All right. Okay. Awesome. So let's go who is who dropped their link next? I feel like I've only seen can Nika and Jennifer. I don't have mine yet, so
I don't have anything to drop. Yeah, I think I was. Go ahead. OB OB raised her hand. Okay, I have two things on here. Um, okay.
Can you drop your link? Yes. Yeah. Okay, perfect. I'll drop mine too. I didn't realize that was the process. It's my first time.
Oh, no, it's okay. Don't worry about it. I'm gonna get to at least like two more. And then I'm gonna go out and do live videos, tonight and tomorrow. So always drop your link inside the Facebook group after we're done as well. And I'll get to them. We'll talk about it and then also send me a DM sometimes I just need somebody to bully me and tell me like, hey, like I wrote in the URL in the Facebook group. And I dropped my I dropped my link there. So don't worry, I'm not going to get sad if you guys bully me either. So who's up? Can somebody is somebody okay? They dropped a link. Okay, let's see here. OB i He n i k e n? I K E. M? e? Yep. Okay. Perfect. Um, I actually need to be talking to OB. Oh, okay, awesome. I'm going to share my video. And then I'll be if you want to come on camera, you can if you don't want to, you don't have to. I just want to make sure that I'm talking to you and not getting mixed up with anybody else.
Yep, that's me. Perfect. Let's
get to it. I'm going to share, tell me who you are, what you do and what your business is. And also go ahead and include your demographic in there.
So I am a trademark attorney. I help entrepreneurs build, protect and create, build, protect and monetize their brand, with trademarks, copyrights, intellectual property contracts and things like that. So my demographic is the business owner who is established and looking to grow their brand, or they are either ready to expand in stores license, their products, franchise, that type of thing. But really haven't thought about the legal aspect of their business. And now they're just trying to make sure that they have a solid legal foundation.
Perfect. I have so many ideas for you. And I love what you're doing. So this is actually your like in the perfect realm of this. Now what I'm seeing though, I love this is your profile that we're seeing right now, correct?
Yes, I haven't been active on this. Yeah, I think I've posted one video this year, I'm coming off for like a long maternity leave. So I'm trying to vamp and
congratulations. Thank you. Excited for you. Okay, perfect, awesome. So let's get down into what I'm going to say first and try not to lose my many ideas that I have for you. I mean, you're in the perfect realm to be doing what you're doing. First profile picture, what I want you to do take this picture is beautiful, it's amazing. I feel like it's very vibrant and it pulls my attention. Put it closer. Okay, I want to see probably even you can feel free to cut your arms off and just get a little bit closer. In essence again, these are not things that are going to make you go viral, but they are going to help people identify with who you are what you do and get recognition on that sense so they feel more likely to feel comfortable with what you're talking about something next that I would do let's go you know and hit straight to the the bio is immigration lawyer working with clients all over the US.
Oh, I use the wrong one. That is okay, sorry. I have several Nope, that is not a number.
Is this is not the right. This is
me, but it's pulling the wrong profile I have because I am a trademark attorney too. But I don't know how it's not.
Is it your market guide your trademark guide?
I became a law. I'm Yeah, okay.
Okay, perfect. Perfect. Okay, this picture, load up same thing a little bit closer to your face. That's all that's what I want to see with your profile pictures a very good profile picture. I would suggest continuing with it your bright smile. That's what I want to see and getting just a little bit closer. I wouldn't change anything about that besides just pulling in the video or the picture a little bit closer. Okay, trade trademark attorney. I'm gonna be completely honest. If I wasn't in the field that I was in but I was in another business. I would have no idea what that is. Mark attorney, what do you solve? What problems do you solve? Follow my IG not legal advice. I know you have to put not legal advice in there. Totally fine. Feel free to keep that in try to keep it with a keep it at the end towards the connect with me. State, but before that, explain who you are and what you help direct to your demographic as who I need to see and what I need to see in your bio. Because as soon as somebody hears good advice, they're looking over and they're like, what's a trademark attorney? Why would I need them? Why would my business need them because there's a lot of people who will need you and have no idea that they need, you know, fulfill in that sense, you know, put it in that, you know, put in a short but short and sweet message to them trademark attorney have that their trademark attorney put like a little dash in there and then say, helping creators just like you were saying in the DNA, I help creators make sure that they're, they have their business intact, legally, making sure creators have their business intact, legally, those type of things is what I want to hear I know who to direct who I need to, you know, talk to you, I'm going to talk to you about it, especially in the TIC tock space, there's going to be a lot of people who are gonna be like, Oh, hell yeah, that's what I need. Okay, so I'm looking at you said that you've only posted once, or, or, you know, the, you know, there's 123456 from this year, that's what we're going to work on. The biggest thing is I want to see and I want you to hear back next month, and I want you to on these calls is consistency. And I know that's so hard. What you can do and what I've been practicing really like, I haven't even having a struggle with it. You can record yourself walking out to your car with an expression on your face and write text. If you don't have the time to do something, MC make it that easy for yourself, sit down in front of your laptop, when you're starting work and look like you're on a zoom call and have a fake conversation. That's something that people want to hear about or what they're going to need, would like, what's your biggest problem that you solve with your clients? What's the big their biggest question that you're helping them solve,
um, how to make sure that no one else can copy their brand. So example for benefit, we've got a petty if you were my client, you know, I don't know if it's I don't know if it's trademark, but someone else trying to file a name similar like body and petty or something like that she could walk out because she owns the rights to it. So how to make sure that people don't infringe on my clients brand. Perfect.
So in that sense, I would suggest for you to do a lot of stitches and duets. If you can do stitches, and duets, there's so much drama in the business realm. There is a huge, huge tip talker Her name is Anna K star and she stole somebody's brand that was trademarked. You can go and then stitch that creators video and say, let me tell you why this is legal. Let me tell you what Anna did wrong. Let me what let me tell you what this Creator did right and how she avoided having her brand stolen from her. Boom, you have a great, you're using viral things that are happening. You're using drama. And I know that's a hard thing. Some people don't like adding drama, but in the business that we're you know, that you're in right now. It's a really good opportunity for people to know your face and know who to come to if their brand could possibly, you know, be stolen by another creator. And so, you know, something big that's happening right now on tick tock, you know, is with roads, Hailey Bieber and Jones roads beauty. And you know, there was a business for the last four years named roads beauty. And they sued Haley Baldwin, or Hailey Bieber, whatever her name is for that. They they sued her they say you cannot use our thing. Why? Are you tell me why this is because they're worried that
her name infringes on their brand that they had been established. And I think I haven't followed this case in a while. But they are maybe she is beauty. And they may be clothing or apparel. And so the argument was like, Are they close enough where people who normally wear their client base and where they're loyal client base, could be confused by Haley's brand and so it's just been this ever, um, tug of war since then.
So this is how you are going to communicate that to your videos, because I just needed to I wanted to know not for my personal because I need to know that. Like, it was very easy for you to come up with that on the spot. That's how easy it is for you to go make a video and you know about that that's on a subject that's so heavy right now in the TIC tock space. And even if it's not you get to make it a big deal. You get to look up brands Keith Lee right now, and he's doing Chipotle. Chipotle, you know, trade my are not trading the food guy, right? He's good guy. And now his name is on Chipotle in his hometown in his home Chipotle store and they said Chipotle can Keithley trademark this What is the possibility? It could, it could be something that's not even drama, but you can make it about that and say, wow, this person really knows their stuff. This person literally just opened my eyes to know that, like, I should probably be knowing this, something I also want you to focus on is leave your videos on cliffhangers, all your videos should always, always, always give them the way but never the how. So that when they need the how, that's when you can give them your advice, that's when they're gonna go to your link tree and schedule that you know, on your Calendly or your calendar. And they're gonna say, I need to know how to do this, I need to know how to protect myself. And I need to know why it's important and what steps I need to take to do so. So there's a lot of good things that you can do to kind of ramp up your content and even more now, so that you know that you know, focusing on the bigger creators, even if they're smaller creators, focusing on business that have an impact with their community that have like, I would suggest for the next 30 days, any amount of content that you're going to make, I would just focus on stitching creators. I mean, you don't really need anything outside of that. Because it's going to you're going to give them what they need and talk about what they need and just use that to pull in attention to who you are so that they can say I needed that. I needed that too. And it seems like
I think probably the most recent video I did was stitching with somebody else who yes, had a video. Yes, that one. So that's your Yeah, that's a video that got got more views. Yeah. Okay, let me see really quickly, I'm going to the last 30 days. 30 days. Show me this content, and then we'll go by views this scan back 25.1 day, so it's fine. Okay.
I don't know what's happening. Anyways, so what I'm seeing right here, I'm gonna just go off that top of this. Actually, let me just, that's what I need to do. I think it was just me on my side. Sure, okay. Yeah, you only posted one time. So we'll go from the top. And then when you are building a business or a brand, that you are knowledgeable, as much as
trademark attorney here, and I love this video for so many reasons, one of the most important things that she mentioned is that as business owners who are building brands, it is so important for you to have some sort of knowledge about each subject area as it relates to your brand. Now, you may not understand the nuts and bolts, the technical jargon, the legal information and all of that stuff. But it is important that you do have some sort of general idea about the subject matter. Number two, it is important to make sure that you will hiring someone who has background which protects the getting all those things, so that person actually knows what they're talking about and has the right information.
Important, okay, I skipped through this is because I need more interaction from you. So if you notice, I don't know if you've been watching, I'm sure you haven't been watching my screen specifically outside of what we're doing on tick tock here on my shared screen movement. I'm moving almost constantly so that I'm stimulating you, and everybody else on this on this live right now. So that you can feel connected to what I'm saying. You know, it's something that's, you know, very paramount inside of tick tock is that we're constantly giving them stimulation and something to look at. So in that sense, you start off the videos, like I love this video right here. And I'm going to really before stop, I'm gonna just show you an example really quickly, you know, look at my screen. And now, I love what they just said right here. It's so important for A, B, C, and D, let me explain to you why, like, let me explain as to why. Sometimes it's about you know, how your body languages if I'm just sitting here like this and talking to you guys, it's going to give me something that I'm sure you just don't want to you know, stay on and hear about, or you're not as excited for. But I was excited when he first started that video, he says I love that you had that smile, you had that joy, but I needed something to give me more or to stay on the page. Now, it doesn't have to be big, it doesn't have to be bowled or you don't have to get up and jump around. But if you're moving like something that like I like to do, and I do quite a lot is when I'm sitting down, I like to just I just like to talk swing around a little bit, you know, just kind of get myself loose. Before even this call. I was just kind of like, I just noticed myself kind of moving around, you know, and I and I wanted to do that because it needed to get my energy up. And I know I'm exhausted all the time. So I'm sure all of us as business owners As are exhausted all the time, so, you know, just adding that extra little hype up for yourself can work. So maybe not even doing movement the whole time but giving them something here and there, you know, if that's a two minute video, you're giving them at least like every 10 seconds, do something like, you know, fidget with your, you know, I like to fidget with anything that's on my desk. So, for this, I'm talking to you, and I'm gonna put on my chapstick that's solely talking to you, I'm still engaging, I'm still making you see something else outside of what I'm talking about. So you're gonna focus on me what I'm doing. Okay, I'm gonna make you focus on what I'm doing. So in the beginning, if you want to start with like, Oh, God, no, like, listen up. Okay, listen up, I have to fix this. That was very simple and easy for me to do and show you without putting in like high energy effort like Tiktok does it have to be high energy effort, but it does have to be somewhat stimulating. And in that sense, even in that video, if you wanted to redo it, you could, and just adding those little extra things in like, Oh, God, no. Okay, listen up, here's two tips that everyone should know, but probably can't afford to know. You know, in that sense, just redo it with a little bit more energy. And your views were really good on it because of the subject line. And you know, your explanation. So make your explanation stand a little bit more and be a little bit more engaging, so that people really get the feeling of how important this information is, then they won't have the opportunity to get this information outside of what you're telling them. Most people won't give them that information. I'm going to go back to sharing my screen. So we can go on to the next one really quickly. And this one was one by
one, here are three things that you absolutely must know about intellectual property. Number one, there is no hierarchy when it comes to intellectual property. Patents are not better than trademarks. Trademarks are not better than copyrights. None of that is true. Number two, the type of intellectual property that you are going to pick depends on what your business does. Pants will protect physical inventions or physical products, trademarks will protect the branding elements. So think your logo, your business name, your tagline, hashtag smells, etc. Copyrights will protect original works of authorship. So for example, if you're a course creator, you can copyright the content of the course you create trade secrets will protect that secret sauce, that thing that you cannot afford to let anybody else know because that is how you get your business.
All of this is very pertinent information that everybody's going to want to know, I'm going to suggest you to do just do one thing, while you're doing this, instead of just holding the video up behind a blank wall. But this video somewhere leaning against the wall while you're folding laundry, or why you're you know, hanging out with your child, why you're going for a walk, or why you're doing any type of thing that you naturally do in your day to day life. Like, if it were me, when I would be setting up, you know, in in front of us, I would be setting it up on my TV. And it's showing me that it's showing me reading a book and having my legs crossed, and just chilling out. But I'm like rocking back and forth, flipping through pages, doing something expressive while I'm having this conversation with somebody. So then again, it stimulates your audience to know what you're talking about and why it's important. It's 57 seconds, that's not a problem at all, I don't think that's a problem at all, I think the biggest thing that you know you need to do is just be a little bit more stimulating.
Because I find like when I do trends, like the trending stuff, it's easy for me to, you know, it's easy for me to get more views and stuff like that, when I need to talk to actually teach or share or whatever those are when the views are sometimes lower. So I'm trying to fit okay, but you give me the answer to that in terms of just being more engaging to those like talking videos.
Yeah. So again, this is you know, this is where can come in, you can have those you know, those trends or those sounds that really work for you, that's going to kind of capture those eyes, and then have a video of you doing something like you're getting ready for the day or like you're hanging out with, you know, you're hanging out with your family and you're just getting ready or you're just you know, making, you know, so an easy lunch. You know, it's something that's simple, that's just going to keep them focused so that they can pay attention to the long amounts of information we're training. Let me I'm gonna say this as as funny as it sounds, we're training our viewers to like basically like they're our children, you know, so we need to talk to them like we're their children, we need to be constantly doing something like they're our children. I know with my daughter, what I'll have to do is I would like hey, so anyways, let me give you a hug while I'm telling you this long story about why you need to listen to me and why this is important to me that you you know, you know, respect boundaries and things like that. But I have to be doing something either holding our hand or we're doing something together, like, you know, playing a game and I'll bring up the subject, it's almost something like that is we're teaching our viewers basically like their children because they need to know this information, it's going to be important for the long run, whether it be their business, whether it be who they are as a person, whether it be, you know, a method that they should practice, you know, it is really that small of just doing something engaging to where they can sit in and listen to you. But yeah, I still really think that your videos have so much good information that you are getting the views, I think it's just how you're doing it, I would just continue to stitch videos and do that for the next month. So if you if you can get on my call next month, and even if you don't get on the call next month, okay, hit me on the messages though, on the back channels and let me know like what you're doing even if you want to send me over a video anybody if you guys have any videos where you're not sure of or you need a little bit more idea, just message me on Facebook and let me know like Hey, I had this idea I filmed this video, can you critique it? And now we'll rip it to shreds or I'll just hype it up because you did so good and you took the information not really gonna rip it to shreds but you know what I mean? Like in that sense if you need a little bit more, I'm always happy to help out and give more information or you know, examples or things to shift and change in that way. So yeah, that's what I would say for you. I was super excited to do yours
