gender. It's an issue, indeed, all over the world and certainly here, but they feel a sense of hope. Why of this conversation, Why,
why did you emphasize that you would turn people away when you said that the root causes are, you know, very horrible violence and persecution that they would face when you turn them away.
I am here because the root causes are my highest priority in terms of addressing the issue and we need to, and we need to deal with it, both in terms of the poverty we are seeing the hunger that we are seeing the effects of the hurricanes and then climate extreme climate conditions. What we are seeing in terms of the pandemic one of the first conversations that I had when I arrived but even before it was about our sense of vaccine, some very clear about what our role and responsibility is we need to address the root causes and also be a few causes those that are more recent but also the long standing and just like corruption, that probably of any subjects that I had discussed today with, with all of the groups that is the number one issue aside from vaccines, and the pandemic. And that's why we're here to address those issues to hear from the people on the ground, and then to order our priorities in a way that reflects what capacity we have to actually affect the root causes the acute causes so that people have hope about staying in their own country. What do you want a person with AMLO tomorrow, what are you hoping to accomplish out of your meeting with AMLO tomorrow. Well one let's just look at his relationship with Mexico. We have a partnership, a long standing partner, If you know other than Canada, we are the closest neighbors. So there is that and that is the basis of this of this conversation that I will have with them to put that here, that we have to be partners that we are neighbors, most neighbors in the region around addressing as neighbors as partners, but Mexico's role can be as it relates to this region, the Guatemala, and the surrounding countries that do not have now, many companies with with with AMLO looks like Operador, and I look forward to having a conversation that is going to be in person, access isn't about the work we can do, and it's about economic engagement, both in terms of Mexico as a nation and what we can do, such as partnering on the issue of vaccines. I talked to him last week about a contribution, we're gonna make to Mexico. And there's a lot to discuss.
When did you emphasize that people should stop being critical of that sort of emphasis that you made, Alexandra is really clear we have to do with the response. And that is my phone. Let's send this. Let's send this link.
