Hello everyone, Jeida here, here to deliver a message. For the full moon, we are coming up on a Full Moon in Virgo tonight. So I thought that I will pull some cards for us as a collective just to see what messages we can lift up. As we prepare for this time, I tell you what, I really love the moon, I am enjoying these moon phases, especially over the last like six months, I've really just been getting in the rhythm with the Earth and the Moon in particular. And I just appreciate that every month, we have the opportunity to draw things in and to release things. It's just nice to know that we don't have to clench our fists, and keep ourselves in that rigid place that every month, we are given a chance to release. And that it reminds me of the scripture that says that every morning, we are given new mercies, you know, every morning, new mercies are granted to us. And so when I think of the full moon, I think of it as that morning coming. And so I just want to do just a quick three card spread on just this Full Moon in Virgo. And so I want to know, first of all, what is something that's falling away, what's something that needs to be released. And I have the king of swords here, the King of Swords is someone who is of course, as a king, in their power. They know what they're doing. This is mastery, right. And the king of swords in particular, is showing us the the mastery and communication, the mastery and strategy, the mastery in intellect. And so if I'm thinking about things that need to fall away, I'm automatically thinking about having it all together. Knowing every single step, sometimes it is better for us to release our ability or our tendency to control every single aspect of our lives, every single aspect of our relationships, every single aspect of our work of our of everything that anything in our lives that is within our within our reach. Sometimes there's a there's a there is a propensity to try to, you know, manufacture everything and make sure that everything is in its perfect place. And it makes sense if we're talking about Virgo I am, I am sigh Dario Virgo, moon and Virgo rising. So I have this tendency, I want things to be a certain way to be right in their place sometimes and to present in a certain way. And I also just want things to make sense. And so of course, we would have the king of swords, who is like I said that analyzing things and able to like and very good at putting things together in their minds. I'm thinking of like engineers, and what are they call Wow, just completely lost what I was trying to say. But you know, anyone who's doing anything that's analyzing and analytical. And so I'm thinking that this is something that needs to be released, let's let this fall away this full moon, whatever it is that you're overthinking and anything that you're just rehearsing your mind over and over and over again, this is a time to release that and let it go. So what is the full moon showing us that nothing is yet set in stone, things are still movable, things are still happening, there are still moving pieces in whatever it is that you're fixated on right now. So it's almost like impossible for us to to want things or to have expect things to be a certain way or in their proper proper place. Things are still moving, things are still working for your good things are still at play. So we can't, you know be so tense around what's happening in our lives right now. We need to let ourselves be open to flexibility and be open to fluidity and open to what can happen when we kind of take a step back from things and just let them play out sometimes I think that we will be surprised at how the divine can come in and help us to understand that these gonna be all right, you know, they can't be all right. Now what is next for us?
What is the next thing? I'm actually looking at the eight of swords Now typically, if you're familiar with the Tarot, then you know that the eight of swords has a person that's standing inside of this barricade of sores down into the ground. They are blindfolded, they are loosely bound in with This fabric and they're just kind of they're just, they're blindfolded and they're tightly wound. And so typically, this is a car where folks sometimes will say, you know, this is these these these things that hold you down, you're able to come out of them you don't, you know, you're you're free enough to get yourself free from whatever it is, you know, there's enough wiggle room for you to get yourself free. You don't need anybody to liberate you, you can liberate yourself. And while they can be one message of the eight of swords, what I'm getting for us in this reading is that the eight of swords represents a place of safety. And so when I'm thinking about releasing the overthinking, and the over analyzing that can happen in the king of swords, and realizing that the full moon wants us to remember that nothing set in stone that things are still moving and working and happening, things are in progress was next for us in this eight of swords to me is getting to a place of faith enough for us to when I see this person wrapped up in these looks like bandages and blindfolded. I kind of just think about a young baby. When babies are new, they love you. Most babies, just like some babies like to be swaddled. Because something about being tightly wrapped, makes a child feel safe, makes them feel secure, makes them feel like okay, I'm warm, I'm cared for I'm held and supported. And because I'm in the state, now I can sleep now I can rest. And so that is what I'm lifting up from the eight of swords today is that this can be a place of safety and security and rest. When we let go of what I am. I am reading as the King of Swords almost in this reverse where it's like overanalyzing overthinking things. And we can rest in this, this notion that things are still in progress. So it's okay if they don't look exactly the way I want them to look, because it's not done yet. Whatever it is that we're focusing on, it's not finished yet. It's an ongoing work. So that means that I can allow myself to be cocooned or to be swaddled in the, in the not yet to be swaddled in the place of safety. And then what is safety to you? What makes you feel safe? Are they your relationships, your intimate relationships? Is it your relationship with your ancestors or your loved ones or the divine themselves? What makes you feel safe, that is what we should be focusing on during this fall is letting go the need to control every single detail to immerse ourselves in the night yet and to be okay with that it's okay to just kind of lie on our backs in the water and just let the water carry us just let us float and trust that the water will carry us right and know that there is safety and being held and supported. I have a message here from the from the Lucille Clifton dividing poets, divination deck, and it's an affirmation from Lucille Clifton that says, What have you ever traveled toward more than your own safety? I'm going to say that one more time, what have you ever traveled toward more than your own safe? Is that not the perfect word to go along with this king of swords? And this eight of swords? That may be what it is that we should focus on in this next lunar cycle is traveling toward our own safety? Because maybe we're not sure yet what that is. Maybe that's why we're obsessing or maybe that's why we're overthinking over analyzing, trying to control every single detail, because it's our way of feeling safe. What if there's another way? What if instead, we can rest, we can swaddle ourselves in this idea that every step that we take in this moment, as we release the need to control the that we're actually moving toward our own safety. I hope that this meditation was helpful to you and wish you a happy
