As a serious candidate for president during the primaries, and as Joe Biden, Joe Biden's running, we got to hear a story of growing up in West Virginia and the daughter of immigrants from Jamaica and India, where she and her sister were bused as part of a local desegregation. This year's Black History Month theme is the black family, representation, identity and diversity. Certainly our new vice president's family reflects the diversity of the black experience in America, and the diversity in our country. She became the district attorney for San Francisco and then was elected Attorney General of California and their United States Senator. And now of course, she is the first black and woman vice president in the history of our country. Ladies and gentlemen, I know you're all very, very proud of komla. House, please join me in welcoming the Vice President of the United States of America.
