Okay, so I just discovered a new feature I don't know if it's new to iOS 15 And I can't record a screen recording of it so I'm going to take pictures on otter, and we're just going to make a little quick blog post here we go. I forget exactly how I did it so I'm going to dig around a little bit, apologies. So first things first, we need to add the new notes shortcut in. What's this called control center. In order to do that if it wasn't already there, go into your settings and scroll down to control center, and click Control Center, and you should see a whole bunch of apps like this, scroll down and you can see notes. I'm dragging notes right now I've clicked a little three bars and so I'm dragging it. So make sure it's in here somewhere. And the top section where you're actually included the in the included controls, highlight that. Right, they're so put it in. Well, I should highlight, sorry that I included controls and notes. That's what you pay attention to. Okay, make sure it's in there. Then. then turn off the turn off the screen, and make Well, you've obviously got to have face ID or some kind of paint enabled, your phone has to lock or else you wouldn't be worried about this, then you can tell to swipe up to unlock so I'm locked, and then I'm going to swipe down from the lock screen you can kind of see my lock screen picture in the background, and long press on that notes thing. Oops that's on how you do it.
Let's see. Go ahead and unlock the phone again we'll go into settings. We'll go into settings for notes. So we're gonna click right here, highlight that as well, quick notes. Scroll down on nodes viewing tags media lock screen and control center. So go lock screen and control center scroll down and click that. Then I think by default is going to be off. But you can go resume last note or always create new note. For me it's convenient for a to do list, the shopping center or something like that. If I click Resume last note, and then the default setting is created on the lock screen. So that makes a little bit of sense but if I'm doing a to do list. I want to check this box view to Notes app. Another thing I want to do is in require passcode I want to click never. Okay, so let's see let's highlight those things. So resume last note, the union Notes app, and never required the passcode. And then what you can do is go ahead and lock the phone again unlocked and swipe down
to open the Control Center, and then just click the Notes app. Don't long click it, just click it, and it'll open up right into the note, the last note that you opened in, and notes. So now I'm going to go create a new note called proving the demo. I have to unlock. If I click. I didn't face it, if the unlock to go back to all nodes from the note you created but we'll just call this proving
proving the demo works.
I'm going to exit the Notes app, lock the phone and then click the. The. I'm going to swipe down on the control center and then click the nodes thing, and then it should bring me back in here instead of that to do with that. So go home.
Okay, lock the phone,
and turn it away from you, so that it's not going to face. It's not going to trigger face ID, or it's not going to successfully do face ID. Then go ahead and click the notes, we should see proven the demo works. And then if I click all nodes, it's gonna ask for face ID, or the passcode. Excellent. Okay that demos done six minutes there we go straight to the point.
