Welcome back to another SD City Times presentation of city knights basketball here at the Harry West gym. Today we are going to see a game between the 13th three city knights versus the two and 13 Imperial Valley desert warriors. I am Joe Panik. And with me as always, is Vince outlaw.
Great to be back here, Joe with yeah in the gym and seeing another night's game.
Absolutely. Today the Knights are looking to continue their dominance in conference play. They currently have a foreign Oh, record in conference play. And their average point differential in those four games is 35 points per game. That's not 35 points point differential in total that is average per game. So the dominance is most certainly real here from the st. City knights. Their last game coming on the road against Southwestern College last week. Imperial Valley comes into this game with a one in three conference record their only win last week against the s de mesa Olympians who the Knights handled pretty easily. week ago, their last home game. The history we've seen in the history between these teams does not look great for the Warriors, as the Knights beat them by 67 points and 68 points respectively in their two meetings last season now. It looks like another could be another tough night for the visiting team here at hairy West. Jim. What bright spots if any are you see on the Imperial Valley? Desert warriors team?
Well, thanks a lot, Joe. It's, as I said, great to be back here. We'll see what the Knights have against Imperial Valley, the desert warriors. The things to look for, that I'm seeing are a pair of twins. One of them time. Comb you or call me yo. We're gonna you know, we'll probably butcher that all night, Joe, but we're going to try. He is the leader in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference in rebounding at 12 and 12.3 rebounds per game. So he actually is their top top scorer overall also averaging 17 points a game. So he number 24 is going to be someone that we're going to want to look for. He's got a brother, who's also six five from Las Vegas, Taj calm yo, and he is also one of the leaders on the team. So those twins were we believe they're twins. We were making some assumptions here not having talked to them. But those two are there are their top scorers and top rebounders so the brothers looking to make a mark here in Harry West gym. They're going to be against a big team here in the San Diego City College knights. Some of the other leaders from the knights in conference play. kJ Bradley is the number fifth in Pacific Coast Conference Athletic Conference play at 17 points a game to go percentage number two in the conference is Alex Crawford. And if you saw any of the highlights from the other knights game at Southwestern or any of the other games actually I should just say you would see why he's just dominating underneath. If you look out on social media, the Knights Instagram I believe Alex Crawford highlight reel windmill dunks, Breakaway dunks, follow up rebound dunks Alec Crawford having a great great season so far. He is the leader actually number two in the conference in the field goal percentage and 63% and both City College has to in the top five of the conference in three point percentage with Kevin Love 45% and our green at 42%. They things really look stacked for the Knights. If we just look at points per game, the average for the Knights 82 points average for the Warriors 71 points and then the the the personal fouls per game is the only thing in the stats that the Knights have do more of than the Warriors is they fall a little more. But you know we know why that is is because they also generate quite a few turnovers and and steals. So the Knights play a very aggressive game and that shows in the number of fouls that they get so I'm sure that they're always trying to look look that up and see. But the the points per game allowed for the Knights is 65 versus 86 for the Warriors so we could see a high scoring game today too. And then you other knights are going to be trying to work their bench get some of those players and some plays and and do that but it's going to there's going to be a lot that the desert warriors are going to Imperial Valley desert where it's gonna need to do to make an impact on this game to my job
and as you said before the two brothers being six foot five Those are their tallest players are only players that are six foot five and then the Knights are coming in multiplayer six foot eight and taller. Once again it's been a story in conference play the height differential between the knights and their opponents so far this season, which could lead to a lot of easy buckets, a lot of dunks and as you said the the highlight reel in Alex Crawford and that is what we're gonna be selecting although we are not going to see the highlights from Dylan cubit this evening he is inactive for tonight's game. But as opposed to their last home game, Kevin Love Kevin Moore sorry, Kevin. Kevin Love as well. But Kevin Moore will be back after last week and then I believe Houston is still out. He's out for the season. So we're ready for this game. I can't wait to watch it again. We're holster another smooth game from the SD city knights basketball team and if you're interested in more stories about the knights and other sports as well as other things going around the campus you can check them out on SD city times.com Ready for tip off coming up next right here we go with the tip off and the desert warriors when it is going to be Tavarez over to Vargas and then to one of the Como brothers Taj that is active Vargas covered by ke V love starting off fast time camo with the ball. Underneath the seven seconds left on the shot clock stolen away by KJ Bradley runs a backup court find Stratton who goes right up with it and gets the buckets as we said and one by the way, as we said Dylan cubed out for this evening so we are getting Dylan's stretch or we're getting Stratton in Dexter Stratton rather in as the forward replacing him beautiful
no look pass they're by KJ Bradley after he got to kind of deep into the into the link. Stratton
sinks the first one or sinks the free throw Taj Kamal coming coming up with a ball over to Tavar Tavarez trap gets it away to team
he's looking for some space on green five seconds on the shot clock and they're gonna get a follow on looks like KJ Bradley
yep came down the bass line behind and got a little bit ARM they're trying to do the double team
imbalance from Vargas to Tavarez you're gonna drive it on Bradley kicks out to ta not Taj team rather loses the ball gets gets it back one on one with Alex Crawford puts it up and gets it in
a nice move to the basket
Bradley brings the ball up love in the corner takes the open three no good rebound for the desert warriors and Tavarez is gonna bring it up there's time with the ball and Crawford makes a good crossover and draws the foul
well there's a that's something that they can do is really kind of push it down and see if they can get some of the big men in foul trouble there
especially being down a big man for the for the game. Well
maybe a little strategy there from the desert warriors.
Time with the first shot
67% free throw shooter Komal they're
the second shot coming up one thing that's kind of funny with this shot as it goes in it does. I'm not sure the last time we've seen the Knights trailing even in the beginning of games so there's Bradley with the deep three in and out no good rebound from Vargas and Tavares is going to push it up the court CALGreen on him gets the looking for a screen from Taj nevermind trap from Stratton and that's out of bounds who's looking for Taj como the Ball
to see how the lack of a third referee impacts plays night to possibly
could get away with some something like that. It was green downtown Crawford lose the ball but green picks it back up takes a three off the front iron no good rebound from the desert warriors pushing up court and Taj como gets the fastbreak layin. Bradley over to green down to Stratton out to love green down the Stratton again so slow start here from the night so far 15 on the shot clock Bradley's you're going to take three he decides not to down to Crawford love driving in spin move back out to Bradley open three and he nails it
Bradley averaging 17 points as we said in the pregame getting his first three there
the threes were open it seemed one of them had to go down and that's going to be an opener the back on the desert warriors after the trap
the Knights are definitely moving the defense up man to man defense as usual but then also trapping
that same moment ago yeah, they weren't getting the open threes. They just were not going down until that last one for KJ
yeah one for four from three and then the Imperial Valley hasn't had any attempts from beyond the arc. But also Imperial Valley already forced into three turnovers by knights defense
the common common outcome playing the Knights we've discussed before they're giving up height and they have they have good length and active they you know they got big men but they're big men are fast they're long and they cover a lot of ground causes a lot of poped loose balls things is things that the such
yeah they keep the Knights keep the pressure on definitely the desert warriors falling falling back into their one to two ish one to two ish zone.
Enjoy the ball Gonzales checks in for Kevi love down underneath to Alex Crawford who makes a hard move to the basket and gets called with an offensive foul.
That's really interesting
that's to weave next to from Alex Crawford. So they're going to bring in Kevin Moore
no that's something that we didn't really think about his foul trouble but I mean we just we should have since they commit quite a few files but
Vargas is pushing up stolen away by Al Green is going to push it back the other way. It goes up with the layin and gets the two it's another steal for the Knights knights
picking up full court man a man
Tavarez was a ball and then trapping trapping him I was an over the back as well it's a second over the back in the first four minutes of the game from from Tavarez that's something you see a
ton but it's not It's not strange when you see the Knights pushing so far up on defense and trapping right up the top so
they're pushing fire up he's giving up a good amount of height too. It's hard to it's just a difficult situation to to overcome all say Bradley down to camber off his first appearance in this game there's Bradley taking the three no good rebound from time it's gonna bring it up gives it to his brother Taj driving into the basket pitches it out tucked away by Canberra and looked like he was looking for Fargas on the in the corner
well the Imperial Valley not afraid to take it to the hole at least was to two brothers
as far as with the inbound Isaac Vargas out to Jacob Vargas and they're gonna say he stepped on the outbound line before he took the three
screen with the inbound to Bradley
green with the ball back over to Bradley slowing it down here on this offensive possession down to Canberra who's got space and he puts it off the glass and as in Yeah, I'm
not sure that that's that's how that was drawn up. But with more coming out or with more coming out oops,
lost ball and there goes Bradley the other way with the layin and a wonderful double clutch I've stolen here at half court
nicely using the rim to protect the ball.
Blasi Dell is bringing the ball up over time over to Taj and that's going to be an up and down or jump ball jump ball. And that goes back to the Knights way
Kevin Moore with a nice defensive player getting a hand on that and actually pinning it to him
green bringing the ball up solace back to Bradley green all the way across court screen from more Bradley find some space drives in but he's unable to finish there's time drive taking up court. Got it to Munoz in the corner and now he pulls it back. Last Adel. Free love with the ball tries to get it in to tie in and green knocks it away and now it's knights ball. There's camber off on the fast break back out to Bradley who takes it back in kicks it out again Al Green call a foul on
me the Knights are up by six but the zone defense from Imperial Valley given them a little bit of a little bit of work
it's like they're still trying to figure out what their best best tactic is to penetrate the zone half of
their shots are from the three.
Stratton around the love to more takes the three no good and they lose the ball Stratton is unable to get it and back the other way with Breedlove found a placid l underneath to Tosh who goes up with it over camera Robin is no good. Rebound from Canberra and Gonzalez goes back the other way makes a good move to the basket and does not draw a foul
ball slipped out as he went up, tipped
away by the desert warriors and it's gonna stay here with the Knights
Yeah, it's a very interesting offense that coach Harlands has his knights running almost everybody out around the circle.
Canberra punk fake goes back to love who takes it in back out to Canberra have a pump thanks again. Mid range sinks it smooth, very smooth with that mid range jumper from Camp trough. There's Taj bringing it up on Stratton and he does it again. Camber
off in the in the way there put himself in great position for that one. That's something that the Knights can do to counter the driving to the basket that the warrior desert warriors are doing
some frustration from Taj as he goes to the bench
and solace that's his second foul.
Love in the corner. Throws it off the foot of time.
Yeah, that's got to hurt a little bit to have one of your top scorers and rebounders now on the bench with two fouls
it's also the inbound find Stratton underneath the basket he loses the ball and it's picked up stolen away by the desert warriors time is taken up the other way Kevin Moore takes a tumble in the corner Augustine note back out to blast Adele sides against the three and he's gonna drive into traffic Feinstein with a foot up but it's no good. Rose it but draws the foul. Nice
move. Nice move to the bucket by Bleasdale on the night of the warriors and a dish
for shot from iron in and out. kJ Bradley comes back in places Kevin more like our third referee has arrived. Well there you go. The second one is in 14 to seven nights KJ bringing the ball up. Alex Crawford is then fine strat and wide open for a put for a put up From the left side Easy, easy going.
Nice look and nice bucket at the off hand to buy strap.
Who knows what the ball covered by Bradley? He's going to drive right into the basket and puts it up no good time with the rebound no good as well.
Munoz taking it, taking it right to the hole to there.
You just kind of bullying Bradley right? Yeah. No stopping him.
Oh, because Charles is talking to him about a little bit of arm flailing.
First shot. It's good. 16 Eight. It's again. Alex Crawford has been out for a little bit ever since he had two personal fouls to start the game. Second shot is good.
He's way down on the bench so I'm not sure when he's going to be getting in. So
to have Alex Crawford out with foul trouble out of bounce on KJ Bradley and he hits the three on that one too. But after the play does not count so they're gonna have they're having to rely on their backup forwards here the Knights are on Stratton and camber off of time. To last dough over to Fargas trap is able to get the ball back wonderful behind the head pass to tiny mini hook shots no good. Rebound
bootstrap our mood goes
heavy love with the drive but cannot finish and there goes time the other way. Call him on the travel.
Yeah. I'd like to see the replay on that one. He looked like he gathered the ball and took two and
Bradley to love. Gonzalez finds Canberra have back out to love rallies wide open but does not take three drives in finds Gonzalez open for the three no good. Stratton is going to get that rebound resetting back up fresh shot clock. Love it three makes a move drives in sorry not love Bradley rather and he gets the left handed lion
Augustine gets it back to team they're trying to trap in the back court and a jaw fall a
little bit too much reaching in on that look like a camber off and, like Stratton had him
inbound from tiny,
tiny lights playing playing to form as far as personal files are concerned. Six files already to three for Imperial Valley.
Brain Crawford back in Bondi Castillo
that was Canberra Rob's second file to the
team in the corner to Vargas Isaac Vargas that is back to tahini lose the ball is Kevin Love with the steel. And he finds Stratton who makes a great pump fake is able to put it off the glass and then jump
stop also before that, actually gather himself and not walk
time's gonna bring the ball up. Finds Isaac Vargas in the corner for three no good rebound tipped actually back over to Vargas and he drives up with a basket a wild underhand. Wow. He gets it 22 11k J Bradley does Stratton to love takes the three deep and it is good.
And there is your number three in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference. Three point percentage.
Love Big Lebowski three men on time bringing the ball up there. Green to love he's gonna take another open three in and out no good
time out from the Warriors. The desert warriors that is
desert warriors. The Knights Kevin Love with three is getting that three pointer there. kJ Bradley was set Haven't extra Stratton also was seven but he's got 2000 This is a little bit of a of a worry with Alex Crawford to in his Canberra off to Stratton excuse me has has none but Canberra off two and Stratton two and Crawford two fouls little bit of a worry there and not the runaway although up 12 At the 10 minute mark is pretty good and on par for what the Knights are doing. Time promo for Imperial desert Imperial Valley desert warriors I'm gonna get that before this nights out. Imperial Valley desert warriors at seven points Isaac Vargas with two Taj comio with two I can't be there only stores because
I see I believe it's IVC that's what I have on some of their IVC some of their gear IVC desert warrior okay, maybe that's easier. Hey go IVC we're still learning
it's interesting the stats go to soar in that Munoz had a nice little no it was Vargas that had that nice little move to the bucket there. So
all right. Desert warriors ball inbound here ideal in the back there. They're gonna plate tight on him. He steals the ball away but he was standing out of balance.
At nights press is really confounding the desert warriors.
And Taj como is back in team is out now. That's 10 seconds. Is that 10 seconds in the in the backcourt
Imperial Valley not aware that they only had a couple seconds left weren't thinking that way for their 13th turnover of the game.
Strategy to love they haven't been able to capitalize on the turnovers quite as much as they did. Much much as they usually do. Considering the amount of turnovers the the desert warriors have Bradley with the inbound finds love Crawford cross court to love thanks a drive to the basket lefthand wonderful scoop and score Nice
playing with contact they're playing through contact I should say and getting that with the left jobs
where he was able to break the press Taj with the jumper no good. Stratton with the rebound. He's going to push it against that. Finds Bradley all attempted but blocked away. Green gets the ball. Here's Crawford with it and he does just a standing dunk. Sometimes you just can't stop it right. That's the highlight reel. That's right.
But that was a fantastic a fantastic block by Tosh. Absolutely
stolen away by Bradley and he's gonna sprint down court one on one Nope. Just let them go lay it in. And now this game is starting to blow wide open. Fargas across court. lost by the desert warriors knights had the ball again Bradley finds Crawford on a much smaller player but he ends up kind of tying him up. Good defense from Jacob Vargas there Stratton with a mid range jumper off the front iron and it bounces around the world and in gets
the city he gets the city knights bounce on now on the
Hill knows he knows these rims Yes he does. 20 point lead now from the Knights this press is becoming an issue for the desert warriors tipped away gathered up by Crawford just tipped away by
green just quick hands by the Knights Stratton
takes the transition three's no good rebounder by Taj. Here goes Isaac Vargas the other way helped away again.
Lots of quick hands by the Knights as we've seen in previous games.
tabrez drives in be a follow on Al Green and they're going to shoot the one in one. They've made it to the seven fall
I wasn't quite sure I saw that as as a shooting foul
there. I believe they're in the bonus.
Yes, they are. Although
it would be a one on one. They give us You didn't call that's what yeah, it isn't one on one but value is not each
each rep is saying something different. This rep here was one
in one yeah, there wasn't one on one that that was confusing Valley didn't put any players underneath to try to get a rebound. They just conceded the one in one camper off finds Gonzalez open for three no good. Short looks like
that. I don't know if there may have been a little bit of a tip there by Taj
was quite close. As far as here on Bradley letting them play finds Isaac Vargas finds Taj out to tie him with the three no good and Kasparov is gonna get the rebound. Knights bring it back the other way. Salix Crawford for three and he gets it in one shot.
When your big guys are hitting the threes things are looking good for you. Any
go city is taking a lot of three pointers although they're not making I think as many as they would like to
25%
Tavarez finds an open shakeup Vargas from the corner no good. Gonzalez with the rebound. Night ball camper off note over to Gonzales. Eventually down to Bradley good movement from this night's team and Crawford goes back to back from three nights
Wow incredible position bucket there by Vargas Che Guevara
was able to sneak past the press defense and get the lay and right over Kevin Moore. The much smaller Jacob Vargas over the match caller Kevin Moore. kJ Bradley with the screen from Crawford das finds a wide open Canberra of takes it air balls that though tame the other way they lose Is it another steal for the Knights? Gonzalez back the other way. Kevin Moore with the mid range. No good rebound from Tosh.
Good to see him more back on the court tonight.
strikeout just Isaac Vargas looking for the trap. He's able to get out of it. But he carries a carry is underneath is that is that what that one is? Yeah. Or
as we've talked about before, palming Yes. Oh me. Falling, which really is a thing.
If you're the 1990s It's palming. 2024 It's a carry.
Ask you got me on that one. If it's the 1990s it's Kevin Moore
to Bradley. See if they can find Crawford from three at another time. He's making his damage all around the court. I was just gonna say from three but then anally, you've come served right up. gives them the 26 point lead.
Crawford is making his presence known here. Since coming back
in trap is able to find an open breed lover the three but no good. And Crawford gets the rebound Kevin more back the other way. There's Bradley in the corner drives in he slips Oh, Tom Tosh slipped Bunny was made then took advantage of the falling defender but the help caused and fall stopped the basket from going in.
Bradley with a nice move underneath the basket and taking it up and under but just couldn't get it to fall. Took a lot of contact and nice little slide there.
kJ Bradley shoots to 404 left here in the first half. And the city knights get to 40 on the evening.
Bradley shooting 77% from the line so far this year
second shot
good Bradley also the leader in attempts for the knights
to bygone by Gonzalez gonna stay here with the desert warriors.
Time at the inbound man to man trapping press another stole steal their money And then I'd set it up Canberra I've opened in the corner for three off the front iron no good. Rebound from Stratton finds green but he's able to put it he's unable to put it in and they're gonna push the pace Taj driving down on Bradley no good. And Bradley gets the rebound behind the back goes up with it finds Canberra off and he does is unable to put it in. Lots of opportunities here from the nice but they're able to capitalize the past couple of times. There's time
Yeah, it was a nice little drop back pass.
There he is again, on the same player. Canberra have drawn up the charges.
I think that's gonna be his.
Some would call him an artist. An artist like good at drawing a charge
a charging charge or charge drawing artist.
Junior college basketball the players have to mop up the court when they fall down. Al Green substituted in for the
I was wondering if they're gonna call one of us to do it. on that slide.
I was expecting this camera of mid range off the back iron no good. Coming back the other way with the Knights or with the Warriors. Bad throw from blasdell intended for Augustine goes out of bounds. Knights ball 303 less than a half 41 to 13.
Taking a look at some team stats. Here Joe. The Knights shooting 47% from the field 17 to 36 415 from three at 26% and three for three from the line. Desert warriors for for 14 28% from the field over four from three and five for seven from the free throw line. The Knights defense just really taking it to the desert warriors forcing 21 turnovers in the first half from Imperial knife compared to three turnovers for San Diego city. And the city has done a pretty good job converting those 21 points off turnovers and the rebounding is in favor of Imperial Valley 17 rebounds to 13
You know you can especially when you're when you're given up the height you have the athleticism I'd say you know you could give maybe your team can have we have a poor shooting day missing threes as they've 26% from Korea is not exactly what the knights would want. But with that length and athleticism you can really shows up on the defensive side if you get active where we're seeing as 11 steals they have two more steals than defensive rebounds
a ton of attempts 14 field goal attempts for Imperial Valley to 36 field goal attempts, Knights
have more field goals made than the Imperial Valley has attempted
excellent observation is
green underneath the camber off fine strat out is able to recover Stratton bullying underneath and gets this basket
against the shorter Augustine there's really no match there
there's time with the ball on the wing he's gonna take the three strat and let them take it and it's no good. Callaway making his first appearance in the game here screens from camera green takes the cover too and is able to make it right over time. Almost like like a hit him in the hand.
That's just good shooting.
Continuing with the full court press they're open three rattles at in from breathe love
that's a good answer to the press. Just need a few more of those. It's their first three
screen underneath the Stratton they're just gonna wait away no good
last nail driving in on Callaway kicks it back out to braid look takes a three no good rebound from team does a nice spin move shoots it up off the iron no good camber off of the rebound and green taking it back the other way. Guys into the basket goes up with it is unable to draw fall. We're calling Jump ball that is going to be desert warriors ball
last fall with the ball bringing it up covered by green from the corner that was Jacob Vargas with the three pointer starting to fall for the desert warriors in Charlotte is not happy about it
I think Charles has seen a few open threes there and not too happy with the Knights giving back and in really doing it to them. We got halftime coming up well we'll take a look at what other some other action in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference a little bit of news for knights athletics here at City College we've got a few little things to go through at halftime. Give you the stats. And more. That's coming up at halftime. We're about a minute out
exactly one minute and of course if you want to read anything more maybe something about the last game or after this game is over a little article about this game or anything else going on in the San Diego City College sphere. I guess we'll call it go to SD city times.com
Charlton's wanted to seems to want to finish the half off strong camber of makes a good move is able to get the basket and the roll, nice
play
time bringing it up, covered by drag and look into the trap. He's able to find number two, it's throws it away. And now Callaway coming back with the lay in and he kept at farmer's body to avoid that block that was quite incredible.
Nice move there
steel with the ball down to time out to Jacob Vargas takes the open three no good rebound from Canberra off 432 seconds left looks like greens gonna take it. No good. That ends them at the half of the 30 point lead here and Harry West Jim 49 to 19.
Yeah, the, the length of the nights and just the activity on defense, really forcing lots of turnovers as we've mentioned, and we'll we'll go through a little bit of that, but just kind of just overpowering as we kind of expected when we started this off, Joe. Let's see what we got outs going on in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference here on the 10th of January. We're here at halftime. 4919 here at the Harry West gym. San Diego city over Imperial Valley also tonight at a 6pm start. It's Palomar at Grossmont then a couple 7pm starts here in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Southwestern will be heading to Mira Costa and Kuya Maca is at San Diego Mesa. The standings in the civic Coast Athletic Conference as follows both San Diego City and San Diego Miramar a top undefeated with four wins Mira Costa has got three they're undefeated two but only three games so far in their in their quiver. Southwestern in fourth with to a to record Cuyamaca at one and two Grossmont and Imperial Valley also both at one and three and then Palomar and San Diego Mesa both winless so far in conference play. Taking a quick look at the stats for our game here. 4919 here at halftime. And the team's we kind of went through the through what bolsa teamStats we're taking a look at the stats for the Imperial Valley College desert warriors. We've got time como at seven points. Jacob Vargas with five Teesha Tasia breed love with three Isaac Vargas a two and Tosh brother of time como with two points also rebounding is kind of playing out as it has previously for Imperial Valley without time como with 10 rebounds. So already 10 He's got 10 rebounds and seven points so he's working towards a double double looking at the other side of that. And the night KJ Bradley and Dexter Stratton, leading scorers with 11 points Alec Crawford with 10 and that's sitting a
majority house nancial
amount in the first half. He has two fouls, and so that kind of kept him out but he got back in there. Then his camber off Nice moves was six points. Kevin Love with five our green with for Sean Callaway to right there near the end of the half. rebounding, Dennis camber off with six, Dexter Stratton with four and the loss of Dillon cubit is just not coming up here against this type of competition. Something
I'm seeing that's pretty interesting about this game as the mainly it's the field goals here from these teams. The the knights, the rebounds, it's interesting, you can see that they the Imperial Valley desert warriors have 17 defensive rebounds five more than the Knights but I think it's just because the Knights have so many shot opportunities that they're just getting more defensive rebounds. They have 42 to 20 when it comes to shot opportunities, and 21 which is one more the one more made field goal from the Knights over the war over the desert warriors by one.
Yeah, that's a good that's a good observation there, Joe, that those defensive rebound numbers are just highs because there's just too too many shots. So many shots being taken by the nines and you know, would be higher except the Knights basketballs are going in the bucket too. So yeah, that's a that's a very good point. That just is you know, those 22 turnovers 25 points off of turnovers for the Knights versus four points for turnover. You know, there's only been four turnovers and I think that's probably something that coach Charlton's is going to be happy to see that his team is taking care of the ball a little bit more. The desert warriors playing zone for quite a bit of that half also. And I saw that as given the Knights a little bit of trouble, but you'd really never know it based on the score here.
Another another little detail here that kind of shows where this game has been going as 22 turnovers from Imperial Valley 19 points. You can't turn the ball over more than you score. Yeah, that is not exactly winning. a winning formula. No, it is formula. So it is it's been a tough day so far for the Imperial Valley doesn't warriors as we had expected and the city knights although i i will say I'm mildly surprised, surprised and impressed by their defense. They've been able It seems they've been able to frustrate the the Knights a bit on offense. Yeah, it's they're
taking they're really, really pressing them. When they're not picking up. full court press. They're picking up three quarters, but they're letting them come across and then they're applying a trap at the top. In most cases, the end that trap with bigger players is really been the kind of the the key to those 20 Those 20 Plus turnovers from the for the the desert warriors
well the desert warriors have been able to really force the Knights out of the out of the pate seemingly for the most part and giving them a lot of three pointers a lot of open three pointers and on luckily for the Knights they haven't been going in although still up by 30 points. So I guess it's it's not the biggest deal but if there was anything to look at the warriors and their what they've been doing, I'd say that's been that's been nice from them as their big is their ability to at least slow down the easy points from the from the war from the Knights.
Yep. There's some other news also in San Diego city college sports. And we want to send out a big congratulations to a full time faculty member and a former men's cross country coach here at San Diego City College Paul Grier selected to serve as the USA national team coach for the men's under 20 national team. And as part of the USA TF national team staff For the 2024 world athletics cross country championships, so a big shout out to Paul Grier for moving and having such great success there. And shout out to him
gratulations Paul Greer, congratulations,
Paul Greer. I'll see if there's any more news out here that we can give folks. I guess we could look at the upcoming schedule for the City College nights. We're here with Imperial Valley. And then coming up a week from tonight, out at San Diego Miramar on the road. And Joe, and I'll be back with you. In 10 days or so, the 19th. Friday, back here at hairy with Jim for a game versus Palomar. So hopefully we'll see a few more people. We got a little bit of a crowd here. But it is definitely a low crowd when school's not in. And then then the nights after that hit the road for the rest of January mera Costa Grossmont, Cuyamaca. And even into February at San Diego Mesa. So there's quite a few road games coming up for the nights, the number three in the in the state nights. So they're one of the things that I've been thinking about Joe and I don't know, maybe I'm just a pessimist but the the kind of overwhelming dominance of the Knights so far in conference play, really kind of gives me some worry about not worrying, just thinking about what they're going to look like when it comes down to playing some of those ranked teams again, like they did at the front. You know, maybe you know, it's the same for everybody at the top. But there they'll be coming into postseason play, kind of not having been stressed quite a bit so I don't know what you think about them.
Well, luckily for them I mean, we haven't seen them go against the the two other undefeated in the conference, who it doesn't seem that they it doesn't seem that they're on the same. They don't have the same pedigree or caliber that the Knights have but Miramar is forno and Mira Costa is three No, and they're, they're winning games, and next week actually is going to be an away game for the Knights against the San Diego Miramar who I believe won the conference last year if I'm correct, so. So I guess that'll be the first the kind of their first test since they since they last last I will say because I believe I don't believe they've been really been tested since they last two was that West LA or earlier on this season. That's what it was. I believe it was West LA as their last la back
in December December 9. So we're now a month away from their last loss.
And since then, it's been it's been a bunch of all the conference games and as we said 35 points on average and this one's already at 30. Seems they might extend their wins over conference opponents this season. So we'll see how the Miramar game goes and we'll see how the second half goes we will take a little break here and then we'll be back for the second half. Check out any any information you want to know about the San Diego city knights and what's going on around campus. Check it out in SD City Times that calm second half coming up next.
And here we are back for the second half. Starting night's ball. kJ Bradley right in front of us. And Al Green is gonna take it up. Screen from Crawford green finds Crawford underneath out to Stratton around the two Bradley goes into the basket he gets the ball tipped out recovered Crawford dunk.
No problem dunking for Crawford was a interesting look. Crawford gave up on her an early bucket in that last sequence
came over to Taj out to Isaac Vargas gonna take a mid range fade no good off of Crawford's leg and it's gonna stay with the desert warriors
six seconds on the shot clock. Vargas was the inbound, swatted away by Kevi love stays with IVC came with inbound. Jacob Vargas four seconds on the shot clock counting down Tavarez with the ball. can not get the shot off over Alex Crawford
yeah that was that was not the match. I think they wanted to match up they wanted on that like I wouldn't think so.
As Al Green with a ball screen from Crawford, going underneath the basket fires out to Stratton back to Bradley looks to be a similar play they ran there. I want to say it was the same sequence same sequence and said Bradley keeps it instead of dishes it off to Crawford and goes up with it. trapped here in the back corner he picked up his dribble he's losing it. There's 10 finds Tavarez is out to Isaac Vargas is able to get green to jump in unable to put the ball in the basket though Kevin Love with the rebound. Looks like a follow on Vargas might have kind of made contact with this face they're
kind of looked like it's not a thought that
screen Crawford finds the value from green to Yeezy with that one wow. Crawford adds
a little bit of sauce to that one with the bringing it back a bit and then dunking it
off or trying to get the steel there drawers is was that gonna be a third follow the MiG still gotta be a little careful it looks like Canberra is gonna be called into I'm assuming relief. Crawford after his third. There is however as getting trapped but is able to find Taj and it's just stolen away. By green and there goes Stratton with a dark green just that was a full just yoink he just took it out of his hands took it out of his hands. There was no Pope there was nothing It was just a grab Tabora Tavarez to barres the drive and the Les
Crawford did not go after that one. Bradley
Bradley to love up and under lay in is good. pushing it down in court Jacob rather Isaac Vargas with the points
IVC to move the ball quickly down the court. That's how
you get out of a press right at the ball. And finding some open spaces now figuring out how to decipher this defense a bit better. The past couple of possessions too bad for them. The Knights have been scoring pretty easily now as the second half has began
already pushing it up 36 Point
Crawford's out. Canberra was in and he gets it green underneath the strat and he's got great positioning unable to make it unable to get the put back as well. Something you got to finish right there close however as of able to find Vargas open for three what a step and jump in put in Great move to the back there
at least getting a few of those buckets to fall
in love that a follow on tie ship that's going to be for from him. Augustine is going to come back in
about out to camber off over to green notes. Almost loses it
there gonna be a follow on time now.
That's his second foul
and bone from Gonzales to love. Going up for it is unable to get it gets his own rebound and puts it back in time was able to come here and give some help but
I'd love to stay with it
right here Tavarez playing hard gets it over to Vargas underneath is that Augustine but he loses it and it's going to be nice ball.
Again the just the intense defense switching picking up when people go around the nightsky fences really stellar
nose comes in. It goes green he finds a wide open lane goes right up with the left hand over the over Fargas it looked like there's my nose with the ball pushing it up cord on Stratton back out to Vargas who drives into the basket and love is able to draw the charge.
Good positioning by love to
as you stated before the desert warriors do drive hard towards the basket so getting those getting those charge follows are going to help slow them down. There's green over the love going and going up against a much smaller bar as but is unable to get the basket team driving on Canberra good pump for a pullback but no good on the shot
green over to Canberra of gets time to jump drives underneath basket kicks it out to love over to Stratton now 15 on the shot clock. He's going one on one on Augustine but it gets knocked away.
Nice hands by Augustine to get his paws in the way there that's
time gets the ball back over to Munoz over to have to borrow goes back over to Munoz would you call that a teardrop that teardrop bake up court to Stratton is unable to put it in and it's going to be off with him is
a good attempt by Stratton with his offhand to the whole but just didn't finish
like straighten out a couple couple of rough interactions Down Under and give him a break for a moment
first look at Nick stricker.
Tonight Jacob Vargas was a ball covered by green tipped it away tipped it away again stolen away by Kevin Moore green takes it right to the hoop no follows called fast break out
green with multiple hands on the ball and then appropriately gets the finish. Vargas
syncs the three though ever overall green after all of that. Now I'll steal the ball a couple of times his hands have been on fire today with the steals there goes Gonzalez going hard to the basket is able to draw the fall down for a moment but looks like he's going to be all right back up
something Gonzalez to the line
shooting to
70% on the free throw. Only shot 10 so far but
this is the first one Todd is gonna come back in with four falls. Augustine coming back out
second shot rattles in gives the Knights a 40 or 38 point lead here's MNOs with a ball tight coverage from Gonzalez a trap from oh wow stolen away by Bradley Bradley taking it the other way Leu to Canberra was unable to finish it did not look quite ready for it there's time driving to the basket no good Taj with the put back though.
Yeah down on the other end. That was a great look by KJ Bradley Kambrook just couldn't finish it and then foul on the tip.
Kimbrough do that look to be in position with the shot that with the past that Bradley was serving up to him and one from Taj and as a good
35 point lead here from the Knights Bradley would the ball driving and untie him out distract her character finds Gonzalez who drives into the basket in Canberra with the mid range sinks it might say he's almost automatic from that mid range
that's his sweet spot seems like
splashdown with a ball cover back striker
Taj holds it it's gonna drive into the basket screen from his brother lays it up and over the much shorter Gonzales
that was good recognizing that he had that lane there well KJ
Bradley then aggressive move underneath looking for a fall although hit the head a bit of a push there as well. The three is good Vargas is heating up Dallas with the ball
back to 32 points
driving underneath the basket
just sweet shot by consols Getting to the spot
once you get underneath the hoop like that it's a there's KJ Bradley with the steel off the pass drives in it's gonna be a fall on Laz del and Alex Crawford is going to come back in in relief of Gonzalez
was a different position for the knights to be in six out team files for see oh wow
underneath a Crawford and just a quick don't
sabotage and a fall on camber off number 21
got a lot of back and put much more scoring in this second half so far it seems at least from the
from the desert warriors Yeah, they're really really not saying goodbye to this one they
have almost this one they've almost matched their first their first half total 17 points here in the second half 19 In the first and we're not even 11 minutes we're not even nine minutes in front iron for time
sort of conversation going on here between the rafts Okay, current night's lineup is Bradley Strecker more Crawford and Canberra sinks the second one is Bradley in the corner screen from Crawford drives in lose the ball guys seems like almost lost the ball going up with it there
seems like if you had a nice hesitation move though to get an easy look at the bucket
there's Vargas with the three no good he's been almost automatic from three the past this half is handled on the more takes the open three and he sinks it that puts the Knights at 75
raising that three point average a bit 33 knows the Knights are shooting 33%
targets over to Taj and next to him rather and looks like they're gonna call a follow on Kevin more. Give me a second was a little bump there from Alice carpet I saw when Taj brought the ball up. You can see him kind of because he's already has three on the evening.
Don't want to get that fourth
star to the ball over to Vargas who takes the three and he sinks it he has been wow what a half shining light the second half for that Spradley down to Canberra of going up with it kicks it out to more who takes a three and he's back to back on threes.
Pushing the lead back up to 38th
trap the ball unable to get it there's Vargas open at three again and he sinks in Oh my goodness. That's for for him in the second half.
The rotation the Knights rotation on defense is something also that I'm seeing. They're really when they put on the press, do a little bit of tramp it really seems like that the other knights are doing a really good job of anticipating where the ball is going to be thrown. And usually those throws are in under duress so given the Knights a shot at being able to poke the ball away but the Imperial Valley seems to be playing a little bit cleaner game this second half not as many turnovers and knights are really taking good care of the ball the one turnover in this first 10 minutes of the of that second half
the Knights are both teams on offense I believe are playing cleaner in general it seems that we're that we're looking at here and they're in they're making their shots especially the especially in pier valleys getting their shots from three finally and actually so are the Knights. The Knights came in from that second half in the 20 mid 20% Now they're up to the mid 30% from three much more movement in general from both teams around the cord and getting getting open shots.
Yeah, just the Knights are just really just too big underneath the points in the paint 50 points in the pain for the Knights and 16 points for Imperial Valley. So
the points in the pain in the second half I feel like are coming coming in droves now. Yep, yep, yep. kJ Bradley bringing the ball up here. over to Kevin Moore. Striker takes the three no good short. Vasquez taking the ball up now for the desert warriors over to Taj playing tight by Kevin Moore. And he loses the ball but he's able to pick it back up as fast as now with it finds to him underneath. But it is overthrown and out of bounds unable to get a handle on it for time. Kevin Moore with the inbound knights winning 78 to 43 with nine and a half left in the second half here at Harry West gym. There's Bradley over to Crawford knights gonna slow it down a bit here. Crawford loses the ball completely take pick it up by Vargas going back the other way. And he draws the foul and gets the layup and as a chance for a three point play
Jacob Vargas at 1.6% from the free throw line having a wonderful second half year multiple threes and a three point play
KJ Bradley bringing the ball up more over Crawford Stryker in the corner back to Crawford more with it again. Driving to the basket in the middle takes fadeaway jumper off the front iron is no good. They're gonna call a foul on KJ Bradley and that's going to be seven puts them in the bonus and we're shooting a one and one to him can be shooting the one in one here
eight points for him on the evening second leading scorer after this explosion from Jacob Vargas in the second half
no good on the second one. Canberra with rebound. Kevin Moore. Three new knights are going to come in here once the clock stops there striker with the ball underneath the camber off over to Bradley in the corner. He's got space he goes up and under within his no good but he draws a foul it's gonna be 24 Looks like that's time shooting to for Bradley 829 left here
829 here in the second half right the sinks the first one sends Bradley up to 13 points on the Day Three for three from the free throw line. See if you can stay perfect here with a second free throw and get the knights to AD and he does Hey guys, Todd is taking the ball off the court covered by Crawford. Look for the strap. The trap was Stratton over to Team Vargas now covered by Bradley tries to catch time and a cut but he did not cut to the basket there's Bradley with the open transition three shoots that long though rebound from Taj going back the other way for the Warriors almost out of bounds but it's picked up from by grid love underneath the Vargas it goes right to the basket off the back I are no good with the put back from Taj quick put back from him. Wow. Good play there by the desert warriors. There goes KJ Bradley going out into the basket. Gets the ball stolen away by Jacob Vargas pushes it up court Breedlove tipped off of love's hand and almost getting hit by the basketball more out here from time
to time, bargains with the ball. That's gonna go off the foot of kJ Bradley it looks like
20 seconds left on the shot clock tame with the inbound. A lot of pressure here from the Knights always looking for the trap. There's Taj covered by Crawford. Gonna find Vargas they're trying to avoid him taken threes. And it looked like they got the play that they were unable to connect on with Taj cutting to the basket. After the double team on Jacob Vargas. There goes Bradley kick out to love love takes the three swish nothing but not another good three from Kevi love to Castillo throws it up over to Tom she's able to reel it in back to Castillo was Isaac Vargas. Now a team with the ball covered by Kevi love shoots it very short airball from the desert warriors and there's Bradley going behind the back hits off his own he'll loses it Crawford picks it up strat and loses it and now Taj goes the other way with the layup got a bit sloppy play here from the Knights here. Bradley losing it strat and losing it looks like we are charlatans is calling a timeout looking for a little bit of help here. Maybe calm has teamed down a bit sloppy play on the court from the Knights.
Hey, back to 30 points.
Out of loose balls and some and some good plays. I think the thing that three pointers from Isaac or from Jacob Vargas have put a lot of pressure on the Knights defense to adjust and that's given some opportunities to some other players. A really good double trap attempt from the knights and Vargas was able to find Tosh cutting to the basket mirneasy score a little bit ago. Do you want to know more about the San Diego city knights basketball and other sports as well as anything else going on around campus. Winter Session is in right now. Check it out at SD city times.com spring session coming up soon. Coming
up soon. We got a couple more weeks and then we're back. Back at it.
Zhao green out Crawford. Looks like KJ was looking for an ally up there and it almost looked like it was in a shot attempt. Or barely imbalanced from Jacob Vargas. He finds Taj and there it is again. He's drawn a lot of attention from this knights defense leaving openings as Bradley with the ball takes the open three swish
yeah the Knights seem to have been be a little tentative on offense
and there it is. Once again Vargas has moved away from score and turning into facilitator as this game has continued on their strategy wide open and blown coverage there from the desert Warriors Three pass
to by KJ Bradley
Castillo Taj
Bradley already with five assists tonight.
Underneath there's Castillo with the open three in and out and Kathy love with the rebound. And he's going to take it up himself. Screen from Crawford 31 point game here. There's love going up with it draws a follow up from Isaac Vargas. And that is in a set of the line
could pick out here on top by Alex Crawford. He sent
Castillo to the floor who the floor
Callaway Canberra even more common in first free throw rattles in might get our 100 point game today. Love
shooting at 8% from the free throw line.
He's shooting phenomenally this season and he's shooting well today as well.
Yeah, his his lines are really good 46 from the field 45 from 3% I should say 88 from the free throw line. Yeah.
Love is also two from four to four today from the 3.5 or 10 from the field I
guess that's why he's number three in three point percentage in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference, steal
over to time steal it back into time. Vargas from the corner and nothing can stop this guy today. He
is shooting well.
Oh my goodness. Kevin Moore with the ball and stolen away by Castile. He's pushing it up the cord from behind the back then stolen back by Kevin Moore throws it down to Canberra off who draws that's just I think he got two fouls play Fargas and and Johnson converging on him at the same time. Yeah,
Jacob Vargas for IVC really having a having a game six or nine for three from three eight for 12 from the field 23 points.
And I want to say those those assists started showing up after the three pointers came in all of a sudden he becomes a threat you have to they started trapping him and I was opening up some easy buckets from from other warrior players observation there. Taj Taj is the one who was getting a lot of those points and now he's second on the team with 15 Castillo with a ball over to time Jacob Vargas down to time down to Castillo back out to Johnson for three no good and they're gonna get the fall on from Kevin Moore yep now team's gonna shoot to
the the IBC the Warriors desert warriors not saying goodbye easily here. Even though it is still a 28 point game
is the one on one rather. Canberra with rebound. Green Bradley screen camber off down to Canberra off stolen away though the past time as the ball covered by Kevin Moore. Wide open from three no good rebound from Vargas covered by green no good as well but gets his own rebound is able to jaw
loose ball foul VARK is all over the floor
and that's that that there is Isaac Vargas Vargas Then Jacob Vargas. That three pointer was attempted by last Dell was no good. Vargas getting his rebounds and getting his attempts one in one
shot is good
shooting 63% from free throw line on the season and about that so far tonight 66% for the desert warriors
it's the second 126 point game
six point game you
kind of come back as not still not probable or maybe even possible but Imperial Valley has won the second half so far. We get 45 to 41 if they
can wipe that first half away 4541 Imperial Valley over the Knights as you were saying so Imperial Valley having a good second half just hitting a lot more shots than they were in the first half and
can be a difficult game to you don't know yet. I mean it's basketball you don't know who can get hot and this Imperial Valley Fargas has gotten hot and it's caused some serious troubles for the Knights in the second half
they just need to put put together 40 minutes of that but taking a look at here the three minute to play Mark Yeah the the as as you can tell the shots have kind of gotten a little bit closer as the Imperial Valley's had a good second half year against the Knights not sure that I can exactly pinpoint what anything the Knights are doing differently although like I said it seems like they're a little more tentative on the offensive end but Imperial Valley really doing it now putting on a little bit of a presser and it's got a turnover. That's a
travel from our grain
time with the inbound
takes the deep jumper time does and it is off the front iron no good Kevin more with the rebound. Almost loses the ball their travel time almost lose the ball again. Underneath Al Green with the easy layup. Nice pass. They're
recovering from fuel fumbles
and Jacob Barghest bringing the ball up covered by Gonzalez. Spin goes up with it. It's able to draw the foul but it's no good on the shot. Shoot to from Jacob Vargas and B some more points for him. Coming into this half he was one for three from three point and five points. And now he is six for nine with 23 points
quite a second half for Jacob Vargas. Lawyers district lawyers so yeah, as we mentioned earlier, the Knights will be back in play coming up a week from today at City of Miramar
screen with the ball to Gonzalez over the green tip but Crawford Sullivan trouble getting the ball back to him he gets it finds Callaway in the corner who almost loses it as well. And he steps out of bounds the defense you know if you gave them 10 more minutes I would be concerned of how we're the Knights Yep. Based on the way this is going
well maybe we just play their second game. Just get it over with right now
back to back. Yeah 20 minute quarters one long games. I
don't think it's gonna work.
No, I'm sure jaw how mine Oh, seven three pointers six and a half as green over to Bradley green. gonna drive in. Love Bradley. screen takes the open three he's unable to make it and now it's Isaac Vargas the other way. And he goes right up with it. Good late defense there from Gonzalez to make him switch hands. Can I get the layup? There's green finds Gonzalez goes right up with it and gets the lion move and now they're just gonna keep pushing it back and forth blood blasdell over to Taj signs to slow it down puts up a shot and it's good from the middle of the paint from Tosh como. He is had Bradley 17
Point cars
goes up with it. No good. going back the other way they're gonna push it here.
Bradley was looking for a fall on that one. Just under a minute.
There's Isaac Fargas finds Johnson but he loses it. There's Bradley going back the other way and they're going to slow it down. Looks like they're just going to try to burn out the clock here.
At least one more
15 on the shot clock 35 on the game clock. 23 points deep three from Kennedy love no good rebounded Valley's gonna push it back the other way. Surprise no call on that first one, but they call it on the second one. I
think that's what he thought to. to portage seemed like he should have blown the whistle on the first one
for a shot
Taj at the line dad his team, no
good off the front iron. One more. And after this, the Knights are probably going to dribble out the last 20 seconds and we're going to be done here. 22 point lead here for the Knights but
IBC putting a little pressure on not
going to let it end so easily. Looks like they're still going to try to get them to lose the ball. And that's going to be a 22 point victory for the SD city knights. And and really outscored in the second half.
Really outscored in the second half score by eight by eight in the second half to 53 to 45 there in the second half if only the game was just that half but it really wasn't to the knights had jumped out to a 30 point lead at halftime and ended there with 22 point lead so that says we have seen something different tonight Joe this is the lowest amount of victory by the Knights
yes it was I mean the average was 35 points today being 22 is significantly below that average and they were You were asking about how do they stay focused? Yes it halftime was I'd say we throw it back to that this is how you stay focused you give up it mean you don't get the loss but you give up a bad half to it to clearly inferior opponent based on how the first half went based on everything, you know, every other metric. So you know Charlton's might be there might be some more. There might be a little bit intensity after this. Yeah, there
are there in in the locker room and afterwards. A few few running down a few stats the Knights tonight shooting 52% from the field 38 of 72. Eight of 24 from 330 3% 72% From the line eight for 11 the desert warriors from Imperial Valley College shot actually more free throws tonight than the knights and that's that's interesting. They even had less fouls knights had three more foul so there we go. That's how you can say that. The desert warrior shooting 46% from the field a bit better improving aid for 1940 42% in the in the game from three and as I said 14 for 20 from the free throw line 70% there with the bulk of the host threes coming from Jacob Vargas. What a half he had and then rebounding the it's hard to Uh, I guess, I guess there's just so many shots as you were saying at halftime, so many shots by San Diego city. The rebounding total way off the mark. Total rebounds. 38 for Imperial Valley 28 for City College, that defensive rebounding. They lead in both of the rebounding categories tonight. So I'll I'm would imagine Charlie's going to have a few things to say about that too. But Samuel city moving the ball well 26 assists to 13 for Imperial Valley 19 steals for City College against nine for the desert warriors. And then bench bench points. That's another thing that the you know, Sandy sandiego City's got an advantage of a lot more players. They're 21 bench points for city as opposed to three, four for the desert warriors.
But I think the takeaway once again, another time, and I'm mostly how these games go is the turnover margin. Yeah, game mark is 2020 was the margin. But we were discussing it about halfway through that for that second half, that the knights had only had five turnovers in the game. And they ended up with 13. So it was a very sloppy second half or second half of the second half second half of the second half for the for the city knights and the turnovers continued from virial. But you know, I think they just kind of powered through it as the game went along.
Well, I think that probably wraps it up from here though. We're looking at the Knights playing against Miramar at Miramar a week from tonight and then we'll be back here. Next Friday the 19th versus Palomar. So
go and watch that game next week. I don't know if Miramar has a stream for it or anything like that as it's at Miramar. That should be a big one as I believe Miramar is the defending conference champions from last season. But we will see you back here on January 19 at 5pm right here at the Harry West gym. Thank you for joining us once again SD City Times YouTube channel check out SD city times for any news about the Knights about any other sports and what's going on around campus.
