or sorry, madam chair, we have four minutes left the minutes from the previous meeting
you taken
the time to prepare and as of the early voting class. We'll see. I'm sure you have the opportunity to look at. We will open our early vote centers are anywhere between 12 and 14 days depending on the election. prior to election day. You know, the state requires nine days prior to we will have a total of 14 early vote boats that are this year. And are there any any discussion or questions regarding rowing boat plan
to matter of course all I will say is that this looks like a really comprehensive approach. I know that the early voting sites that you had ETL here in the first place this is really going to facilitate for us a tremendous opportunity for high turnout. The only thing I will also say though, and despite the fact that it's just that the public body seems to be in dramatic disarray. I'm fully expecting lawsuits, three or four to becoming some early some actually, Madam Clerk, based on the fact that you passed an early investment commissioners adopted early voting resolution. So the same thing that you all have always done back then everybody here in this room have just done a great job documenting everything that you've done. We just really need to get ready. We are going to be in litigation so we've really just made sure that we are doing for the court everything that we can in terms of providing documentation good record keeping times and this then the other because it's going to be a ferocious after they may look like they've lost their mind. But the powers that be will in fact reassemble. There's just no question about that. So what Madam Clerk, I'm excited by this. I think that it's doing your usual excellent preparation for the
full support. But the President does you know on that note, already, one day made yesterday and fortunately as part of the course of the presidential election will be on stand up and fight
for security. No, I really think that that's it. I really, really aggressive stance. I agree. I really think that for the sake of it we've got and the Council President is aware of this, but you know, the we got people monitoring around the cane that they're not armed because they got to come through but but when we see somebody on the fifth floor we just call and someone is because it should be snowing water. But for you man aquatic I just I just really think that. You know, as we approach this election is only going to get more complicated. I do
always have it a couple of weeks prior to the election, but I might consider some Yeah. I just think that our officers should be
you know what I mean? And I talked to President as security knows what these people are walking up to.
Yeah, and there were certain things that the country needed in order to preclude those incidents from occurring. Yeah. And 20 you have issues. So those individuals who are behind that effort can do the exact same thing, try to accelerate theater to make the tremor I don't think straight, right. So you make mistakes that will be litigated and become problems. So I think that it's paramount that we take that into consideration as we move forward, particularly at the top of totem pole. I absolutely have already seen what the courts have ruled in favor. Republican challengers saying that they don't have cell phones and computers they can have whatever they want down in central California, which is effort to impede and slow up that process not so much as to change the results but to slow it up the cost question in the outcome and the returns. So fortunately, Chris this morning that they adopted laws litigation, well, election laws to be adopted, to make sure that we have teeth in place to ensure that challengers don't do what they're trying to do, leading up to election day. So that same effort should be transferred to this operation. And while it may not happen, what's the same as better the habit and not needed and needed? You've already you've already had
it Yeah. So I was coming home later than I should have that night. But we were at the Boston Edison thing, and I tried to home about how to drive everything I tried to put that didn't quite make it and on that corner of the same corner where the man came up to me the Prosser with the car sitting there, the same car I'm not planning on sitting there, somebody who knows their lifetime. They're not in front of my house, but they can see my house right. That's where he parked so I've decided probably to my name because my lyrical II have been sitting there for a couple hours. So heavily what we don't have and then and they said to marketers out there live with that person. 30 minutes in the copies that have been laid out. We got this we'll be back with you. Well, I don't know if they stayed up with me up about what it was about 30 minutes and then they left they all left. I don't know. I don't know. I think it's just me maybe feeling vulnerable. But but maybe not yet. I might do something. No, I
think I think I think what's your feeling madacorp is real. Yeah. And you know, firstly provide security council president Featherstone long, long long time. Good friend of mine is his his uncle was versus you know, it's it's definitely it's lightweight
is low key will be in your way.
To work back to know that you've got to think well,
good luck last week kind of shook me up a little bit. So anyway, I probably will
do anything we can do to help or is that something you could initiate on your own? Because
curve always had one.
But I just wasn't interested. I just use amazing privacy and my husband often always be with me if I'm on my phone. But
and I just have to say a lot of public comment, and I know you are here and here and we hear it more often. Some of it is being directed about election fraud and nonsense. It's actually not true. And that feeds into some of the news
says we have probably the openness in terms of the franchise now is great that is ever early voting or permanent absentee ballots. All of this stuff that has been legislative is offensive to a lot of people. So if the agenda is not the presidential election, then one of the initiatives will be to turn back the hands of time to get all this stuff out and make the process and openness that we're experiencing now.
