Congratulations, a great test. How'd you feel about it?

Thank you, I was really happy with him for where we are in the season. A few mistakes, more on my part than him, but he tried really hard. It's getting there, it's a work in progress.

And now, what's your plans as far as staying here and kind of just your life plans in general?

They're still also work in progress, but I'm loving it in the States, so I can't see myself booking a flight back anytime soon. I think I'm gonna stay and set up shop and aim him for Kentucky.

Nice. Okay, and where have you been based this winter?

I've been with Valerie Pride at Blue Clover (?), which is the most beautiful place ever. So I've been loving Ocala, and so has Nelson -- it's much warmer down there. He being an Australian horse, and me having spent most of my time in Australia, appreciate the warmer weather, so it's been really fun.

Right, so what's that been like working with Valerie? Tell me a bit a little bit about your training and kind of what it looks like for you.

It's very different, obviously, from what I was doing -- I was working in banking before I came over -- so I've been thrown into the deep end with a full barn of horses and loving it. I am very happy I quit my desk job. It's great, it's so much fun working with great clients and horses every day.

And how many do you have?

Between us, I think we have about 15. I've still just got my two, but again, that's a work in progress.

So you'll at least be here through the start of the summer and then we'll kind of see from there?

Yeah, I think it's looking very likely like I'm gonna stay.
