Hey, welcome back to another weekly work with Jada Kay, I am so excited to come back and be before you all. It has been such a beautiful last couple of weeks for me. In the midst of tragedy in our nation in the United States, I've been able to find time to begin to sit with my grief, to begin to sit with our collective grief. As especially if you are a black person, the constant threat, and vicious evil of whiteness is absolutely devastating. And so, last week, I took some time off just to breathe. So that we could all take a collective breath together. So if you can't hear from the sound of my voice is early in the morning. But I wanted to just come down and pull some cards to get a word for us. And I hope that you are able to find something valuable in what I have to share today. Now we are looking at the world in reverse for our weekly guide. What's beautiful about the World card is it depicts someone floating in the sky with two ones in each hand. And there is like a wreath surrounding them. And this is just one of my favorite celebration cards is one of the cards that it should make you feel good when you see the world card, the World card is saying that you have come through this journey, you are at the end of this path that you've been walking, and it's time to celebrate. This is your graduation, this is your promotion, this is a way forward. We have the world in reverse though. And so while the world in reverse can point to delays, it can point to the fact that some of us may reach the end and realize we need to go back to the beginning or we need to go back to the middle there may be some lessons that we need to still pick up to still glean and to still integrate. But what I'm also getting from this world in reverse is that this is a time I think for inward introspection when it comes to our idea of completion. Our idea of success. Our idea of elevation progression, excellence if you will. The world in reverse for me is asking for us to pause before we move on for me is coming up as a car to say remember remember all of what you have just witnessed all of what you have just walked through and traversed. Go back to your beginning. Remember where you were. Be mindful of how much you have grown. Of all the people that you met all the skills that you gained and honed.
I know I tend to be a person who sometimes will skip ahead, go to the next one. I go to the next thing moving very quickly. But with a world in reverse, I feel like this is a time to reflect on those wins and also interrogate what makes the point where we are now celebratory what is it that we're actually excited about? Some people, I think, seem to think that we have reached this place of progression that we are living in this like post racial country reality and that is our delusion if we believe that the world is reversal for me is asking, how can we give back? How can we contribute?
So,
with that in mind, the car that I have pulled for the energy we should embrace is actually the two of wands. Which is interesting because, in the two of wands, we have an individual who's standing
in holding the world in their hands. And so, to me, this is an invitation to hold. to curate, to imagine a world that doesn't already exist. To imagine a reality that's not yet here. Now to imagine true liberation. To imagine the possibilities of what could be not as denilla Nichols says, not to imagine repackaged capitalism, or repackaged white supremacy. But to actually imagine a world in which chains no longer exist for anyone
to imagine ourselves in our wholeness and our fullness. Apart from the traumas that a patriarchal white supremacist queer phobic world has given us and so this person is standing on this ledge. They're looking out at what's in front of them. The landscape, the mountains, the water, the fields, the forests, the town, but they're holding in their hands, a new potential. For more. I see what is with my physical eyes, but I'm imagining what could be just like the person in the world card reversed. With these two wands in their hands. We have the person in the two of wands universe with two wands. So this tells me that the person in this two of wands has taken the lessons from this journey in the world card. And they're saying now I need I'm using was in my hand, I'm using what I took on this journey, this fool's journey. Well, I started from the fool, and I moved into the universe of the world. And now I hold the world in my hands. Now I received the keys from the hierophant. Now I have the wisdom and insight from the High Priestess. Now I have moved and had the change of perspective. In the Hanged person, I've moved through death, and been reborn. I had it out with the devil. I experienced the tower. I was catapulted to the skies, the star, I faced my fears and the moon card. I answered the call of judgment. And when I got to the world, I looked within myself and I saw possibility. And now I hold that in my hands. So how do we embrace this? Because the possibilities are endless? What is your most liberated dream for yourself? What is your most liberated dream for your community? For the people you love? For the people you know, and the ones you don't? For the most marginalized, Augustus does? What is your most liberated dream?
The card that represents how to embrace this dreaming and planning, we see in the two of wands, it's represented by the king of pentacles. Now, this is probably one of my favorite kings, the king of pentacles. is grounded. Why are they grounded, because they have been through this journey. They have been tried. They are true. They see and they understand and they know what's out there. And they have received the rewards for having won the game over and over and over again. This is a king who has much success. This is a king who understands, like data on the knuckles told us or teaches us that abundance is collective abundance, that is only for personal gain. Only suggest that someone has been exploited for you to experience the ease that you're longing for. But collective abundance, when we join together. No one is left out. And so the king of pentacles understands this now. And so we are to learn from this. We are to make sure that in our dreaming in our imagining, and our planning in our creating in our ideations
that we are thinking about liberation that we are thinking about collective uplift that no one is left behind. It's not just about getting the money in your bank account
is about tearing down the systems and the powers that be that will keep anyone from having what they need.
The king of pentacles for me is someone with wisdom and a track record. And I always want to go back to our beautiful All with wise tried and true ancestors because they have lived this life, they have walked this journey and we have gratitude for them. Because now as they are elevated and as they are lifted up, and as they are venerated and honored, and as they are remembered, they can give us the tools they can give us their wisdom and the secrets and the keys. They are like this king of pentacles. So, this week, I dare you to connect to your source. Whoever your source is, name is be a god. Be it ancestors Be it the Orisha. Be a Buddha. Be it Allah, whoever it be, because it could be you wherever your source of strength comes from, find a way to connect this week as we use the world in reverse to remind us of where we have come from. And to take a pause before we move forward. We will not allow this moment to block us or keep us from where we are headed. We will take the lessons from the Fool's Journey. And we will hold them in our hands. And we will dream big dreams bigger than what we can see. We will use the intuition and the connection that we learned on our full journey when we met the High Priestess. And we will begin to ideate into dream of a life where there are no shackles and there are no chains where there is no bondage where there is dancing and there is joy. And there is reciprocity. And there is community and there is accountability. And there is divination. And there was light. And there is source. And out of all of that comes love. That is the world that I am imagining. Today for our Oracle message, I have a card from the chakra deck created by Sean J. Moore. And it's a self inquiry question question. And the question is simply how can I connect more deeply with the energy of creativity? How can I connect more deeply with the energy of creativity? That is a question for us all this week. And I dare each and every one of us to connect with that energy of creativity, to connect to source to gather the lessons that our ancestors have learned. And also gather the wisdom from the mistakes they made. So that we can carry on this race with grace. Yeah. Grace, Grace, grace and more grace abounds. I hope you have a beautiful beautiful week.
