So basically, where I'm doing a little write up about, you know, the construction going on at the classic center. Yes, it's like that and like I'm kind of going like from the angle of like all the new people that will come to Athens and since you live in work downtown, I thought it'd be perfect because this has gotten very annoying actually with parking my car, which so do you park at the classic center? Right now?
I like it my like pregnant for my apartment is a classic.
Do you have to pay from month do you have to pay for that? Or is it free? It's $100 a month. Oh my god.

Um, how has it been? Parking there like during the construction,
they keep having like, there's like only two entrances there that we can go into into the parking deck. And the construction like blocks off one of the roads half the time so you have to go like all the way around and to get into the parking deck or to get to the other side of downtown. So it's very annoying.
Are there are there's still like a good amount of spots for you? Or there's like a good amount of spots to park in.
Yeah, it definitely like busier, technically, like they have the first few levels reserved, but they actually were having a lot of the construction people get parking in there. And so they had like kind of signs everything saying like construction workers stop parking here.
That is so annoying.
So has fun, and they stopped safely. They listened to the fact.
How do you think it'll be what's the arena's open like parking like downtown for work or like parking in your deck?
I think it's already like pretty terrible down there. And I think it might just make it worse, because like, even now, technically, I have like a reserved parking spot sometimes. And like people work in the plastic center too. So there's gonna make it like maybe like they'll another marketplace. Yeah.
What do you think about the traffic? How do you think that's gonna go?
Um, I think the traffic I like my voice like, are you backed up because of the classic center? So I think it's probably gonna get even worse or like whenever they host events, they're now like, that whole downtown is blocked off. It's just gonna happen more often. be late for work.
And apparently, like they're planning on having like 90,000 new hotel rooms booked like every year, which is insane. Yeah, which is crazy. Oh my god. It's like they're making like an arena. So it'll be like hockey and then also like, doing like Disney on Ice there. And then they're also doing like concerts. Um, oh, do you have do you have to move your car during game days?
I don't because I paid to leave it there on game days. But if you don't pay for it, and yes, it has to be out the Friday before my 8pm and then you can put it back like Saturday
afternoon. That isn't saying
but they also don't like offer you anywhere to move it to a part of the parking lot. There's kind of extra money you can figure it out.
Actually really sucks. pretty frustrating. What do you think it'll be like, with all the traffic for the games and then also like, potential concerts and stuff.

also there's not a crosswalk from my apartment over to the classics in there. So I have to like jaywalk every time I leave my car, when there's already traffic. Now it's really frustrating to cross the road and it's just
yeah. I also have to jaywalk. If I want to go to the Greenway then I have to jaywalk. And it's kind of scary.
I know. I'm like timing it in my car. Dude.

I haven't heard it from like my apartment like inside but like outside and like when I'm in like the parking deck and then my car but not like actually it's okay. I'm inside my perfect. That's the whole construction zone. Oh,
