All right now I'm recording it. Cool. Well, if you can hear it, pardon the fan, but it is brutally hot in here to my byo look oddly red either that or like the background here anyway, that aside, let me get started here I see that there are some folks on the call participants. Okay, so state of the business for October, August of 2024. news and announcements to start with. I love this slide and from last month because this continues to be true. We have some, there's a lot going on, we've had a couple of, you know, decently substantial reorders, and we're in talks for a potentially like massive order. And that kind of seems to be representative of the market, the market seems to be good. And it also feels like this might be the time of year when people are gearing up to make their you know, typical fourth quarter run barre budgets, whatever people are going to do. So things seem to be good. Also, calling back to last month, we announced that we were doing hiring for an SDR role, we have tentatively got something here. So we're not looking to do that anymore. I don't have anything firm yet to announce on that front. But we're not actually looking for it anymore. I appreciate the suggestions to everybody who reached out. And I'll tell you that nobody reached out in more than just an unbelievable amount of people. I wasn't even the one that posted the ad. But like my inbox has just been overwhelmed apparently 70% of all commerce is just sales development representative staff augmentation, and who knew but I don't think my inbox will ever be the same. So if you're ever looking to do something like this, even if you're not the one actually posting the ad, just prepare to be utterly overwhelmed. So anyway, enough complaining on the personnel front. This is two years where Melissa she is responsible for our martec practice, which is technical SEO, implementation, you know, tooling, analytics, setup, things of that nature. And that's two years of salaried employment. Before that she was doing a fair bit of contracting and helping set up their air table system Eldorado and has been contributing and like doing blog articles and such for something like six years now. So thank you to her for her contributions. And let's see, also leaving in here the standing offer for anybody who wants to be on the team page as an author, editor, staff member, just let us know, you can reach out to Gabby, who I believe is on the call here. And she can get that queued up. And then I'm still I think the one putting those up on the site. But yeah, so feel free to reach out and err on the side of participating, we're happy to have you. So opportunities and what's in it for you. I'm going to begin this the way I always do. If you facilitate a warm introduction to a prospect that we don't already have a relationship with, we can give you a 10% rev share for the first year of revenue with that client. So if a client comes in and orders, you know, $50,000 worth of stuff in that year, then you would get 10% of that, or 5k. So this can be a fairly substantial pay day. There's another thing, which is if you have an employer or something that you refer to us, and there's a conflict of interest, you don't want to like collect money, for whatever reason, we can also give them a discount because you referred them. So whichever one of those you prefer to do, we're up for. With that in mind, I'm going to talk about something that's germane right now. So we actually do have sales conversations going with somebody who made a referral. So this would be applicable to this referral program. And it's one of these that I'm trying to do every month where I you know, plant the seeds of what might be a scenario in which to refer someone to us. Unlike the technical SEO stuff I've been doing lately, this has to do with content fulfillment. And it's a situation where somebody is essentially saying I need a whole lot of content in a relatively short time calendar window. That is actually something that we are uniquely good at. And the reason I say this is if you imagine a scenario where somebody says, you know, I want like 200 blog posts in the next quarter, or whatever the case may be, the way that a company would typically go about doing that, if they were going to use freelancers or internal folks would be to absolutely overwhelm all of their internal folks and then put something out and you can imagine how this would go on Upwork so they have a very short calendar window to like recruit and screened and negotiate with a whole bunch of different people, it just wouldn't work very well trying to do it themselves. So what do you do, then you would turn to an agency. But that wouldn't be great either. Because the way most agencies staff accounts is to dedicate either fractional or full time people onto those accounts. So the agency would need to be carrying an enormous bench in order to be able to do that. And that's generally not good for an agency. So it subscribes looser bench model of having a bunch of folks in the pool, in kind of hop on and off fashion contributing work is a much better fit for somebody who's trying to do this. So, to the point at hand, if you ever hear somebody talking, you know, like a content manager type or somebody in the digital marketing orchard talking about needing a high volume of content soon, that tends to be a uniquely challenging problem to solve. And it's one that we're well equipped to solve, with the help of all of you folks out there watching and the relationship that we have. So if you hear that it's certainly something you could suggest revisiting the showcase files concept. So Tracy is helping out on this front and coordinating with you on publication and syndication, and so on and so forth. And once again, this is a campaign that we're queuing up to help with our own sales and marketing. And the idea is, if we approve articles that you create, that are tutorials about how to use some developer tool type of brand, if we approve those, we will pay you for them at your normal author rate and put them up on the site. And if that activity leads to business with the developer tool, and question, we will also pay you a rev share. So I just want to say something here, I am entirely at fault. You know, given this kind of ties in with the attempt to hire for SDR here as well, we definitely need help on the sales front. So right now, some of you have expressed interest in ideas, and we hear those I have to go through and do a lead scoring exercise. Now once we get on boarded with an SDR, this is going to get faster. But this has just been sitting in my backlog and I've had some PTO recently. So if you have reached out to Tracy about this, and you want to know where it stands, the reason nothing has happened is me. So I'm gonna try to take a look at that over the next week and get this moving again on this front. So please, oh, and if you don't know what I'm talking about, and you're not one of those folks that has reached out, you know, feel free to inquire. Tracy might be the best person to reach out to directly about this, just because my slack is a wasteland of unread messages and confusion. So I might miss your message. I would say reach out to Tracy if you are interested in doing this in writing a tutorial about some brand, putting it on hit subscribes blog and maybe getting a rev share if they do business with us. So I believe that's it. Yes, it is. I don't have any more slides. Does anybody have any questions? I have not seen anything come through and chat. I also don't see anybody unmuting so going once twice. Okay, well I appreciate everybody tuning in or watching later as the case may be and I will do this again next month.
