If you guys could just state your first and last name and your grade and spell your name
my name is beloved TATUNC u e r i L O V i
and your roles in the club and so you have one more CO President.
Yes, Susanna Martin. Okay. So if you just want to describe your club a little bit that's about Yeah, so here a club was ordered last year by I don't know the exact people but like Fiona park and a few others with the intention to reduce the stigma of periods and then kind of create more like outreach to the greater community while also advocating for security products in East Oh. So
how are you guys going about your goal? Or what is your goal? Maybe?
I think we just want to make people aware that this problem is going on and so how we've been doing that is that we've been like Yeah. Donating to the shelters to donate period products in the most use profit to like buy products for other people who need it. stigmatizes that way they think we want to do if we can is trying to like free period products around the school, that
kind of work to make it by the district administrators trying to get funds because there are like specific funds, like allocated for different clubs. It's just like getting like, I don't know, like the period club. So we haven't done a whole bunch of like outreach with that this year. Because there have been like, products available in like the nurse's office. Like obviously we understand that that's not enough. So I think the next step is to somehow reach out to like, an external collaborator like I think I was like with you about like, getting actual like, dispensers and bathroom. And then like, would obviously not charge but that would like require either raising funds or like getting funds from the district. And then also this year, like I was saying we've had like a bake sale. We've, you've just donated to the homeless shelters in Carrboro. And then we also held like a screening of this documentary called period and it was basically about stigma of periods in India. And like this rural rural town where they don't really have access to any period products. So it's basically basically about like D stigmatizing it and then like making products and brother elbow, so that after the screening we like to talk about it as a group. And yeah, we're definitely advocating to get like, not just like women and like men traitors in our club, but also like, Guys,
that Yeah, so my next question Do you want to reach So how often do you go
to different advisor every other Wednesday, but now that he's not our advisor for a little bit, we have to get a new one. We meet every Wednesday night. So where do we meet in this room?
Okay, it's like right. Yeah. Um Oh, yeah. You guys know how many people are in
the Google Classroom. It's like, a way to do it sometimes.
Do you have any other leadership roles besides presidents?
I think we were talking about this, but I think we wanted to share year but VPs and secretaries for someone to manage that whole like, funding thing. Because I know that Miss Graves became tracker
the user like someone will populate your classroom session will deal with the fun to actually get the products Yeah.
So how do you go join the Club? Do they like email? You are their QR codes?
We have an Instagram account. recently signed up for the club.
It's also been through like, if your friend is in a club, they will tell you about it.
Um, and what's like the most exciting thing or the most important that you want people to know about your club.
Making programs.
It's our attorney project. To raise more money. And we will send to a person you want to ask. And then let's get into
what are your hopes for the future of the club?
Hopefully we can you reach out to more people and make it like normally
I think it would be a little long. Which hasn't really been that this year, but like we're gonna talk this next. Like awesome. I think we're really good with that and like
