Hello, hello. Hello, everybody. Oh my god, welcome to our second Friday call. And now we want to do something different from the Thursday call, you know, with all the stuff that we asked you to beginning, but let's in the chat please share with us what is one good thing that happened today and what is maybe some fun plans you have for this weekend? Let's do this. Okay, like something fun to think about that already happened, you know, day to day and maybe something great coming up this weekend. Okay, so something to look forward to. All right. I'll share Oh, my God, one good thing today it's sunny outside. Oh, my cup of Pacific Northwest. That's, oh, no, no, you're like, and I'm in my short short sleep that is on believable. I mean, I might regret it in five minutes. We never know. Right? But those are good things that happened to me already. So I'm gonna thank you. No, no pressure. Before we get started, just wanted to reiterate the purpose of this new Friday q&a call where you can ask follow up questions from you could take it for your next submission on Sunday, or what questions about yesterday's call or even for you to find out what's your next steps are, etc. Okay, we have some really good questions coming in today. But think of it as an additional office hour where the team is here to give you more clarity to continue on your journey. Okay. All right. Let's see. I'm feel like I'm missing out on I'm having major FOMO on in the chat. Ooh, play with friends. That's awesome. That's awesome. Yeah, definitely. And then, you know, this is also something for you all to think about, too, is how do you balance work and play at the same time, okay, we don't want you to because you're starting this entrepreneur journey to forget all the fun in your life and pull that out. And just so you can make more money, but that is not the purpose. We want sustainability, we want you to make sure to also celebrate your wins along the way, and actually enjoy and have fun, you know, however much time you have every week. Okay? All right, great job. And let's get started with the questions as to for this week. Okay, so first off we have from Kristen, about wanting to discuss automation for her program for a week six to eight, fire out daily text messages to new moms and give them cares of info each day. And with links to more in depth videos. And that I'm going to hand it off to our automation Queen Jill.
Yeah, so um, Kristen, I know you're not here right now. But I'm going to talk through this as best as I can. I'm going to start with disclosures first, and this is applicable to anybody. My job within this company is mostly automation, I would say more than half of what I do is setting that stuff up. So when you're starting a new company, and you're the one who wears the admin hat, the sales hat, the accounting hat, that's a lot of layers to add to yourself. So I'm going to just continue to reiterate that you need to start simple like start in a Google spreadsheet, start as small as you can to figure out what exactly it is that you need for when you begin to scale, you have to think forward when you think in automation. And you have to think logically to like, that's really where I excel, when it comes to automation is that I am a very logic based person, I'm like step A happens, then step B happens unless this happens. And then if then lots of events, you know, so it's very logic based. But Christian, I think, for texting, that's definitely something that's easy to set up. It's not adding a lot of extra work for you, it's actually saving you work. And it's not a hard software to understand. I'm going to talk about simple texting just because it's one that we use. And so I know a little bit about it, but there are lots of other software's out there. And in fact, I will drop a link in the chat if I can find it. Yes, I can. This was a link that I found from an automation software that we use called Zapier, which none of you need now. But this this link is useful for you, Kristen, it's just talking about the best SMS apps for a small business so they're less expensive, they've got nice automations to set up things that are easy to do, and so on. But with simple texting, the thing that I'll say that's really awesome is first and foremost, they I will share my screen and make sure I share the right screen. They have options for lots of different ways to automate. So for Kristin, I'm just thinking of scenarios that might apply to you. Like for example, a mom could text labor all she has to do is text the word labor to your simple texting phone number, and you can set up a thing that says alright, when someone texts the word labor, this is what they get sent out and it might be like congratulations, remember to breathe, you know, I don't know whatever, whatever you're telling them. And then like a link to here's what here's what to look at. And maybe it's even something of like hand the phone to your significant other your doula whoever and let them read it while you breathe. You know, whatever that is. You can import contacts really easily into simple texting and a lot of these platforms so you might have a good little sheet of contacts that you started with, and then you hop on to simple texting later down the road, it's super easy to incorporate those contacts into simple texting. Just like with email, you do need to have consent to send text messages to people, you can't just blast people with a bunch of text messages. And then, you know, haven't have no way of them to say like, Yep, I'm okay with text messages. I just encourage all of you when it comes to any kind of automation or marketing messages, just read a tiny bit, don't don't read it in detail, it's really long. The can spam act is just going to tell you what works in terms of things that you can email the people how you can text people, what's legal, what's not legal, just how to protect yourself. It's not, it looks like a big scary document. And it's not, it's really just saying, You need to have consent from a person before you send them marketing things. Christian for you, it might be a little bit of a loophole, because you're sending them what's considered transactional messaging, but they've paid for a service, and this is the service that you're providing. So you might be able to get around that a little easier. But, um, let me the great thing about simple texting is you can start really small and grow from there, they have lots of pricing options, you can go to this little pricing tab right here and take a peek at that. It also integrates with a lot of different things. MailChimp. First and foremost, I know that we encourage you all to use MailChimp. So the two of these apps would talk together really well, if you ever really got bigger and wanted to super automate, or just say like, Hey, when a person gets on my email list, I want you to also add their contact to simple texting and that kind of thing. So that's another great thing about simple texting and a lot of software's, it'll be pretty easy to tell right away. But when you're looking at software, when you're looking at automating, I highly recommend reaching out to their support and asking, you know what's available, here's the thing I'm thinking of doing is this an option is something that you do, lots and lots of these apps are going to have really, really good documentation on how their software works. So I highly recommend taking advantage of that and reading it and understanding it for yourself if you plan on investing money in it and using it. But the same advice that Sylvie gives everybody is just start free, figure out if it works for you and upgrade from there when you're ready to do that when you have the clientele to do that. But that's, that's simple texting in a nutshell.
And I wonder too, if this is we're talking about consensus, send text messages to your clients, I wonder if this is a paragraph or clause that you wanted to include in your contract with your clients, because your clients are, this is what they are signing up for like Right, like between six weeks six to week eight, you are going to contact them via text messaging for the most part, I mean, they can contact you in other methods as well. But the main things that be will be blasted to them is through text messaging. So I wonder if it is maybe when you are modifying your contract template, maybe to add that clause in there and have a lawyer take a look at it and see if the the wording is right, or how you express this is it right, but I think this might be worth your for your investigation, particularly because your program deliveries that way.
Yeah. And a lot of those software's too, they'll give you a template of here's what you need to include in the first message that goes out to your people. Like for example, on our apply page for the application that you all filled out for this, we have this whole paragraph on whether or not you can send or receive text messages that includes it has to include why we're texting you generally how often we might text you. Texting help to get help texting stop to opt out, that the consent is not required to purchase goods or services from us, you don't have to text to opt into this. And we always have to say message and data rates may apply. I don't I don't know many people on the planet who don't have unlimited texting these days, but it's still a thing that has to be there. And then we also link up our Terms of Use in there. But most of those texting apps will just give you a little template for free of like, here's what you need to do to make sure that people are like, good to go and you're not breaking any laws.
Well, alright, so the next step she also have an additional question about video links. So how can I organize my video links as I record them so I can find what I need for clients? Is Vimeo the best place to put them for my clients what other places can I save my videos for faster links, um, you know specifically for no logging or sign up for her client just one click done before Jill dives deeper because she's also the queen of this. I think from my end the way I do certain things if I'm safe according to critique, I always make sure that my title the title to my video is very specific to the content of it. So then it when it's time for you to blast out that video and shoot it out. At least you know what you're looking for instead of just like December 2120 22. Like, what like what is inside you'll know right? Like if this is about Ah, breastfeeding tips number one dash, you know, club, you know club Glens or whatever right, then this is typical five minutes do you want to make sure that your title echoes that? So even if, say you have five tips for breastfeed, right, you know exactly what which one to pull when they're kids shooting with a question that I have this this this question about my breastfeeding fam, here's the link, right? So again, organization is a key, you might be able to just start a Google Sheet for a Google doc to categorize all the links for you. So you can just seriously just copy paste. But Jill,
take it away. Yeah, I mean, the things I'll say in terms of platforms like Vimeo is really great just because of its privacy options. And I think YouTube is kind of on the same realm. It's just a matter of making sure when you publish a video that you have it to the settings of the only people who can watch the video or people with a link, it's a setting called unlisted, which means it's not searchable. It's not public. The only way you watch that video is if you have a direct link to that video. I know you also asked about putting it on a website. And that's totally an option. I think when you first start, it's not necessary. But I'm going to echo what Hannah said is that if you choose to put them on Vimeo, if you choose to put them on YouTube, it's just a matter of organizing them well. And I know Vimeo allows you to similarly to like a Google Drive, you could put them in folders of say, like, here's the breastfeeding videos, and here's the labor videos. And here's the these and you could just name them. I mean, definitely come up with a naming convention that works and stick to it, stay consistent with it so that you're never like, oh my god, I made a 10 minute video talking about breastfeeding, I can't even find it and somebody needs it. Just so you're never putting yourself just be kind to your future. So the other thing I'll say is we use what we call one sheets, which I Oh, there's Kristin, which I love very much. One sheet is a really great place to just put what we call like the living truth, documents, the truth and links, the just the honest place where things live. That's the real link, and there's the editable link. So I will just say like, here's the name of this page. What does that page do? What where's the link to that page? What's the link to where I go to edit that page of just having a Google sheet that just is like name link notes, it can be that simple. And just so you can look in there really quickly. And if you need to copy and paste a link, awesome. You can go from there, then you don't have to pop into Vimeo every single time you need a link, you've just got a document of truth to say like, Oh, she needs breastfeeding. Okay, here's the breastfeeding tab. There's that one. And here we go. And I got it. So one sheets, I will say are really great thing. And yes, it takes a lot of extra work upfront. But that extra work is is kinder to your future self for sure. When you're, you know, you tell yourself like yeah, I'll definitely remember where this video is. And then a week later, you have no idea you even made it.
Like early organization is definitely the key. I think for any entrepreneurs, you want to know like if you can set up some sort of organization from the get go. Honestly, your future self is going to love you and thank you for it because then you're making everything much easier down the line rather than like Joe said, going back to oh god I have we're talking about breastfeeding which video God that the central way I did something in December which one is up and you then you end up having to watch all the videos to find out one you're looking for clients. Right? That's defeating the purpose of trying to make sure this is convenient for you as well. Okay. And thank you Kristin for joining us. We actually just answered your question. Did you watch the recording for sure. But we definitely addressed everything that you want to give asked and if you have any follow up questions later on. When we're talking about other people's questions, feel free to just put in a chat or whatever, unmute yourself. Okay. All right. Next up we have forum Krista. So the first one is after the calling from Virtus Pro, in my suppose to start sales calls on the calls. When do I When do I tell clients that program is supposed to lunches I'm taking payments, but only doing module two? Honestly, I think if from your first sales call, I would say four to six weeks from that sales call. Because that way you're allowing yourself some time to get everything else organized while we fast track basically from Module Three to module six for you at the moment, right because module seven comes a little later when you're still trying to write again for my OCD yours out there for my fellow OCD viewers out there. I know this is nerve racking. If you feel like now having any content is giving you heart attacks, I get you but go ahead and dive into creating module one and stop right there. Because chances are you're going to find out what your clients need. from week one, going into Week Two from week two leading into week three. And you might just find yourself reorganizing all the thoughts you have even when your outline is set is just okay. So we don't encourage you to create everything before you launch it. But definitely once you have a first sales call, I would say between four to six weeks We'll be your launch date to that client. Okay. Her second question is, Are there instructions in the module in how to put the calendar link in the website in the Facebook group. So for as far as that, really, the link is really primarily needed to be accessible, especially when you do Facebook Lives. So those are the links that you need to include in the comment section. So after each likes that you done, you finished right. The second thing you do really is going to that comment section and say, if you're interested in booking the call, here's my calendar link. If you're interested in knowing more, here's my Facebook group, just so that is easy access for these clients and know that they are lazy, they are not going to go and search it oh, you know, you know, food, flu and flu allergies and sensitivities for people, like they're not going to search that they don't have time for that. So give them that easy link will be great. Okay. As well as as far as the Facebook page in group. If you want to add that to it, I'll leave Jill's because she's also our main tech person on everything, Facebook, so I'll let her answer that with the show and tell.
Yeah, so I will just show y'all our like, basically, free Facebook group is what it what it really comes down to. So in our, of course, all your beautiful faces are in my way, there we are. In our free Facebook group, the passive and hybrid income, the group that's just available, we approved members coming in, but this is like your, your free group that we're using. So in the about section, we've got our link to apply for the program. So I recommend reading this and you know, you can template this out and steal it and make something simple similar for your open groups as well. If you have a Facebook page, which you don't need to have one, but if you already do, there's ways to do a link. So like, for example, I'm an admin, so you guys are seeing this as, let me see if I can view the page, not as me. Nevermind, all right. If I were viewing this as a just random person who wasn't an admin of this page, this would, this button would lead to our application. So for all of you, you could edit the signup button to go to your Calendly link. And then, of course, what Hannah said of like dropping that link, after your Facebook Lives, like you post a Facebook Live. And somewhere in the title or somewhere in the comments, you can say, you know, you can book a call with me for link. And it doesn't need to be anything beautiful. You don't need to make sure that it's some kind of gorgeous link, you know, whatever, whatever it is, so long as it gets people there. They don't care what it looks like, really, they just want to be able to say I click this and it takes me to the next thing.
Alright, the next step, we have follow up questions on email. So I only have a few emails, but I'm starting to put together email this unreal chip, how do you recommend I start building up an email list. Should I put together a freebie on my website or is that a destruction of stuff I shouldn't shouldn't focus right now. So basically, honestly, for the few that you have, you can feel free to use a few email templates that we have in module two and encourage them to book a call with you. And I believe we have a nine word email template, we also have I'm sorry, you know, template. And so if these are all already your warm audience reach out to them. The goal is to have them book a call with you. Okay, otherwise, the rest of them could be generated organically through your Facebook Lives and your Facebook group. And I will say really not to give away too much. Because as much as the freebies attract people, you don't want to give away whatever you are offering within the program. So for example, if say, Sarah, Sarah Clark is doing food sensitivities, and you know, like, in, you know, allergies, right? Instead of giving everything away from your program, it could be something like, Hey, you know, guys, I was just at Starbucks today. And I was thinking about my peeps who have food sensitivities and allergies. And I'm like, looking at the menu I'm thinking about, you're like, Oh, God, what can you order? So here's a tip, when you if you are like, you cannot give up. You know, Starbucks, you still love it, but you don't know what to order. So you don't have to find groceries in the next five minutes. Here's a tip. Right? So those are the actual applicable tips that you can provide without giving everything away from your progress, right? Because the goal is, Hey, you want to know more about how to navigate your food sensitivities. book a call with me, right? So those are the easy connections is the free content you wanted to maybe provide. It's a little bit of tips that is regarding your program without giving your program Okay, so keep that in mind. Um, and so, you know, it could also be like a good article, Hey, I just I tap into this hardcore earlier about food sensitivities and I think this is a great read. If you're interested in this, you know, Definitely click on it. Right. So those are the things that you probably won't be providing in your Facebook group while you're managing it and posting your Facebook Live as well. But at the same time, I wouldn't, you know, put too much effort on growing this email list because I think this what we are working on having you building this organically through your Facebook eyes and everything, okay, all right, next up we have from Michelle. So Michelle, your first question is about the big leap. Yes, it is. But worrying that one is coming your way. Okay. It's our gift for you. So don't don't do that by now. Don't Don't do that. Don't die, don't it's Oh, you're muted, but it's coming your way we promise.
Not buying again. What is it that I don't
buy the big leap? We're sending one to you.
Oh, crap. I'm so glad I did. Because I already line. I thought that I was like, she didn't understand. Yeah, I'm like the Energizer Bunny. So I'm like, odd.
I mean, I've gone through every module already.
So no, no, no, we have a copy coming your way. So we got you. We got you on that. But you are right. It wasn't right book. It was a right author. We're just sending one to you right now. Yes, it will be a little bit but you know, it'd be half naked. But it will be it will be awesome. Thank you. Alright, so um, the next question you have is about what site I was building this course on. And then we're going to kind of collaborate that along with professional photography, audio and video recommendations. So now really do it. I understand what you mean, Joe, we're just kind of chit chatting a little earlier. And I think there you are sort of setting your heart pretty high when you are working. Because you're artists, like your threshold is like, you're you're looking pretty, it's like high higher than most of us and my prettiest Poppy here. And you're pretty like right here out of the screen. Right? So I get it, it's really hard. But we just want you to do quick and dirty version for your first launch. Why? Because honestly, if you are building website, unless you have a website building skill, we do not recommend that because it requires money, right? You are investing in a professional site. And number two, you probably require a team to help you manage it, right? What if there's incoming messages? What if this what if that and that's more time for you until you have a team I think quick and dirty version is easy, you basically send out a video link right? Earlier, we talked about Vimeos, we just sent a hate week one, the content is ready for you, here's a video for you to take a look down here. So worksheet that a bit of a buy for you. This could very easily in an email format, it doesn't have to be pretty, right? The first round is when we're trying to figure it out what people really need, how they are responding to everything that you do so far. And then I would say honestly, by the time we hit the six figure income, then we can talk about making a super pretty for everybody, we can start a membership site, we'll get higher health, we could do professional photography, I could be pretty birthday, it doesn't matter. Like, once you hit that six figure mark, we can talk about it. But for now, let's keep it simple, right, keep it simple for you. And along with the tips that we gave Chris earlier, like, be organized, right? I have all the video links, I have all the notes to fire, I have the tracking system for my clients. And that's about it. You don't need to make it fancy at the moment. On the get go. Okay, because know that there will be a lot of changes, even with the first round of clients, right? By the time you hit week three, you're probably right. Like we were saying earlier. Yeah, I have my outline all done. But holy cow, and that is basically pulled it apart and put it back together again, because the order doesn't work. Okay. Um, and then the last one is, are we going to review tech usage, for example?
So here's the thing, I already have a website. I already have a full website. So you know, my thought was, Can I add a page, a starting page on my website, like that I already have, you know, because like, because I know how to use my website, and I know how to design my website. But it's a different focus.
Yeah, I mean, I would say, you know, if you want to, I mean, if you want to like talk about your business on that site, like this business that you're building right now with us on that website, you should and you could build another page about it. And you could have sections of your current website that say if you're interested in learning more about HIPAA, and then have a link to that new page in terms of adding, you know, more than just a single page usually goes to a link to book a sales call with you. You could eventually build out what what platform is your website on?
Faso? Fa S Oh, okay, specifically for artists. So my thought was to take my website, just make one page do exactly what you just said, and start with module one, and then build out to a separate site.
Yeah, exactly. Because what you don't want is, I don't know if this website has the ability to have like a login like a membership setting. So the the thing I'm getting at is just, you know, don't accidentally publish all of your modules publicly on your website, so that people aren't paying for it, but getting all of your content. That's why, you know, for all of you, when you log into the CHP website, like you have to be a member to log into that you have to be a member to have access to all these videos and all of these worksheets in and out of that. That's just the one thing I'd be careful of, you know, it's like, giving away too much information, just making sure that, you know, once you have clients, you can build it on that same website, but you're going to need a way to make sure that that's not just public information. Okay,
perfect. That's all I need to know, because I already have the website. And then what I do is I just go in the backend, and I put unlisted, too. So essentially, the videos on that page that I make, yeah, Module One for my car will just be for people that have that password and access, and I know how to do
it. But yeah, yeah. If you know how to do that, like, by all means, I know, you asked about what site you're building your course on. But you know, we don't recommend any particular one. Just because it might be different for everybody. Like, if you already have a site that you know, will work for this. That's why
Yeah, that's Yes, exactly. Why yes. I'm like, Oh, my God, am I gonna have to build another
website online? No. Yeah, we on purpose. Don't say like, you have to use teachable or you have to use what's another one Kajabi or, you know, whatever. They all are an access ally or whatever. Like, whatever works for you. Honestly, when Sylvie started this, she was just emailing people, like, here's module one, here's module two, here's module three. And it was unlisted links, you know, there wasn't even a website to speak of. So. Perfect.
I think for for Michelle's extra caffeinated personality, too. They honestly, I know, we do, like Facebook Lives and everything. Honestly, what about an extra page on your current website and say, art therapy?
Well, I can't use the word therapy, because I don't have my master's degree. Okay. So yes, I'm going to exactly do that. And it's going to be expressive, expressive art experience for healthcare workers.
Yeah. So then, yeah, right. Easy, easily add a page to your current website, since it since is already very art focused. And you know, just say, Hey, if you want this to expand this in your health care worker, you can either refer people to your site, or you can refer people to just you Calendly and Facebook group. But this is also a maybe another way, in addition, for your already existing client on your current website and say, Hey, I'm expanding, and I'm trying to do this with some of you if you find this really helpful. I think that could be also be a good marketing page that you already have set up already. Anyway. Yeah. Yes. We are excited for you for sure. And I don't know if we have a website. And I think Vimeo is really easy to do. I think that is still Sylvia's favorite. Um, but I think honestly, you can record your video in however many forms that you have. But I think we love video just because the organization possibilities, and I think this their setting is so far pretty progressive, and not as painful as YouTube. I think.
It's also a privacy thing is really what it comes down to.
What about iMovie? Can we can I do it in iMovie? And then transfer it over to Vimeo? Yeah. Yeah, you guys, I want to give you like a like a virtual hug right now.
We got you. Yeah. I think that Vimeo, the reason why we love Vimeo, like, like Jill said, is the privacy issues. And I think this is they do have a better, better setup that there is for all of you guys. And I think this is a good one to start just because it is a pretty reliable platform right now. I think YouTube gives them to the they I think they're setting changes like every other day, just like Facebook, and it gets really painful after a while. So I think if you started off with Vimeo, I think that is probably not a bad choice that you will have to change down the line. And definitely like Joe said earlier, the I think just the sheer fact that you can actually categorize your video by folders. I mean, if anytime you have to pull any video coming out, make it easy for you, all the best to it.
I think, for me to stay on the same platform as the class as well, because then we're able to help one another. So I'm not left field knowing how to do i movie and whatever it is. I mean, like, I mean, iMovie is just a platform that I make my videos on, and then I'll put them on Vimeo. So I'm with everybody else. That way I'm able to help everybody else as well.
Yeah, sure. Yeah.
I mean, yeah. Well, the moral of the story is do what is a easier and be works for you? Like, there's no reason to fix what's not broken?
You got a girl? All right, I'm on it. Alright, does.
Okay, so that is all of the pre submitted questions for today. Does anybody has any follow up questions or any live questions you would like to ask? Oh, I see. That was hands. It Girl. Thank you.
Okay, so I'm just thinking about these sales calls that apparently I'm doing in the next week or two? Probably? Um, I know, right? So am I doing them on the phone or by zoom?
Honestly, up to you, as long as it is in a platform that you can record. If that is case, then maybe zoom is pretty. I mean, I mean, Zoom is easy, because then that is gives you an easy recording platform, when you're doing it by phone, you might need an extra app, or you might take a call, you might need this and that. But then I also understand too, that sometimes people can be intimidated if we're seeing eye to eye. Or are there even people that could be intimidated by phone calls, I don't know I have a friend who just refuse make phone calls and won't even order her pizza. So like when there's an online ordering, like service available that was like heaven to her. Um, so consider all that and say, you know, if, if even if this isn't an idiom format, and say like, I just so you know, I'm, I will be recording this conversation for future use for record. But just so they know, right? So we want to make sure that we are offering methods that makes your potential client comfortable doing it, whichever format they feel comfortable doing. And it's easy and convenient for you to Okay, okay, that's great. Yeah, and definitely try it out, too. I think, you know, earlier on, we had another Shakira, actually she was she was doing the tape of call things you recognize that for business phone number, for some reason won't record. So definitely try it out with a friend and say, hey, you know, I'm going to call you I'm going to try to record this call. And, you know, try it out before the actual called rolls out. Another thing too, if you would like to generate a business phone number, which I understand you don't want everybody to call you on your cell phone at eight o'clock at night. I think you could easily do that via Google Voice. But you know, I think there might be other ways to do that as well. Yeah. Okay. It does simple texting also does that for you, Joe?
For recording,
though, for like generating a business number?
Oh, yeah. Yeah. So sorry, I was like doing too many things at the same time, sort of my life. For simple texting, if you confirm your business, then you can have like, for example, when we first started with simple texting, it gave us like an 818, or an eight something something phone number that was like a really random area code. And once we confirmed our business, and we're like, we're real people who are using this for business purposes, they let us choose our own phone number. We just We just asked them, can we get a phone number with this area code? And they said, Sure. Here's the ones available. And we actually I think we ended up spelling, part of Sylvia's name or something in the phone number, so it was easy to remember. You think I'd remember it because I set that up? But I sure don't. I have it written down in 10 places, but I tried
it again, think you know, Google Voice If I the last time I did research, too. If you are on Google Voice making a call. I think clicking for allows you to record the call. Yeah. So that is also another. Yeah. And then that's also something that you could literally organize it via Google, right? It could be just a different folder, different business email account, and everything stored in there for you as well. I think again, organized now. thank yourself later. So cool. Thank you. Yeah, no problem. Kristen, they have question.
Yes, I'm getting one second. It just piggyback on what you guys were just talking about. I don't know if this is a good idea to but I use Doximity. When I talk to people it's I can make the number look like whatever number I want it to look like when I call patients so you can take out your home number but it's a it's a it's waited for telehealth, it's free to you can faxing so I use that a lot. So I don't know if that's just that. I don't know if you can record on it. I'd have to look into that. But it's just another idea for an app for for talking to patients. But my question was, we're talking about the videos. Are you people just recording these videos on their computers? Like using an iPad like anything? It doesn't matter. There's like no actual equipment that we need to make these videos that we're recording and saving and using for Course and putting on Vimeo. Right. Okay. Yeah,
I mean, the great news is you can always update it later. The one piece of advice I give to everybody is front light is your friend. If you can get light in front of you, it will look just brighter and nicer. Your skin tone will look better. The other
way around makes you look like you're in witness protection program.
Like when I'm in my office at work, and there's no frontline. Yes, I totally get that. That's funny.
Normally is also nice to like a lot of ring lights will have very white light, but I actually prefer warm light to white light. That's my personal preference.
Yeah, I don't know where my ring light went to. But I have one somewhere. Okay. So you could just use any iPhone, iPad or computer for recording these. There isn't any other thing like that besides lighting that you want to pay attention to. And then what videos on Vimeo they're private. Oh, nobody find them.
Okay, it just there's different settings. So like, for example, we set RS as unlisted. And then we're allowed to put them on our domain. And that's the only way that they can be found. That's the only way they can be listed just so it's not like if you if somebody logs into Vimeo and searches Sylvie McCracken, her videos are not going to show up.
Okay. Gotcha. All right. Thank you so much.
And then before you can, you know, drift off, I think Michelle was asking about spelling of the suggestion is that the suggestion that Kristin was just using for the healthcare already sold out for us the oh, here we go. Thank you so much.
Sweet. Thank you. Yeah, that's awesome. I'll put a I'll put a link to their website in there, too. Yeah.
I don't know how exactly would work in this situation. But I do that all the time. When I call patients like from home, I want to tell them a lab value or something like that. I can use it on my iPad or my iPhone. And that gives me the other one if I need to look something up. But I just I'm not sure. Yeah, thank you. I knew there was a link, but I didn't know exactly what it was. But you can actually I have it like set up so that when I call a patient, it'll look like it's coming from one hospital. And then I can choose another number if I'm working in calling a patient from another hospital that I work in. So it'll look like I'm actually calling from the hospital. So you can actually set up like different numbers, and it's all free. I don't pay anything for it. So it's a really cool app. I don't know how it works. And I haven't practiced it with something like this situation, but I like it. So I'm going to look into it and see if they allow recording to because then that would take you know, check all the boxes. So
that's awesome. See, I love it when we have extra brains in the house. You know, just brainstorm everything for each other. This is awesome. hive mind. Yeah, totally. Alright, Becca, you have another question?
Always. Okay, so I'm, I already run a business. So I know a fair amount about small business management. And I'm already thinking like, at some point, I need to have a business license, maybe preferably before I have a whole lot of income. Also, I probably want to have a separate checking account. That's a business account. But I can't have that until I probably have a business license in the state. And so it's starting to stack in my head, like how do I get this part set up? And when? To thoughts on that. Do you have I know an accountant would? Yeah, I would recommend finding some kind of CPA or even a small business. I'm saying CPA because it's probably cheaper than talking to an attorney. And just asking them their recommendations.
Yeah. Okay. I was gonna say that too. Because I,
as a health care provider, I have this clinic and it's all I mean, so got all the things set up. And I'm working on my license there. But within this program, it has to be so separate, right? It's different.
Yeah. Yeah. And so you know, there are other people that started a different LLC. Again, this is a CPA question. Because ultimately, the goal is by next tax season, you don't get yelled at. You don't have to see a turn around. I quit. Not working on this one. You know, that's the goal. That's cool. So I have a year almost to get this right. Probably. Okay. And I think you know, even with Sylvie to in the beginning, I don't think she has a lot of things that kind of sorted out until you know, her CPU is like, I don't like you very much right now. Okay. Okay. Let's get it sorted out. All right, cool. Cool. Let's get to it. Yeah.
Believe me, I still get CC on emails with questions where I'm like, I never would have thought to ask that. And I'm really glad that she did. That. That's why I'm not the CEO.
All right, Nicole, you have a question. Hi.
Yeah, it's so good to see you. Good to see you as well. Oh, how did I just do that with man? Okay, there we go. Yeah, I am. I'm so happy that I can talk to you live. I missed the narrowing down focus workshop. But I can use some support with that. I'm navigating whether this is like mindset barrier, or just practical get down to do the work barrier. But you know that I've worked on my narrowing down documents, I have a mission statement. And in the context of what I'm doing right now, I'm having some trouble. So I am, I'm building a concept called sensory conscious living. And it's my goal in my mission to educate folks and get that out there. Because it's a way we can really improve our communication and connections and our creativity. Right. So I have this package over here that I'm super excited about. Then in the media, trying to build build myself, build my background, and then I have this program, of course, I'm going to launch my first program. And I think the challenge is, am I do I focus that program on my current mission statement, which is I help people heal self doubt and feeling stuck, so they can live with more clarity, creativity and confidence? Do I just recite it right there? Thanks. So I answer that in my current program, do I try to integrate my my concept into this program?
Honestly, you are the boss in this. And I think the less work that is out front, the better. So if you see that say, this is a program that you're creating within CHP, this is something else that you're doing for your current work, if there's some pieces that you can that's usable between the two. Sure. And I think another thing for you to consider, too, are you doing this for, you know, an institution, an organization, a hospital, whatever, because then I don't know that copyright issue would be a thing. But it is not, then yeah, why not? I don't see why if this is applicable in applicable in your day job. Still great for your clients in this program? I don't see why not. In a sense, you, you are them working on both things at the same time, if it is somehow. You know, in a sense, we cycle both that's about work usable for both both worlds, I think that is great. And definitely easier on your end. Because even you're like not just burning candle from both ends, you know, in feeling like you're just there's more of like, you know, that as a lot of people wanted to do.
Yeah, they're deaf, it's the same thing. And there, it's all in my business. I think I think the clarity of the outcome is now might be where I just need to be okay, saying that this first version is going to help with the self doubt and feeling stuck. Just be okay with that. And know that, wow, this, this, this concept, his frame of reference can help with other parts of life, that I just focus on that.
Right. And I think really the mission statement, what we say is the biggest thing for your program, it can be morphed as you progress as well, right? Say like down the line, what as you are deeper into the program, you thought, Oh, crap, I want to work more with more than self doubt. I want to work with more than this than Morphett nobody say that you cannot use your mouth. No, there's nothing. Right? It's ultimately you and your program and how you would like to help people in certain areas in their lives. And if that means this is, you know, even self doubt is too limited for this population. You want to work with a next level cell for them. Sure, go ahead. But then it's really all up to you. If that is the case, just let us know we'll work on maybe we'll go back and revisit you're narrowing down maybe this is then we look towards the outline already and say okay, what if I have this in mind, then what is my outline looking like? Right? So there is a ways to change this. Again, you haven't launched yet. So you can change it any way you want. Yeah, yeah,
I think you're right, that that playing with the pieces will be important because I was playing with you know, I help people harness their habits and routines for clarity and creativity. And I was like, okay, so that sounds really concrete. I think clients will like to hear that they'll be attracted to that. And then what I'm doing is helping with self doubt and feeling stuck through like by way of habits and routines, which I realized can be communicated through other copy, like doesn't have to be in the mission statement. So is it okay that I say I'm helping myself out and feeling stuck and then I'm doing that outline where I'm using habits and routines as a way to help people with that?
Oh, yeah, absolutely. Because that is right your before is self out and you know blockage right and then you're after is a new me right? Whatever that's happening, this process thing, right remember that box and you're narrowing down that process is basically A draft of the draft or the outline, okay, how that process is is all up to you. If that is building routine it is that's building rituals. Is it that changing your habits from day one? That's all there is to it. Really? Okay. All right. Well, thank
you. It's nice to be able to say it out loud and just like, receive that validation. Do I see you too? Thank you, Michelle. It's yeah, thank you. I appreciate it.
Yeah. And I mean, the other thing I'll say is that, that the outline and how you incorporate, you know, what you're already doing in this other business into this program might become more clear as you've gone through a few clients of like, what's really sticking what's resonating? Like, I know that that's scary to be like, I'm not going to know until I know, but you know, that's kind of the way it goes is you'll get a few clients, and you'll see what really sticks, and you'll see what really works. And then you can just progress and improve from there. You know?
Yeah, I've been trying to, I've been trying some things on with my current clients, and right, kind of this resonating, and it's really neat. Now that I have that awareness, I'm noticing what is we know when light bulbs go off for people? So yeah, thank you for that.
Journal that, write it down. Put it somewhere, don't forget.
Oh, yeah, definitely I did. This is where we would also encourage you to literally put down your thoughts on what works and whatever, even in the shower. I know, on Amazon, there's a shower of having because oh my gosh, everybody now before it's gone, right? Like, you know if that is you definitely do whatever it takes to get that done. Or as Siri Siri put this down in my notes, and I don't know like something
fun. I love that. And fun fact, when we're in the shower, talking about a sensory experience, it can help calm our nervous system, our brainwaves can shift, and that's why some creative moments and new thoughts come up.
Now, in fact, our pad is up in y'all. So
I'm gonna find the link to that shower pad right now.
All right, Kristin, you have another question?
Not really so much a question just want to share from the earlier question asked about whether or not to open, you know, a separate business. And when I just figured I'd share my own, I live in New York. So it's probably different every state but I already had an LLC from a consulting business that I was not using at the time. And so I did contact my lawyer and my CPA and they told me just to open a DBA, which is like a doing business as which means it really cost me nothing to just you know, it's like a rider type of business on the backs on the back of the other business that I had. And it allows me then, and then they told me once I make $10,000 Call them back again, and they'll take a look at everything and make sure I'm holding enough money out for my taxes. And so just I would suggest like they like the girls did here. Have a relationship with a lawyer and a CPA that you can kind of just shoot questions to they don't even charge me for some of these questions usually because they know they're going to get money from me when I do something. So I mean, that would be my suggestion but that's how I that's how I'm doing my business.
Awesome saws. Oh my God look at that if your brainpower alright, and we have a waterproof shower notepad link in the chat for you. Hashtag not affiliated but you know, they should they really sure that they were talking about it enough.
Right, like we use it enough. I'm like, I need Amazon to start trickling down. I know.
Alright, if you don't have any additional questions, that is the end of our q&a call for Friday, and definitely encourage you to participate in the future. I think this is great when we can just sit down and just brainstorm with each other. Another thing I want to leave you for the food of food for thought this weekend is I have find it. I've been finding myself having this conversation with some of these clients. Some of you guys more read, like more often lately is about how to schedule and build a ritual and build a routine like how Nicole is doing for her clients. How do you build a system that is doable for you to carry on for the next 12 minutes, right? Because we don't want you to build some things like Oh, I'm gonna run at 60 miles per hour and die two minutes later. No, that is not what we want you to do. We want you to set up a schedule a routine that allows you to do Facebook Lives regularly, to reach out to do affiliation pitches regularly to manage your program you know regularly and to do everything that you would need to do for your this program for this program that you are making more on a consistent basis without burning yourself out. Right because I think while a lot of us are working with people that are burned out, okay, like Michelle um, and you know, it's hats off to you like we don't want to underway of helping people getting out of their burnout. burning ourselves. Right? So that is a homework for you to think about building a system that allows you to, again for right now, maybe your program hasn't launched right then right now is for you to think about how do I put time to make sure that I put work into CHP to make sure that I get all the worksheets done and move forward without dying with my day job. Right. So those are the food for thought for you. And you know, basically really building a system to allow you to work your day job, as well as work on your program. And definitely, definitely self care. Okay, don't forget to schedule that. And even if it is downtime, and I'm hollering on my fellow, you know, introverts over there, we need downtime, we need to self care, we need to celebrate our wins, even if it that it just means that hey, I got my outline done this weekend and submitted this on Sunday was so Starbucks for life, like, doesn't matter. It could be as small as just an extra Starbucks would put me on top, I mean, you know, wherever. So think about that for you put up the schedule that is doing yourself good. Again, organizing everything right now is the key right that your future self is going to thank you later on. Alright. So without further, you know, without anything else, I hope you have a fun weekend. I hope to see you very soon. Hope to review your submission by this Sunday and have a great weekend, everybody. Talk to you soon.
