I wasn't born. But my grandparents were Jewish, my grandfather. He fled Eastern Europe during the war and met up with his parents in England with his two brothers. They got chased by Nazi soldiers that were shooting at him. They jumped on a garbage scale and the scale took them across his river and then they made their way to England, where they met up with the rest of her family.
