So back in senior year in my undergrad, students tend to be doing a thesis short film. Many of the students had to graduate early, just to have the money to make their production come to life. So you basically devote the same amount of money you'll pay towards tuition and spend it into your own productions. So not everybody could really afford to go through the entire four years and also take money out of your pocket and make them adults at the same time.
