Take a look at the 2023 spring equinox essence just like I would do for a client so this is an essence that is you know unlike a personal essence largely it's gonna be as a pattern is the pattern essence
so for me, this is the pattern that best represents the movement of energy this spring now looking at it we see Red Sedum Red Sedum is the sixth chakra essence studios that meaning sixth chakra you know whatever's happening up there in the brain. Imagination, just being able to see perception in the studio set
and looking at Red Sedum. The definition of Red Sedum Red Sedum says broaden your horizons. Making a choice requires a consideration
of all of all the facts however you cannot consider these facts if you cannot see them. Red Sedum helps you to widen your field of vision. So you can see with the whole picture from this perspective almost anything can look intriguing and full of possibilities and the number is six I you know I always put the number in just because Miss added nuance and I get them from various sources and I kind of pick intuitively what number goes with it and what definition of the number. So here is being in love with and obedient to life, both and this is really talking about this reciprocal relationship with life. This ability to participate with life as a conscious
sentient being with well an agency and being obedient at the same time. You know, I mean, this is kind of, you know, we talk about the patriarchy and we talk about
hierarchies and stuff, but this is a higher this is this is a natural hierarchy life. US, there are other things too, but you know, we are under we are subsumed by this greater thing of life that we're a part of, and yet we still have agency. And I just see this whole essence as, as our kind of like a clarion call to to be a mature, a spiritually mature person who can participate with life, and you can have a love affair with life without dropping into all the kinds of codependent traps we fall in with love. Love is bigger than that. That's the key essence to it. And that's what it's saying. Look at it. Our main job this spring, and what we're supported to do is really simply looking and it kind of reminds me I had this this picture when I first saw these essences I am not a sporty person at all. And I shouldn't say at all, but I'm not a sporty person. And I would play softball, maybe twice. And what I would do with if I was in the outfield and catching a ball that Mitt was a shield to the ball coming toward me. And I feel that that is kind of you know, emblematic of, of how I often treat things coming at me from life that I don't understand that and that are coming from. It would take some skill to catch in my opinion. Receiving has been very difficult for me, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same for you. Recently. I heard a this. Acupuncture is talking he was telling me it was he was saying this the advice he gave to his client when they were done with their treatment and he said you just need to apply yourself and you didn't it didn't matter what she applied yourself to. He said you have to apply yourself to something anything this is going to help you move forward and you must act from your sufficiency. And that phrase has stuck with me for for the weeks since I heard him say it. Because you know often being in love with something you know your partner, your children. Love can really prompt us to act out of our deficiency while I'm so tired but I do need to do this anyway or and that could be a good thing to do that could be acting out of use deficiency but if it's acting out of deficiency you're more likely to feel needy or to feel well put upon it. It sucks the life out of you were acting from your sufficiency where you know that I belong. I can draw on all the energy around me to do this. I know you everybody has had times. Everybody has had times where they have done great effortful things for people they love ever people they hardly know. And it hasn't depleted them because they were acting from their sufficiency. They were drawing on this on sufficiency, which is life which is the web of life that is part of your body that is part of your soul, your spirit. It's a big essence and it's a big a wake up call and a support. This Red Sedum so supporting it on either side, our stomach and Canterbury bells. Now stomach essence feels to me like it's it's it's the link to the Winter Solstice essence, stomach acids is it feels like the whole my hidey hole, my winter hidey hole where I spent a large a large chunk of the winter just kind of being down there and doing things like just navel gazing but it was a very quiet internal time. And here's stomach acids, talks all about being able to be welcoming to whatever is coming your way people experiences situations. And today all you have to do is welcome them. Before you judge whether it's there, it's in this this is this is a function also of this perception that the Red Sedum is talking about. Just look at it. Just be in front of it. Give yourself a few seconds to just welcome whatever this is before deciding what to do with it. The stomach acids talks about the distortions that we can build in that that that that prevent us from seeing events, particularly painful events or ugly events as gifts and it's not that everything has to be taken in it's not that everything has to be worked on or explored. But this act of just welcomed me from this very grounded place that I think the stomach essence supports the 11 drops of stomach acids in this essence, this combination for spring says life lives in vibrates in me. So again this is just this, this affirmation that I am consciously aware that I am not a separate being I do my separate things, but I am part of life. On the other side is Canterbury bells, which is another sixth chakra essence perception imagination. And this is one of my favorite essences because it is based on a song when I heard that definition for this essence I just heard this song from I think it was flower drum song. I can't remember which which musical this was from but you know gotta have a dream. If you don't have a dream. How are you going to have a dream come true. It has to do with our ability to use our imagination without attachment and that's the difficult thing without attachment and love gone bad can really mess with our ability to imagine without attachment and I don't mean just a love life gone bad. I mean, you know we're loving the Earth. We love our country we love so many things that seem to be either crumbling or betraying. Us. Canterbury bells, is imagining without attachment. And it also this essence the number 22 reiterates what is said in the stomach acids. Remember to celebrate everything. Do not estimate Do not underestimate the power of joy. And I just feel that that that kind of links to being able to welcome what's coming your way. So is this is a beautiful essence. So I would say take this in the morning and the night and in the morning I will kind of I will I would. And if you don't have the essence you can still you can still do the the action and I think it would be very appropriate but in the morning just say something like here I am eyes open. What what what gifts are coming my way today? What do I need to look at? What does life want for me something that that helps you to engage with life and to kind of set your
own kind of announce like I'm a plumber? I'm a milkman. I'm a I'm a stonemason. How could you use me? That kind of thing? What do I need to see? And then in the evening, I would, you know, it's just one of those good things to just say what did I see today?
What did I noticed today? How, how was how was Was I in love with life today? Was I present to life was I offering the gift that I am to life? So this is a lovely essence. And if you're still in your hidey hole, that's okay because you can peek out through the top. However you do, anyway, it seems like this is could be a volatile time I don't know. But this is what I have. Happy Spring
