Oh, I think she's she's pretty pumped, but really she held it in there. I think she's pretty happy to be back.
Did she have an injury?
Yeah, she did a lig [ligament] -- after she was fourth at Maryland, she did a lig after that. So yeah, this is her first FEI back since. Pretty happy to be out!
How was her rehab process?
Good. She's a great healer, and I'm a big believer in giving them the appropriate amount of time off. I'm very lucky she's an amazing healer. We did the Artemis laser with her, and I guess some of them are just amazing healers, but she she luckily is one of them because she's very tough and stoic.
For her, this is a partnership you've had for a while.
I'm gonna call Brian right now and give him some shit.
I heard him say that.
I was like, are you joking?
But what's it been like, you obviously know her so well, going through that and then bringing her back. What was that like for you?
I know her so well. She's quite a strong horse for me, and she gets excited and it's hard for her to kind of hold her together. I just wanted her to have a nice, quiet, decent test.
She held it together pretty well for her first big one back.
Yeah, I take everything really slow. Really lucky the Gardners (?) have a great barn manager, so I let them go and they get to be at their farm when they're off, so they get to really relax.
That's really nice. That's awesome. It was great to see you're back.
