Hello, I'm Natasha, a video marketing coach for entrepreneurs and the host of The Shine Online Podcast. My goal is to help you simplify your video strategy with low lift content, which I'll be sharing a tip on in today's episode. If you have only an hour to spend on your Instagram strategy this week, here's three intentional ways you can spend your time that don't include mindlessly scrolling. The first is to clean up your profile. This means updating your highlights with your best stories content, adding in a strategic call to action in the last line of your bio for your link in bio, and to pin your top three posts from the past few weeks. And you can pin these to the top of your feed, or to the top of your reels tab. The next thing you want to do is connect with your community.
Maybe this means creating a reel reply from a comment on your latest video. Maybe it's sending a few voice messages via DMS or catching up on any messages or comments you may have missed. One of my favorite ways to do this is by hosting a q&a on a specific topic over on my stories. And the last thing is to start batching content, specifically video clips, I recommend focusing on B roll or what I like to call stock content footage that you can use in future video content. This can be stories, reels, or really any type of short form video content. It's multi use and not reliant on trends, which means the time you're spending batching these clips can be behind the scenes that you're already doing in your business, or even some random things that might already be on your camera roll. So with an hour you could batch up to an entire month of stock content footage to use across your Instagram and on other platforms. If you need help sourcing your own stock content I highly recommend joining my five day video competence challenge, you can start the free challenge and source your own stock content at video confidence. challenge.com or the details are linked in the show notes.
I'm Tiffany Napper, five time entrepreneur, perpetual overachiever, and now holistic business coach for creatives and founder of the Upleveler Society, I'm all about helping you find more money and more joy in this journey as a small business owner. Running your own business requires you to be a bold leader, but many of us step into this position without a lot of leadership experience. So here are three things to remember as you step into your confident leader era. Number one, stop apologizing. If you notice yourself apologizing the moment you open your mouth, try this on for size. Before you deliver your next presentation or host your next meeting. Start by saying "Welcome. I'm eager to dive in today. So let's get started." It might feel a little cheesy at first, but just try it on for size. When you know exactly what you're going to say. You're less likely to start with an apology. Number two, dream bigger. Where do you want to be in two years now double it. Get comfortable with that vision being your new normal. And number three, stop putting others before yourself. I know it sounds harsh, but I cannot tell you how many women I've coached who are subconsciously putting others feelings or desires above their own because they want to quote unquote, keep the peace or quote unquote be nice. Everyone wins but you in that scenario. Okay, I hope those three tips help you move forward into your confident leader era. Want more guidance on how to grow your business with ease and joy? Hi, my name is Kaitlyn Carlson and I'm the founder and CEO of Theory Planning Partners. I'm a certified financial planner, a certified Exit Planning advisor and an accredited Wealth Management advisor. My mission is to help women use their businesses to kickstart their wealth creation journeys. How do I create wealth? Wealth is pulling paychecks that cover your bills and lifestyle from something you own that doesn't rely on you. What is something you own? Where is this money coming from? I call them moneymakers, which is essentially something you own that pays you. There are three types. Number one, business. Receiving payments and one to four ways from creative income producing business deals. Number two, real estate. Pulling income from buildings and our homes that pass the profit test. And number three, your portfolio. Putting money in a passive money machine that grows steadily every year and you pull a percentage as a monthly paycheck. The goal is to use number one to diversify into number two and number three, this will help you sustainably create multiple money machines that provide you with passive paychecks every month. If you are eager to start your wealth creation journey, head on over to theoryplanning.com and book a call with us.
Hello, hello everybody. My name is Tara Zirker. I am the founder of Successful Ads Club where we teach small business owners, like yourself, how to do their own Facebook and Instagram ads, how to bring the skill in house so that you can always control the lever on your leads and your sales. All right, let's talk about some lesser known uses for ads. The other day, I was just remembering a client who came to us it was actually a book publisher. And they were deciding between several book covers for one of their New York Times bestselling authors. Pretty cool. So what we were able to do was build an audience using proprietary data as well as you know, just lots of research. And they were able to see from testing which book cover they wanted to use, which was really a cool project.
And so I wanted to talk about, you know, some of these other types of ads and what you can do with them. So let's talk about traffic ads, engagement ads, and then we'll go back to conversion ads, which are my favorite type of ads. So traffic ads, typically you want traffic ads when your objective is driving traffic to something like a podcast. And if you have a podcast and you have, let's say, your top three or four podcasts of all time, what you could do is create ads for each of those podcasts and drive more people to your iTunes page. Or if you have like a blog, for example, you could drive people to a blog. There's lots of ways that you can do this. But essentially driving more downloads with really simple, you can do $1 a day, $5 a day $10 Day traffic ads. So this can be really, really low budget and super effective. Now this is really the only time that we recommend this type of ad and it's really most powerful when it's retargeted with conversion ads. But essentially I want you to think about traffic ads for things that you can't pixel, for example think of an Amazon store, or perhaps things such as a blog right?
Now, ideally on your blog, you actually do have some opt in opportunities. And then you could do conversion ads to your blog. But if you're just like increasing viewership on your blog readership, traffic ads can also be another great ad for that engagement ads. So engagement ads are a really low cost effective way to increase engagement, kind of see who's interested in your message. And then you can retarget those folks through conversion ads, so you can recycle some of our repurpose some of your tiktoks or your reels and start to target people who've seen the majority of that video with your conversion ads. So engagement ads are a really great way to increase awareness and increase engagement across your brand. But then you definitely want to pair that with conversion ads, because engagement ads are going to people who typically don't have a strong history of conversion, so we need to follow up with them a few times in order to really see conversion on those types of audiences.
Conversion ads now this is our favorite type of ad. And we recommend that you spend 60 to 80% or more of your budget on conversion ads, this is going to be targeting people who have a history of opting in purchasing things of that nature. So if you're trying to get emails, phone numbers, sales, booking calls, or appointments, you want to spend the majority of your budget on conversion ads. Again, about 60 to 80% of your budget should be spent there. But you can use traffic ads, engagement ads, all other types of ads that you want to use to build up a strong audience and then retarget that audience with your conversion ads, it's a really cool strategy, really simple to set up. You can do this with a micro budget and then scale as you see success. And these are all fabulous ads that should be part of your overall strategy. Well, thanks for listening today. And if you want to learn more about how we help small business owners learn how to master their own Facebook and Instagram ads in a super effective time efficient way, head over to www.EllenYin.com/sac.
