I was born in Mohawk, Michigan, one block north of here. Union Street. This is on Staten Avenue and then there's 41. So I'm, I'm between the two roads. And I was born on June 9, 1925. In our home. Most of the people in those days, there weren't hospitals available, and they had the women that would come in and, uh, do the birthing. Let's put it that way. So that's where I was born and, lived here all my life, except the service. And then after the service, I worked for Calumet and Hecla in their security department for a little over 20 years, until they went out of business. While I worked for them, they, I was in a security department, and they got me one of their homes in New Alloez. So that's where I lived for about, I'd say 60 years, this house here belonged to the church, the Catholic Church. We were going to build a new church. Long story short, they wouldn't, the bishop wouldn't leave us build a new church and they got left with the home. And I bought this home probably four or five years ago, wanting to get back to Mohawk, smaller than the home I had in New Alloez. So, I've been back here for a good five years at least. Yeah.
