Hey, everyone, welcome back to Soulful Sessions. This is the first solo episode of the series. And I wanted to take this episode to talk about something that is really close to my heart. And I think that you guys will really enjoy the message that is in this episode. And then it's about taking a leap when you're on this journey, particularly when you are going within and you're doing the work, all of these different phrases that we use to describe the journey that is personal growth journey, that is getting to know yourself, we have to really, really lean into trust, and really lean into the leaps that we are being asked to take. And often those leaps feel really scary, right? If I look at all the ones I've made in this past year alone, I think I could actually lose my mind. Thinking about how much I've had to really shift and how many leaps I've had to take in my life. And I want to assure you guys that when you do this, and when you take these leaps, it's not that they don't feel scary, because they really do they really bring out this sense of us, that makes us feel uncomfortable. Because we are moving outside of our comfort zone, we are looking into the eyes of a future that we don't yet no, I like to see the unknown as this place that is so full of potential. So if you're looking forward into your future, and you're planning everything, and you're saying that you want things to go this way or to go that way, it's really restricting and limiting you to all the opportunities that you don't know yet available to you. And when we create in this way, when we create our realities in this way, we don't allow that which is greater than us, God, and source, the Universe, to really work through us. And really lean into a trust that is greater than what we can see in front of us and the realities that we've come to know. In this time in our life. It's so important that taking leaps in your life, are guided by that voice that is within you, a lot of you will associate that with your intuition, or that source guidance, that inner being. And as you take those leaps, know that you are supported. Because you are leaning into a trust that is greater than you are able to imagine. Then your mind your limited mind is able to comprehend that you know that that trust you know without a doubt that that path is what you want for your life. And sometimes that path evolve sometimes that path changes as we open ourselves up to even more opportunities that we could not see before. But the point is, is that voice that is within you, that is asking you to take those little leaps that society might see as risky, or a bit too much of a challenge. Whatever you do, if you know that you're being guided to make leaps into your dreams to make leaps into where you want to go with your life where you truly want to go. then know that those leaps are getting you closer to your dreams and know that you are supported when you take them even if your external reality does not say that yet. And this is why trust is so important. And first we have to build that trust with ourselves because by building that trust without ourselves because we are an expression of God, we are expression of the Universe. When we trust ourselves, we trust in that as well. And we trust in that guidance that is taking us to a new place to a new potential to new possibilities to new opportunities. And at times, when you're going through your life, if you're staying in your comfort zone, and you're staying in what feels familiar, you're not allowing yourself to see the potentials for yourself. And you're restricting yourself to a place that helps you stay the same. And, in my opinion, the point of where we are here, the point of this life that we have on this earth is to be experienced in its totality, to be experienced, in a way that is, allows us to express joy to have fun to create, to see challenges as the lessons and the blessings that guide us on this journey. And if we are not allowing ourselves to open our mind, if we're not allowing ourselves to take leaps, even when they feel scary, even when they go against everything that we deem as the right thing to do, or we deem as what society would deem as acceptable, right? If we are not taking those leaps, because we are listening to the conditioning that we have been exposed to in our life, then we're not allowing ourselves to express and to experience that totality of what life here on earth really is. And like I said, you will feel that fear when you take those leaps is so normal to feel that way. And I speak about this a lot, I really feel like fear and everything has got such a bad rap, when really what it is teaching us is that we are going beyond the limitations that we our society has set on us that we are going beyond just what the mind deems is our life or what our circumstances are, we're going into a place that is actually beyond what we can imagine. And fear is just that reminder that you're going beyond that survival, that that survival instinct to stay in the comfort zone, that you're open to new possibilities that you're open to new opportunities for yourself. So fear is a guidance system, fear is not something to be in the way or to stop you from doing what you want to do with your life to stop you from creating what you want in your life. So I want to assure you here that as you go through this journey, and as you see yourself being asked to take these leaps that it's okay to feel that fear when you do so that when you take those leaps and that fear comes up, don't get lost in it or stuck in it, just see it. It's a reminder, it's a reminder of that you are going the right way that you are trusting in something that is beyond what you can right now imagine. But it's taking you beyond yourself. And I think that's one of the most incredible things we can do for ourselves. Because we're learning to trust ourselves. We're learning to trust that ourselves and not deemed by these limits that have been put on us that we are so much more expansive, that we have so much more power than what we have been led to believe. But that we still get to enjoy this, this humans experience in its fullness, right? We still get to love our life here on Earth, whilst also being able to harness this limitless power that is really within us. And I think people get lost in these ideas because they think oh, that's just for the spiritual community. And I want to talk a little bit in this podcast as well about that label is just, it's also got a lot of conditioning in itself that we also need to decondition ourselves from in thinking that spirituality is this almost trend or is this label that we get to wear when we've only done a certain amount of things and when we have enough crystals when we speak in a certain way when we meditate for an hour in the morning and that is really not the true essence of what spirituality is. And I don't like to use the word so much anymore because it's been so built up with so many different constructs that people are confused by it and People are put off by it. But what it all truly is, is we are just living this life here, as this spiritual being. And we also are living a human life, we're in balance with these two parts of ourselves. And we get to experience this life as we want to, we get to experience this life as the mirror to ourselves. So within so without, and this is all part of the journey of really beginning to learn and understand yourself to learn and understand what these concepts really mean. But it's not the point of it, the point of it is just to lean into that power that is within you trust that person that wants to take those leaps that wants to go after their dreams. And simply by doing that, you are the embodiment of what it means to be a spiritual being living a human life, because you are going after things without the limitations, but you are still enjoying everything that this life has to offer for you. And that is your right to do that. So I want you to think about those leaps that you're on the edge of right now. And I want you too, I want to encourage you, to take them, to take them with the fear to take them knowing that they are the pathway to your dreams, to the embodiment to the the ability to live them out on this earth, beyond what you can imagine. And it's okay for you to feel the fear. It's okay for you to feel nervous, scared, fear of judgment, fear of failure, it's okay for you to feel all these things. And on the path, you experience those things, but they are all there for a reason everything is happening, to help us grow to help us learn something. But that's why trusting and knowing ourselves first is so important. Because we won't get led off on lots of different detours along the way. And trust me. I've been on lots of data, there's lots of distractions. Because I wasn't trusting myself. First, I was looking to the outside world to make me feel a certain way and make me show up in a certain way. So I encourage you that when you're taking those leaps in your life, to lean into you to lean into trusting you when you take those leaps knowing that you are your best guidance system, because you are an expression of that which is greater. And I think that is such a blessing to know in your life and to have in your life. Hope you enjoyed the message for today.
