I can't believe somebody like Legal Zoom was sending me a letter saying that I owe them money. But let's just find out what they have to say. We are recording this this for national broadcast. This is an amount owed to collections regarding a Registered Agent service, purchased and also had an annual renewal. Okay, interesting is the 399 is for the annual renewal.

Okay. We're services provided by your client when they didn't get paid for that end your renewal? Did In other words, did your client get did your client perform services, which happens to be Legal Zoom, Legal Zoom. This is the this is the one that is on TV that talks about helping you set up your corporation and they work with you to try to do what they can to keep you out of legal trouble, right. And all of a sudden, I get a letter, reference number 18729454. That says LegalZoom has turned me over for collections

because you you purchased a Registered Agent with an annual renewal that you didn't pay for.

Okay, so let me ask you a question. Did I receive the registration package during this period of time? That's a very, very direct question. It's either yes or no, sir. Did I receive the services?

All right. So what months, were we talking about 2018 years. So I guess during 2018, they just go ahead and perform Registered Agent services for every single client.

to be an auto renewal, because part of the package that you purchased was if you wish to stop that service, you have to do certain things under the terms and conditions what

Okay, what service What? Okay, what and because I am curious what so what are the what's the process that I needed to follow? I claim,

you would have to you have to look at your documentation. If you don't want to purchase

Jesus. This is what oh my god, this is passive. If you don't call us we're gonna charge your account. Clay. The agree because of certain agreements that were made, as you said,

well, we can agree to disagree, because there's probably about 200,000 people, they're gonna be listening to this. And they're gonna wonder very, very, very, very clearly. Why LegalZoom with all of their money at all of the people they deal with why they would go and force somebody into a contract and then coerce them into payment by a small small ass collection company called Canaan whiners been sued

for something else

Oh, no, no, no, no, this is not grandstanding. This is this is preparing for federal this is this is preparing for federal courts are no No, no, we don't grandstand at all ever, ever. Okay, so let's establish let's establish two things. let's establish two things number one. I do not owe your client Kanan whiner number two you said you don't own this debt you're collecting as a third party. Number three. I dispute the validity of debt number four. I did not request the services. Number five. I'm calling you because you sent me a letter and I'm scared. I'm scared. What's gonna happen if clay doesn't get his money?

You see, I'm terrified right now clay because I pay my bills. Clay I'm terrified. And you said you're there to enforce the payment of the debt clay and you'll tell me what that means clay. What does it mean?

I strongly suggest that you figure out what you're doing sending out demand letters in the middle of a pandemic? What are you doing sending out demand letters in the middle of a pandemic? Why is it the your client, your collection company couldn't even tell us why the debt was valid. He couldn't even tell us a time other than a year.

So the question is, what do we do now? What do we do? Well, I'll tell you what we're gonna do. As always, we're gonna go ahead and post this on our international website. And we're gonna contact the corporate counsel for Legal Zoom, because you see exactly what's going on. And I'll tell you what, to anybody else who is a victim of Legal Zoom, I want you to do me a favor, guys. I want you to send an email to class action at my collector.org o RG. And I want you to outline exactly what happened to you. When you were harassed and discouraged and put down and told that they were retained to collect the debt they didn't even put on, they can't even put on your credit report. In the middle of a pandemic. You see, friends, this is what we do. And we take people like Mr. Clay small if that is his real name at 818-251-1780.
