White people get in the way. And it reminds me of history.
Literally the same thing that has happened throughout history. And every time that people try to do something, there are white people to destroy and tear down. So, I was told that Lora was in that meeting, and spoke pretty strongly against me and against this project. And so I'm curious to know, what the takeaway sentiment was and what your thoughts are.
Yeah, so Miss Brown randomly, like FaceTime me or Facebook, and she invited me to this meeting.
And she's telling me that there's gonna be a deletion of her NPU and that the people are enraged about it, and that I should go there and help her in the community. And I'm like, this shit is really fucked up. Like what the fuck? So naturally, I asked, either Tony, or Leah, or Terry, or even you at times for guidance as to what's going on. So I asked Lora, and she was like, Yeah, I kind of heard the same thing, but she was like, I don't want to get in the middle of it, because it's not in my community. I was like, Well, I don't even live there. I don't have any business there. But someone from the community reached out to me and told me to come.
So I was like, I'm going and yo ass should go to and then I told Donovan, and I told everyone there. Say, I don't work here. I don't live here. I said, I have no say so. I said but what I will do with three y'all decide as a community is support John, and I know that Donovan has had like a back and forth with that community. And I don't know that I met them for the first time tonight. And I told him out loud in front of everybody else. I said, I'm very fond of you. And I'm very proud of you and I have your back. I said you're my age, and you're moving Georgia or your NPU forward. I said and that's what I'm about. And I dapped him up and I said I had to go and I love

I would just say that if you hear stuff about NP use, please check with me. Please. I don't really know what this is what else and you're not in the world. And I love your infectious energy. I'd love to see when you come around. It's just like my failure. I love it.
I have real concerns about what Lora is doing. Not just in this situation, but even with APAB. APAB has never had the problems that it has right now it has not been very functional at all. Meaning productive, yes. And sometimes massive productive. They haven't been very productive.
Never until this that APAB has issues with each other like fighting in the board within the board within the executive board, fighting against each other talking negatively against each other trying to stoke just a really adversarial relationship and now it has turned adversarial with the city. And this is all because more as a person personally does not trust government and government either and I don't know that we should I think there's a healthy distrust that should exist when it comes to government. You shouldn't trust them in blindly.
But you have to be reasonable. And unless people give you a reason not to trust what they're saying. And you just have to account for it has quite a bit of tearing down of everything that I have tried to do. I've spent three and a half years building building in the NPU system. What I inherited in 2019 was nothing every program that we have today. I created myself not for accolades. I created it because I saw a need.
And every single thing that I am attempting to build Lora is attempting to tear down and now we're talking about a black community but over time my city died now we're talking about a black community benefits and resources going to a black community. resources that have never ever been allocated before had never been compiled before. This has never been done anywhere in the city.
Go figure out how to maybe Lora can show people how to breathe or something like that. But I'm not going to fight against any anybody to try to help my people that's not gonna happen
I didn't know that there was like a back and forth I usually like asked you guys like that's where I feel comfortable asking questions for answers. So I mean, I like everyone, I just do my job, do my work, like lean on people that I need help from and then offer my support. So I didn't know all that. But what I will say is I don't understand what the hell is going on. I just heard that the community and I just texted you the pictures. I don't know if you got it from the young lady and usually, I'm really busy right now. Yeah, I sent you through pictures. I'm really busy right now. But usually every morning before the campaign, I will get off Facebook early in the morning after I did my mad at meditating, stretching, journaling. And I'll go ahead and she was birthdays and I'll just if I don't know them, I'll put HBD and if I know them I'll say Oh Happy Birthday, blah blah blah. A small little sincere message. So this young lady added me this year. I don't know who she is to this day. And since it was her birthday, I said HBB and then on Friday at 7:35pm She sends me this and I'm like what the fuck? So? Yeah, I don't know who that is. So I'm aware like, what so I'm upset. And I'm like, how the hell are they going to do this? And I'm like, where's this place? Like, what the hell I googled it and two places showed up. And I'm like, if NPR is down south of the city, why would they meet at the one? Midtown. So I'm like, my best bet is going to the one off cascade because I only make sense that clicks one two together. So I show up and I asked Pete Bama Is there a meeting here? They're like, yeah, go all the way to the back. So I go all the way to the back. That made me sign up on this form. And I'm like, Look, I don't know any of y'all. Y'all don't know me. But I will say that I heard something about deleting your MPU and I don't stand for that. So whatever y'all decide, which is ultimately what's important, because I don't live here. I don't work here. Y'all let me know and I just backyard. And then they were like, Oh, okay. They don't know me from Adam. And I don't know that. But I think it's important to support people on what they decide for their community. But I'll just stay out of it. And I'll use the campaign as an excuse. I'll just make myself not be at the next APEC meeting. Because I'm just I want to stand with the people. That's where I always stand with the people. Whoever likes it or not. I don't give a shit. I don't beef with people and if somebody wants to be for me, let's take it outside. But I don't I don't get in the middle of beef. I don't start beef. I'm not with that shit. But I do love people. And if people want to fight against something, whether it's good for them or not. I will back them up. That's what I do. And until they're like pitch Who the fuck out of our faces we don't need you. Oh back the fuck up and just let them do whatever the fuck they want to do. But I think that's what employees need to do. They need to back each other up and the people are the ones that are moving. The MP used to work for them. People can't tell them what they need to do in the neighborhoods. So whatever they want, if they need my help, I gave them my number. They asked for my email my number and I signed their form and I said if y'all need me when y'all decide because it looks like they were going back and forth. Let me know. I will be there to back you up. That's it.
