begin by thanking all CEOs, American companies being here today, and you're America's top business leaders being here to support Bill blackletter initiative is important. The economic plan we began with in this administration has shown some real results got the strongest job growth on record, largest decline and unemployment on record, strong small business growth and a long time, the strongest economic growth in 40 years. But we face some real challenges, got to get good prices in check people out there and that's why the last component of my plan is so important. Why?
Let me start by saying let's take childcare families across America as quickly as much as $40,000 per child. My plan cuts across budget, parents, especially women
back to work
that take universal truth day, if we're designing our education system today to talk to somebody about this before I doubt it so we do here is the 100 best educated workforce. And that's why universal pre k is going to mean so much and it also you know it's also increases exponentially
at child can turn to school and pass on to our four year college. Students show that these studies are worth it and take clean energy manufacturing, where we're bringing American manufacturing back, I should say y'all.
And we're helping along the way. industrial Midwest, believe it or not coming back. We got here 20 to 30 years old and progress was still going strong. But it's coming back. With some more sophisticated manufacturing in the world. A real breakthrough began last year when very memory began and Jim and Jim for a Ford GM and Ford and some of the key labor leaders announced that moving on electric future vehicles. Just yesterday, Mary and GM announced a $7 billion investment to build electric vehicles in Michigan to create 4000 new jobs. Last year, I was up at Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan to see all electric 150 part of Ford's $11 billion investment electric vehicles to be created. 11,000 new jobs are $100 billion committed over the last year American auto manufacturing the bill electric vehicles and batteries and build them in the United States of America. We all know how important it is to manufacturing data, let's say component here in America, in America, last week, went out that Intel announced a $20 billion plan to build semiconductor manufacturing facility in Ohio, one of the largest of its kind in our nation's history. It's going to create 10,000 jobs. And I might add, you know one of the reasons for inflation being higher than it is 1/3 reason facing the cost of vehicles. Reason across the data. They don't have the component parts we typically assuming. Last year, other top manufacturers committed $80 billion in new semiconductor facilities across the nation beyond what Intel is going to create 1000s of jobs was a good paying job. And my my new infrastructure was going to build out more than 50,000 charging stations for electric vehicles across To continue creating better paying jobs 1000s of workers in the IB dominated business. And that's just the start our build back better plan I say are more combined. Within the infrastructure law, you're making the biggest investment in manufacturing ever in American history. This is about here and now in the future. You know, our build back better plans pay for doesn't increase the deficit. And maybe the best news of all it will actually help alleviate inflation. The fact that 17 Nobel laureates are serving say that the bill back better ease inflation pressures in the future is somewhat reassuring. The bottom line is a lot of folks refer to this as just social spending. Well, I see it, but I see this, though back better plan lowers prices for family, work workforce around the world, and ensures it remains the most dynamic and conducted economy in the world. It's good for families, struggling economy is typical. And so I'm grateful for the support and the CEOs that are here to know that US What is the same age and broad spectrum economy across the country from Senior Executive Engineer and director and now the first thing in the comment on the Supreme Court Justice Thank you. Thank you. Thank you every justice has the right and opportunity to decide what. Thank you
really an honor to be here. Thank you for somebody. And I just want to say I just want to say that I think they do not want to be sitting rather than your grandkids and not say that I made every effort to be at a company because they're an innovator for a long time. I think we can make a big investment and a big effort to address climate change and some of the topics that they touched on in India. Construction of batteries, fuel cells and other do. We don't we can't do a long course but the topic is we need investment tax credits in the field that better for hydrogen trucks will play a big role in the long run infrastructure
