I'm something of a lucid dreamer, if you aren't familiar with it, lucid dreaming means that when you dream, you actually know you're dreaming and can even sometimes control what you do in the dreams. When my wife and I were first married, I would totally freak her out because I would wake myself up out of a dream. And it typically started with me, softly moaning. And then it gradually grew louder until it was a scream, my heart would race and then her heart would race. It was frankly embarrassing. Now, she just ignores it when it happens. And even though it hasn't happened in a while, when I dream, I still realize that I'm dreaming. I'm Tim Vegas, and this is trailer park, the podcast trailer podcast on this show, we bring you podcast trailers, we press play on them, and then we analyze them. We absolutely love podcast trailers. But wait a second, who is we? Usually I co host this show with Ariel in this flat, but we're testing out a new format today. You will hear from her though, later in the show, I promise. So back to it. Dreams dreaming. What is your relationship with dreaming? Do you have dreams that you're flying or your teeth are falling out or you show up naked to a class or performance? Well, this week's trailer is all about what happens in our heads when we go to sleep. And I'll explain that in a minute. It comes from Mindy and Brooke, they are the CO hosts of revelations. That's our E M elations which is the acronym for rapid eye movement. If you have a smartwatch that tracks your sleep, those letters might be familiar to you. Revelations as a podcast where Mindy and Brooke read listeners dreams from nightmares to just plain bizarre ones. Let's hit play on trailer one, and I'll catch you on the other side for some reflections.
