What does it really mean to be brilliant? Let's find out together. Hi, I'm Prasha Dutra, and I'm obsessed with helping you believe in your brilliance by taking small daily actions, through mindset shifts, aligned actions and strategies. And through building epic habits. Together, we will uncover the brilliance that's within you, and help you accomplish massive results in all areas of your life. So are you ready to believe in your brilliance? Oh my god, Prasha. I am freaking out. I don't think I'm talented enough for this job. Said one of my clients as she was preparing for her job interview. My response was, What are you talking about? When I look at you, I see a talented Software Engineer with two degrees living in California, and who's ready to start her next big challenge. See, she had moved across the continents lived alone and build a fantastic career. But still, it was hard for her to believe in her brilliance. Mostly because she couldn't understand what brilliance really means. For her, it was not something she had to begin with. She was drowning in constant self doubt. We've all experienced this. I'm sure at some point in your career in your life, you have doubted yourself, and have found it hard to believe in your brilliance. For a lot of us brilliance is reserved for the ultra talented, very popular and economically successful people. It's crazy how little we recognize it within ourselves. So in today's episode, I want to share with you what it means to be brilliant, my definition of it. And just like I showed it to my client who eventually got that job, more than doubled her salary, and started believing in her brilliance in less than 12 weeks. brilliance to me is way more than just talent or accolades. To prove the set talent, it is really the bright light that shines in all of us. It is the secret sauce to accomplishing anything in life. brilliance is confidence, clarity, ability to overcome limitations, and the ability to become a better version of ourselves every single day. brilliance is authentic, pure and deep seated in all of us. It allows us to touch other people's lives in the most incredible ways. And it allows us to live a fulfilling life. It's simple, but yet complicated. But most of all, it's an experience more than a fact. That is how I define it. But maybe you define it a little differently. So this week, I invite you to simply simply define what brilliance or being brilliant means to you. Maybe it means to have earthshattering self confidence in your abilities. Or maybe it means to uncover more of your authentic self. Maybe it means to be more creative. Or maybe it means to enjoy life a little bit more. identify what's missing, what's needed, and where is the brilliant you're really hiding. Whatever you can do try to define this. So whenever I say the word brilliance, you know exactly what it means to you. A simple exercise to get started with this is ask at least five of your friends and family members to send you about 10 reasons why they love you. If you can't think of 10 reasons, or if you feel like 10 reasons is a lot ask them for five, ask five friends of yours. To tell you five amazing reasons why they love you. You will be surprised to see what others see in you that you never stop and see in yourself. explore this question, what does brilliance mean to me? And let the answers come to you. And if you're not sure, don't worry, come back next week. We're gonna keep exploring this topic in detail with simple exercises and Game Changing advice. So I will see you next week giving you a big Virtual hug. Thanks for listening to this episode of believing your brilliance podcast.
